The long-running Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is all set to end in July 2025. According to sources close to the production, the emotional final episode is expected to air in the first week of the month. The popular daily soap, which first aired in October 2020, enjoyed a successful run for nearly five years.

The show initially starred Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt, and Aishwarya Sharma in lead roles and quickly became a fan favorite due to its intense drama and compelling characters. Over time, the storyline evolved through several twists and turns, including a major generation leap that brought in a fresh cast.

The recent leap, introduced in early 2024, featured actors Param Singh, Vaibhavi Hankare, and Sanam Johar in key roles. However, the attempt to revive the show with new faces did not deliver the expected results. Viewers were not as invested in the new characters, and the show struggled to maintain its earlier popularity.

Popular characters like Savi (played by Bhavika Sharma) and Rajat (played by Hitesh Bharadwaj) were written off during the transition. Although Bhavika later returned to the show, her comeback, along with the addition of Param Singh, failed to generate excitement or improve the ratings.

The makers tried several dramatic twists to keep the show engaging, including a mysterious death storyline and a time slot change. Despite these efforts, viewership did not pick up, and the chemistry between Bhavika and Param Singh’s characters did not connect with the audience. A close source revealed, the channel has decided to end the show by the first week of July. Bhavika’s return didn’t have the impact we hoped for, and her pairing with Param didn’t click.

The second generation of the show had also featured Shakti Arora and Sumit Singh, along with Bhavika and Hitesh. Even with these popular faces, the show could not regain its earlier success.

While fans may be disappointed by the news of the show going off-air, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin leaves behind a memorable legacy. From high drama to emotional storytelling, the show has been a defining part of Indian television. It serves as a reminder that in the world of TV, it’s not just twists or changes that matter—lasting success depends on a strong connection with the viewers.
