I'm not in favour of Sai cancelling Virat's transfer....she should let the man go. She too shows her share of selfishness in the relationship....but a lot of times, it's quite natural given the minefield on which their relationship is standing...with an obsessive ex, a harassing family and Virat's own failures in the relationship.

Inspite of all that, I still see a HUGE difference in their level of possessiveness. Virat's level of possessiveness is too too selfish, too vengeful and crossing all boundaries of respect ...to be palatable.

I thought too once that if they had a normal marriage, they may not have these issues. But I'm not sure. Their flaws, especially Virat's....and the constant power struggle between them will always be problematic between them.

Even I thought so...But No Virat is not that man...He will never treat her as an equal.. Never..

Not saying all of them are nice folks, I'm aware many of them are in fact not nice people. There was a similar case of an IPS officer abusing his wife for years and still being egoistical after having a case registered against him. So matter is not what I think or what you perceive I think.

The problem is, how this man is supposed to be an IPS officer who's supposed to stop crim and it's not like I expect all of these officers by default to be moralistic. I press on that fact on Virat being an IPS because he harps about duty over everything all the time. So where did his duty go when he got to know about him families crimes against his own sister? What did he do when his family abused his wife? In fact he abused her the worst way possible.

This is why I say it's a shame to portray virat as an IPS officer officer because he claims he's a dutiful officer and he's the protagonist of the show. It's not like Audience is being told he's a villian and a hypocrite, he's being glorified after abusing his wife and hiding his family's crimes.

This is what my problem is, glorifying an abusive man who calls himself a a dutiful IPS officer.

Those men , those officers are not nice men. Will not be seen as nice men. Virat is being protrayed as a good man. He has been introduced as a great Police Officer. He talked about "Jazbaat se pehle Farz". I dont remember when he followed it though!

I have a different view about this. Yes, Virat is going wrong and is trying to control her. One main reason for him to fail to realise when and where he is going wrong is because he lets his emotions overpower him and the other reason being some practices have been so normalised in the house that sometimes he fails to understand or realise the lines that he is crossing. It took his mom to make him realise that he behaved like his Dad during the PD lunch incident.

He needs right guidance, therapy to shed out the toxicity which is somewhere imbibed in him, instilled in him due to the household he was born and brought up in.

Exactly why I say he is not that man at this point of time. If he needs always for someone to speak about it, definitely the marriage is going to be difficult.

Yes the marriage will be difficult. You are not getting it Asmi. Sai can get married to someone else and who knows how he is going to be. He could be worse than him. I am not saying all are going to be like that. She also has flaws but her flaws don’t cause damages to him the way his flaws does to her.

When you look at if he needs always someone, that by itself shows that he needs help.

There are many who have committed mistakes and crimes. They are all given chance to correct, to change themselves. They also live a normal life. They also do get married.

I am not saying Sai should live with him. I have said already that I don’t want her to.

Same my prob is a ML lead who is portrayed as a balanced person who chooses his profession aka farz

Problem also is they do not think this is abusive

Plus the wrong portrayal kind of so called male lead in this kind of role of builds a pejudiced portrayal of cops. That even they normalize abuse ..what kind of image does in build for young minds who are unable to differentiate reality and screen

Personally I have encountered quite a few cops and you rightly said there are bad apples everywhere. But my experiences have been decent

I know a few personally and they are decent humans. Yes hardened but still have empathy. That's y I am frustrated that he can't catch pp lies , his mom's misery and most imp the way they abused his sis mentally and physically . Most of them atleast at the ACP level read body language so well.

My first experience was quite good. I was being stalked by someone and the cops actually caught him and got a few beating and got let off after his parent's arranged bail.

Another time was during my case,my ex husband threatened me with sucide and even though they don't have jurisdiction since he was in another state they helped me coordinate and called him and said that all the calls are proof and the case itself has enf evidence so he better stop and helped me Register a wcase in that state station online due to my situation. This was the most compassionate one. He gave me a glass of water and got me dropped home

I was working in a diff state for some years , there I have had an unsavory one when I went with a friend who was harrased by her husband. The cop is like cooperate with him in bed and some shit . I felt very uncomfortable

I have issues with how he handles and conducts himself when he is angry. Sai is also very problematic because she is impulsive and brash...he wants control and that to me looks like a big issue. He has never even treated his issue with Ajinkya and other Male colleagues and Sai's issues with Pakhi to be same. I talking about that equality. While Sai understood his issues with her male colleagues every time. And its not like he has not bee given a chance he has been..but when angry he repeats it again.

@red: Joining the Academy has such effects😉 😆

It was a sight to behold- didi's eyes widening, throat tightening, face paling, body constricting- if I didn't suffer from life threatening adverse reaction to seeing her on my screen I would've tried my utmost to watch her scene again...🤣

I love the way Samrat makes her walk on a minefield with few questions 😆
