But Neil is going downwards like anything... the whole thing about Neil being so limited with expressions and mostly wrong when it comes to expressing anger to two different relations is life is so true. His anger even after the anniversary track came out as disgust and that's where I started pointing out his lack of understanding his own character and him coming out all wrong with directors doing nothing about it. Lack of good directors has made this show pathetic and also ruining the actor's crafts. Neil however has really gone downwards... He might just establish himself as a bad actor among the masses along with Virat being the worst ML as the show ends.

Ayesha, as a newbie can be given a chance, plus she is inconsistent in emotional scenes with her dialogue delivery mostly while crying but I guess that can suit a 19 year old girl. In other scenes, like the happy, nok jhok and giving back/ confrontation scenes, she is top notched. I feel she is the saving grace of the show with her character Sai.

For Neil, his disgusted expressions are undigestible. The way I enjoy those expressions for Pakhi, I hate those for Sai. The way he seems caring for Shruti, same way he does for Sai... Walking holding hands etc. I couldn't find the sense of detachment...the nuance was missing. If someone who doesn't watch the show, watches his scenes with the three females standalone, it would be difficult to understand who is the wife. And that is not good.

I don't know if it is allowed, but 7pm colors male lead has the worst characterization but the actor's screen presence and acting actually saves the character so much that one has to remind oneself that he has messed up really bad in past. That's what is needed to salvage a pathetic character, Neil isn't able to deliver that.

Plus, he doesn't look natural onscreen, in intense or crying scenes especially, acting seems acting only, and it's getting worst day by day. Hated the disgusted expressions when he bumped into sai... Arre, she is your wife, you can be irritated but not hate her for unknowingly bumping into you.

Jb tk shruti track chalega tb tk koi interest nhi hai serial mein..... Bakwaas kr diya show shruti track lake or agle 4-6 months ese hi bekaar rahega show.... Sairat k naam pr Sirf lolipope scene dikhenge or baki time virat shruti k saath hi ek ghar me rahega or sai hostel shift ho jayegi..... Phir kuch time baad virat shruti ko CN me le aayega or phir se usi k room me rahega uski or uske bacche ki care karne k liye.... Or sai akeli rahegi... Sai phir kisi or city chali jayegi tb v virat usi city me shruti k saath shift ho jayega..... Phir shruti ki death ho jayegi tb virat sai k saath rahega cn mein phir kuch time baad samraat ki death ho jayegi to phir se virat pakhi ki care karega or uske saath jayada time spend karega. Family members pakhi ko uske parents k saath bhejne ko khayenge pr virat nhi jane dega vi khud uski care karega....

Sai ko chod kr baki sb k saath virat time spend karega or unki care karega.....

So no more interesting things in this show only crap show bn k rah jayega copy paste k chakkar me...... Tamil version bahut aacha tha or copy paste v nhi kiya tha confession k baad..... Uha makers ne apni creativity ki thi.... (Uha no shruti track/ no samraat death)..... Kafi aacha kiya tha.... Oh certainly..he seems to be unable to differentiate between anger on Pakhi and on Sai...Care for Sai and for Shruthi...ANd its irritating to see that as a viewer.

@red Tell me about it...I spoke the same thing months back..Most of his scenes where he is going out of his comfort zone he looks unnatural, as if its all and act...you know it looks like he is acting and not feeling those emotions...A lot of people have talked about him giving disgusted expressions to Sai, which kind of does not make sense in any of the scenes other than their confrontation on the anniversary..

If he was truly doing something confidential we'd defend him but sheltering a criminal and getting personally invested in a strangers life and calling her your wife- its cringe worthy. Even if he had respected some boundaries in terms of not making himself her husband n father to a strangers unborn child and given Sai at least part truth instead of this refusal to say anything even though its NOT something official/work related as he has clarified to everyone publicly in ZA, one may feel a tad bit of sympathy. But this behavior is unacceptable.

In the past we have all called out Sai for hiding things from V and eloping with Devi. We had almost unanimously agreed that while kicking her out of the house wasnt ok, his anger at things being hidden from him was justified. So today what Virat is doing is way worse!

That's what makes Virat Chavan's character more pathetic than others, he seems to not have a sense of right or wrong... The God saviour complex, turning into self-victimization in no time.

He always does this... Virat Chavan jyaachi pakki zabaan' but would always lie and manipulate the situation, same happened in cafe kaand. How is sai or anyone else expected to trust him when he always is in the wrong side of the spectrum, has questionable behaviour, victimises himself and at last also accepts that whatever Sai thought was right.

On top of that, they try to incorporate dialogues which whitewash him, make him mahaanest... Like sachcha police officer, best officer of police force etc.

Problem is the writers don’t think Virat is wrong. If they think he is wrong then the character arc would be different. They wouldn’t have butchered his character so much.

They are showing him as bechara whose wife doesn’t understand and is immature. There lies the problem.

The famous dialogues of the Cv and the ML is characters in ghum are grey. I seriously don’t know which shade of grey though.

Let’s forget Sairat for a moment. If you look at his character as an IPS officer it’s an epic fail as well. They show him as a hero cop and does a job like a comedy police.

I read in Twitter when ghum started airing no major serials was in air and none of the famous Male TV stars with major FD were working at that time. Which is not the case now.

But with the ph coming up with two more shows I have no hopes they will do better with ghum in future.

OK just an intellectual discussion/question. I still find myself scratching my head at what they were going for with Virat around & after the lockup kaand. I felt they were going for someone who had shut off his emotions + had a lot of bitterness + remorseless + defensive. Definitely the nuance was missing. But I am confused how an actor should approach this situation...

See while Neil is a good enough actor, he is not such a great actor that he can pull off any crazy change in character or too many complicated emotions at the same time. He needs help from the director & creatives in such cases - which has sadly been missing. He looks more like a thinking actor, rather than a spontaneous actor - someone who builds up a character and its motivations in his head - and acts by putting himself in his POV. Maybe his slump is because he has totally gone out of sync with the character.

See, again the nuances are missing. He is doing really horrible things to his loved one, atleast a conflict of emotions, where he thinks whatever he is doing is right but also doing it to his wife makes him a bit guilty. One incident and you don't start to hate the person you claim to love and his face drips disgust, hate, rather than mixed emotions, that makes the need for monologues to audience to remind them ki ye pyaar to sai se hi karta hai but vo hate jaisa lag raha hai...đŸ€”
