But if makers create a situation that seems utterly out of touch with a characters personality, then actors either need to be able to discuss with makers and change things a bit or find some way of performing it in a manner that still connects with the audience.

I feel like as pissed as I was at Sai during devi elopement track because of the sheer rubbish, I felt some sympathy for her. Cant say the same for Virat now.

The way they try to victimise Pakhi onscreen, the same way they try to do it with Virat, portraying Sai as the villain...which actually increases hate for those two characters.

No doubt, direction is seriously lacking in the show but that can't be excuse for consistent bad acting, especially of experienced ones.

I try to watch it as a audience only.. Not bothered about direction or acting much unless it irks my eyes.. Ayesha is more convincing though she looks exhausted in some scenes.. Neil has gone bellow average.. It's hard to bring complex emotions if you are not directed well..

Most importantly the timing of shruti track is completely wrong.. SaiRat are in a very vulnerable stage of their relationship..The way story is building up It can push away Sai forgood and audience will stop shipping them...Virat is however turning our to be a joker.. Who shelters a criminal for the sake of friendship ..

True, if they can't deliver, it is better to stop this one week ahead episodes experience.. anyway both Neil and Ayesha need some rest. Ayesha has been working from episode 1 non stop, and Neil had important personal events recently.

That's what, whatever is shown should be soothing to eyes... Pakhi's acting and Neil's disgusted acting is not.

I feel it is better that Shruti track was brought now and not clashing with Sai's pregnancy track... Sai abhi bhi samajh le aur bhaag jaa, time hai...🤣

Virat can quit his job or better fired from the department.

PD lunch fight is one of my favorite.. Both Ayesha and Neil were reluctant to do the scene.. But director convinced them and it turned out a gold.. That complex emotions with pain angst was beautifully portrayed.. Even I used to liked their fights per ousting drama..Be it Aniket, Ajinkya and DIG drama.. Neil as Virat was so good emoting his irritation and anger towards his wife.. The intensity were visible..

I miss the sultry and Sassiess that old director could bring out from Ayesha during GC.. She was such a tease those days.. ❤️

Now a days Neil has gone bellow average.. I mean he can't differentiate between care and love..he gives same disgusted expressions to both P* and Sai..

However u agree with many of you that even his hood acting can not salvage his character.. Which sane person would risk his job and personal life for the sake of a long lost friend...

He was still good showing his restlessness and guilt when he just got back from mission...He couldn't even sleep.. He did look traumatized.. Don't know what happened afterwards as you guys are saying

He is getting some tuition from his wife. He said na they prepared together...😆

I agree. I think pp from get go was pathetic actor. There was nothing about her character or acting to "like". And her offscreen behavior makes many of us hate her even more. With Neil as Virat, I really want to cut him slack and give him a chance but Virat is getting unbearable. And Neil is unable to make us feel for at him at all.

I mean in the past until Ajinkya kaand I genuinely felt some sympathy for him as a viewer. But since anniversary everyday my hope for Sairat getting together, being happy dies a little and every day my feeling that Sai is better off without Virat grows stronger. Thats a shame. They have such awesome chemistry. sairat have a certain magic but unfortunately its being bungled up.

I was so happy about friendship track and I genuinely thought it could get back on track but nahi :(

@bold I think this is what happened to Neil in the post-anniversary track - the locking up and other crazy behavior. I don't think Neil connected with that at all. And seems like he didn't receive any help from the director or the creatives either. Compare the PD lunch kaand - it might have been difficult to relate to that unpalatable part of Virat - but Neil pulled it off beautifully. That scene came out well because of the old director Jafar...he must have helped Neil with what exactly he wanted Neil to convey. I don't think it is fair on an actor to be left without any guidance when you are writing such shit for him.

PD Lunch scene was best... You could feel his concern/ jealousy of Sai going out without informing him to his male ego getting hurt and him getting stubborn of not letting her go. It was so on point, these days these variations/ nuances are completely missing.

As the audience watching the show, its perfectly reasonable fir us to bring up our dislike /criticism for scenes, direction, editing, dialogues, performances. The show exists for us audience. If we arent happy with the show, we can and will air our opinion. Thats my generic comment

But personally for me, both Neil and Ayesha are good actors but Ayesha for me is so on point that shes tje only reason I watch. For me She makes even decent of even those scenes where the dialogues arent great or makers try to make her annoying/irritating.... I find her very dependable and her character to be the saving grace. If not for her I'd have long stopped watching.

Neil - i feel like he's 90% of the time good with expressions but they have botched up his character so bad that even his acting cannot salvage it anymore. And he hasn't managed to pull out anything out of sheer likeability/charm as an actor to make me as audience sympathize with him.

I agree.

Sai behaved badly with Virat seeing the anniversary surprise but there was no disgust or any hate emotions. There was a mix of confusion, shock, terror, concern, love, everything. I still cannot feel that whatever Sai did was wrong because of her acting as well as the post kaand.

She behaves differently with Ajinkya, Aniket or other friends and different with Virat, that is the variation expected from Neil... totally missing.
