So is he going to go around protecting every widow now as their fake husband?! I'm sorry but it makes no sense to see him do this. Its also utterly disrespectful to his real wife and marriage. Shruti is the wife of a Naxalite. She chose a certain lifestyle. So jo baatein sunna hai voh toh she has invited on herself...and why exactly is he hiding all this from Sai anyway....if he is so stressed/guilt ridden etc, isnt it even more reason to tell Sai so she can help him. Or does he not trust her?

Panic may be! For First time pregnancy, entire family supports a woman especially maternal side because the woman does need moral and physical support. Sruthi has only virat now. Virat should go to her for the same reason. He kept himself available till now, so can’t give up on her when she is at the verge of delivering. His promise to his friend is to make sure she delivers safe! So if he doesn’t go now then all his help till now is a waste.


I don’t have problem with virat posing as a husband because that’s the best protection he could give a pregnant lady at this moment given scenario in Indian society. I DO have a problem if he gives his name to the child without sais consent. Sai can contest it in court and go for a divorce. With just sruthi, she can try to be understanding, iff he explains.

Patriarchal mindset of society cannot be a reason for him to go around playing fake husband to people. These are 2 separate issues. In my mind, There's no connection between these 2 things.

just think humans as social ‘animals’ and see why husband fills the gap. There are hundreds of realistic movies in Indian Cinema that discusses the issues young windows or single women face. Theoretically even I want a Society where role reversal works. I see that somewhat in USA. But in India no… we still have long time to move forward .

Why can’t he be Brother anyway she will be living separately. It is normal for brother to help during those times. He can visit her as brother.

The problem here is I can’t connect to either Virat or Sruthi.

Virat is just being sorry for not sharing things ITV Sai. He is never sorry for giving his name as husband and father to baby.

He is not even thinking he is betraying his department.

I just wanna give one example: if a brother and sister goes on bike and they get comments like you are bf,gf. Will their relationship change? Will they became husband and wife for the sake of society? There was one movie in telugu oh my friend. There was one beautiful dialogue in the movie. It's the movie about a girl and boy can be friends too without love angle. There boy's father asks his son we are in a society where people comment on the relationship even if a brother and sister goes on bike together. The boy answers: but their bro sis relationship won't change because of such comments the same way his friendship also won't change because of society. This is what I wanna say too. Why should we change because of some disgusting people in the society.

I understand your point completely. You are not fully wrong. But such kind of situation happens to even real bro sis. It is the patriarchal people who needs to change not the other way around.

Sorry my dear.. The same patriarchal structure didn't work for him when he kicked out his wife in the middle of the night?? If Sai hadn't stayed outside that night maybe she could have been leballed as pros* if caught by any police.. And to make things worse about he is the one who locked his wife..

If Sai was wrong to help eloping his sister for her betterment.. Then Sruti is a criminal who's moto is to kill people..

Sorry calling himself as Shruti's husband raises questions on his character.. Has he taken responsibilities of all the devorcies,orphans or widow in the society to give his name as husband.

His character isn't flawed but despicable.. He not only cheated his wife but he is cheating the nation..

tv serials and movies reflect the society. And start the debate of right or wrong. Just like they condemned virat’s locking as domestic abuse. You have to show the reality so people will identify it with their doings then condemn it to strike hard!!

Especially kakus talk yesterday, she asking for heir and demeaning sais achievements will reflect with most MILs in Indian families. Yesterday I felt good that certain section of women will identify with kaku and then must have taken aback by virat and sais words! That’s good writing in my opinion. Show the mistake and then condemn it.

Anyways I am not ashamed of my opinion . It comes from a deeper understanding of reality. Neither I condemn others opinion because it comes from an idealistic viewpoints. Both are good . One is reality and one is Desired reality where virat will not have to pose as a husband to protect a woman 👏
