Your family is closer and get to see the worst of you.

I'm not defending Virat.

I never have, nor have any inclination to.😆

I've said this from the start - that whenever he praised Sai for something, he'd dilute it with adding 'she's a child, she's immature, blunt, doesn't understand' etc... he's pretty much been the same from the start... it's just as his emotions and feelings for Sai started developing his behaviour and word's followed suit and became harsher, despicable.

At first he could maintain the distance because he had no attachment to her. Hence his blows seemed slightly softer.

In one of the posts in the early days I said Virat is a copy of Ninand....he's proved it time and time again and even out crowned his father!

I know you have never defended Virat. I read the updates thread everyday😆I know that characters can't be completely black or white. Infact it's interesting to see the growth and journey of grey characters. But don't you think that they're taking it too far with Virat's abusive behaviour? He keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over and over again. On earlier occasions, he used to feel bad for all those actions but now, we have a Virat who will be justifying this behaviour of locking up his wife to his entire family. He thinks that what he has done is correct. Doesn't this "moral and dutiful" officer stop and think once that how would he deal with such cases in his professional capacity? How different is he from a jilted officer? What kind of love and attachment is this which makes people do such things? For how long will such harsh behaviour be justified and pushed under the carpet?

that’s the best card the girls can play .. nobody can say anything … except maybe virat if he was her real husband..

Virat’s ego blinds him and makes him irrational..Sai not accepting him as her husband has hit him hard .. and till she does … he won’t relent .. now how the storyline is written depends on he author but in romantic novels they show the hero heroine making out .. after such a long fight ..

Virat will not force her .. but till she accepts him as her husband he will not relent also ..

He can be relent all he wants but he should know the way to try and make one to accept another is not abuse. Nothing he’s doing or saying will make someone want him as a husband😆 he’s lost his mind completely and is no better than them guys who hurt girls who reject them because they can’t take no for an answer, it’s truly sad given he’s in uniform to serve and protect and he himself is harming only because she doesn’t accept him. He’s no better than criminals who hurt and harm women because their advances are denied.

Wow Lakshmi! You summarized the mindsets of both characters superbly. Nothing more to add.

I am also appalled at his behavior because this is not what I expected from him. 😢

@red: Joining the Academy has such effects😉 😆

It was a sight to behold- didi's eyes widening, throat tightening, face paling, body constricting- if I didn't suffer from life threatening adverse reaction to seeing her on my screen I would've tried my utmost to watch her scene again...🤣

I love the way Samrat makes her walk on a minefield with few questions 😆

Haha Academy, I am lagging behind due to prior commitment for this S*** fest🤣. I caught up with 1 episode from last week and seemed better than 1st week 🤞

My fingers were itching since I saw the episode yesterday and my IF was not working. Maybe it was saving me from getting banned 😆.

Virat is seriously becoming a s***** character which I never thought he would. I just don't know if this is the other side of him he is intentionally showing Sai or he is as Vile or more Vile than his Bff

Samrat seriously needs more dialogues. He needs to grill Patralekha every time she butts in Sai and Virat matters so she will walk back on egg shells from where she came crawling 🤡

He seems worse than Ninand or should we even compare the 2 since both are worse in their own way😆. After seeing this vicious side of him, I wish his phone never broke and he would have got a perfect partner for life. One does the crime and the other covers up the crimes 🤣

Tbh I only watch itv for lovestories. I don't feel they can do justice to character's and story beyond a point.

Even the lovestory becomes stale close to the confession.

Or like Ekta you have to b reincarnated or have a terrorist attack every day 😆

@red: from what I understand characters are inspired by real life. If that is the case - then in real life people are double faced. They can go out into their community, society and the world and give big talks about justice, giving people their rights, fighting and standing fir the truth - and give all this justice to outsider's- but when it comes to people in their own home - their closed one's, loved one's, their sense of justice becomes very subjective.

I've seen, heard and know, in houses how men can come home and speak to their wives about a wrong another man is doing- but won't feel the same thing they are doing in their own homes is wrong in any way.

So for me, I know in serials they try to over dramatise things - with Virat it's actually a very close call to reality.

You mentioned that before he used to feel bad - but did that bring any change in his actions the next time? That means in actual truth he didn't feel bad, his sorry was only surface level.

I think his presence is enough of a Red Tape for Virakhi just like Virat's vaada dialogue was fir Sai on their wedding day

Word Laksh 👏 on not understanding his feelings, misunderstanding him, cancelling his transfer which he badly wanted.

At this point Laksh Virat has gone crazy in hurt, anger and his ego being hurt that Sai rejected him, he is hurting her with his actions, words , which ever way it's possible to do so. I am glad my IF was not working yesterday, since I had some 🤬 words for him after watching the episode. Much calm now, and I don't even think he knows or see what he is doing anymore. He is in a self induced rejection coma and doing everything in his power to show the different Virat he had promised Sai. If you notice he makes faces Everytime Pakhi speaks but lets her go on and continue insulting Sai. More like he doesn't approve of what Pakhi is saying but he doesn't care anymore and will support Pakhi in taking his wife down. He is in a you are hurting me so I am going to hurt you 100 times more than you hurt me 👎🏼. Since none of this earlier dialogues or how he repented when he was wrong vs what he did yesterday just don't match. This is a devil Virat who is out to destroy his own life.

I wish the PH can change the track and actually show Sai walking out from this abusive relationship where the so called husband being an IPS officer has no control over his emotions or anger. He really needs therapy and anger management classes , like right now.
