@bold What she meant was that he was faking as if he is happy with everything because according to her he has feelings for Pakhi but he is sacrificing it for his brother. This is the same girl who was made to hear a stupid story from the guy at the lover’s point who made it look as if the tragic story was his own story. After hearing all those and knowing the background of their relationship, also witnessing the lovers (how it looked like) at the cafe holding each other’s hands, one crying and other comforting, she is not able to believe that Virat is actually happy about the whole thing but is doing it all for his brother’s happiness.
@green That is the problem. He cannot understand anything from other’s perspective.
@blue I agree.
Virat has lost it. He has no control over his emotions and actions once again.
He is getting desperate to be loved, for her to reciprocate his feelings.
He doesn’t like Sai misunderstanding him.
Her questioning Pakhi also means her questioning him according to him. He is taking it personally and hence growing mad.
If Pakhi’s truth from the cafe come out, there are chances that even he wouldn’t be believed, his truth will be difficult for people in the house too especially for Samrat and Sai to believe.
Sai has understood what Pakhi is trying to do and her conscience doesn’t allow her to be a part of anything that Pakhi is doing. Pakhi had asked for this Pooja as a new start for her and Samrat’s life which Sai has realised to be all fake. She is as usual blunt in expressing what she thinks about all these and how she wouldn’t want to be a part of it.
Sai calling out on Virat entering Pakhi’s room just like how Pakhi enters their room was very right. At the moment Virat will take everything as an accusation.
Virat in a way did what Sai had said, acting like Pakhi. He just entered their room and also entered their conversation with no manners at all. He should have walked out when he saw Samrat and Pakhi were having a personal conversation. Even if the conversation involved him, he shouldn’t have and had no rights to enter their room snd discussion that way.
As Sai herself had said he wouldn’t understand what he is doing now but by the time he understands all these it would be too late.
Virat will definitely have to face the consequences of his actions.
Sai is angry that Virat can’t even see what Pakhi is doing and is blindly believing Pakhi but is insulting her by ganging up with Pakhi whereas Virat is angry thinking that Sai is not able to understand him and is misunderstanding him yet again.
The guy doesn’t understand what impression it can give to a girl if he sides with his ex, if he gangs up with his ex and attacks his wife.
For Sai, Virat supporting Pakhi yet again only proves the value of her in his life and the value of Pakhi too in his life.
Him going to Pakhi’s room was a problem mainly because of what happened in their room and also because the actions of the friends are similar.
She has been able to see many similarities between the friends. One of the reasons why she got hurt during the pendant drama where she realised how both of them thought the same thing. All such indications makes her think and feel insecured that their wavelength matches, their thinking matches, they understand each other, they are meant for each other (also as spoken by the yoga instructor with more details about their chemistry).
Virat is upset and has become vengeful that his feelings is not getting reciprocated and also because of Sai saying he is acting like Pakhi, that he will be coming in the way of Samrat and Pakhi’s relationship.
He wanted to hurt Sai intentionally by asking questions like if she is not happy with Pakhi’s happiness. It is like using what Pakhi had spoken against Sai, using what Pakhi had accused Sai of. He was hitting her below the belt by saying these.
Like many who understand and who gets impressed by soft natured people, people who act very patient and who try to project themselves as matured people, Virat gets carried over by Pakhi’s facade, her fake maturity, her fake magnanimity so much that Sai’s honest and blunt attitude and behaviour irritates him, pushes him to conclude that she is immatured, that she will be protesting for even genuine things.
The same Virat who always appreciates her honesty is unable to do so now since he doesn’t want any of these now. He is right now a selfish guy who just wants his feelings to be acknowledged and reciprocated that he doesn’t care even if there is any truth in what she is claiming. This is exactly why he is supporting Pakhi, appreciating her because even though he likes Sai for who she is, he wants her not to be blunt ur straightforward this time.
Also Virat likes the qualities in Sai but would also like her to possess some of the qualities of Pakhi (which he has not even realised is only superficial qualities of Pakhi) like acting soft, acting obedient, acting patient. Is this not why he wanted Pakhi to guide Sai when she first came to CN? He is still impressed with some of Pakhi’s qualities because of which he has high regards of her, calls her matured , samajhdhaar all the time. He is a very opinionated guy who likes Sai for her selfless and righteous nature but also thinks of her as moohfat, badtameez, nasamajh/immatured.
He is so angry with Sai
- for not reciprocating his feelings
- for continuing to misunderstand him
- to have cancelled his transfer which would have meant that he could have got away from all this easily but is made to face her, stay with her without being able to control his emotions for her, without being able to stay away from her, run so far away from her where he will not have to see her, face her only to be developing expectations from her to understand him and his feelings every minute he he staying next to her
- so enamoured by Pakhi’s facade, fake acts that he has ignored all her evil intentions and evil acts
that he wants to hurt Sai, wants to shut her up, wants to put her down that he had once again made a below the belt comment by comparing her with Pakhi. By saying why the family like Pakhi but not her.
Her taking the liberty to cancel his transfer has also pushed him to want to show his liberty, his power by controlling her by locking up in her room.
Virat like Sai’s qualities but would prefer her to just abide by what he or his family says/expects that are anyway reasonable as per his guidelines. If the family expects that Sai gives up on education, he wouldn’t want her to follow but if the family expects her to apply Alta or attend a Pooja, then he would be expecting her to follow without protesting.
Sai hasn’t got a clarity about their relationship, she hasn’t got to know what they spoke in the cafe. She also knows that Pakhi hasn’t actually moved on but is only faking it to make Virat feel jealous.
Even if Sai could have expressed her unwillingness to not attend Pooja in a different way, she was also pushed to behave like this after the way he and his friend had bullied and insulted her the previous night.
Just like how he was showing his anger, she was also showing her anger by refusing to attend the Pooja in the way she was. She wasn’t willing to back down when he was challenging her that he will ensure that she won’t be able to leave the house.
She also didn’t like the way he always tries to get certain things done and knows to what extreme he can go (PD lunch incident) and hence challenged him in return to see if he would do anything that he had promised that he would never do.
All that Virat had showed at the end was that he would not let her have her way, he will show her his power and will control her actions in anyway if needed. His hurt, his anger has blinded him so much that he is and will be doing everything against her, will want to make her do things that she doesn’t want to.
@red I am sorry to say but I no longer consider his feelings for Sai as love. A person in love wouldn’t inflict pain on their loved ones and Virat does it by siding up/ganging up with people who are against Sai (Pakhi) and insults her because he is upset with her.
Very very very well written as usual, Laksh ❤️ Props to you for doing this analysis even after the crap we are being served 🤣

Virat wants the best of both worlds. He wants a girl who is selfless and genuinely caring(Sai) ....but he also wants a girl who worships him, is obedient to his wishes, acts demurely with his family(Pakhi).
If Sai breaks down in front of him like an ablaa naari or is dependent on him to rescue him - he will be moved to sympathy and it will also soothe his male ego and saviour complex. But Sai's autonomy rattles him. He neither wants her to fight her battles in her own brash way.....nor can he accept Sai complaining about his family....or fighting with him for not standing up for her.
"his mind and body is only attuned to Sai .. don’t know about heart"
Perfectly said. She is just a piece of commodity that he likes and he feels that it belongs to him. Sai's feelings, her human-ness .....they do not matter to him at all.
He is acting like a jilted lover who cannot accept the rejection. So yes...Pakhi and Virat are the same in this respect.
Aila correct ..when I think about it
Yea he just feels.he owns her ...he wants a demure yes woman who may be whatever but as long as she is submissive to fam and him he is ok ..he is trying to make her into pp mould but with Sai caring nature and pp outward nature
🤗🤗🤗
@red: Joining the Academy has such effects😉 😆
It was a sight to behold- didi's eyes widening, throat tightening, face paling, body constricting- if I didn't suffer from life threatening adverse reaction to seeing her on my screen I would've tried my utmost to watch her scene again...🤣
I love the way Samrat makes her walk on a minefield with few questions 😆
Yaar I want this attitude towards the show too...kaise??? 🤣
After watching today's episode and whatever Virat told Sai, I believe in only one thing now. Virat and Sai are not meant for each other. Virat has never understood Sai in the last 1 year. Sai is the last person who would be jealous of anyone's happiness and she would be the last person who would want to be compared with anyone else, leave alone a vile person like Pakhi. Whatever Virat feels for her are his bodily needs maybe, not the soul connection required amongst life partners.
Virat and Pakhi would make a good pair. She would abide by his family's rules, love him a lot, do his seva, come home on time and also keep him happy in the bedroom. Virat respects Pakhi a lot. He would also start loving her because of her obedient nature and also because he believes a lot in societal norms and he would eventually fall in love with his wife. Makers should unite them and spare Sai and Samrat the life long torture of putting up with such life partners.

Same my prob is a ML lead who is portrayed as a balanced person who chooses his profession aka farz
Problem also is they do not think this is abusive
Plus the wrong portrayal kind of so called male lead in this kind of role of builds a pejudiced portrayal of cops. That even they normalize abuse ..what kind of image does in build for young minds who are unable to differentiate reality and screen
Personally I have encountered quite a few cops and you rightly said there are bad apples everywhere. But my experiences have been decent
I know a few personally and they are decent humans. Yes hardened but still have empathy. That's y I am frustrated that he can't catch pp lies , his mom's misery and most imp the way they abused his sis mentally and physically . Most of them atleast at the ACP level read body language so well.
My first experience was quite good. I was being stalked by someone and the cops actually caught him and got a few beating and got let off after his parent's arranged bail.
Another time was during my case,my ex husband threatened me with sucide and even though they don't have jurisdiction since he was in another state they helped me coordinate and called him and said that all the calls are proof and the case itself has enf evidence so he better stop and helped me Register a wcase in that state station online due to my situation. This was the most compassionate one. He gave me a glass of water and got me dropped home
I was working in a diff state for some years , there I have had an unsavory one when I went with a friend who was harrased by her husband. The cop is like cooperate with him in bed and some shit . I felt very uncomfortable
You got it right, it not only normalises abuse but also builds a certain prejudiced image of cops in the minds of masses.
Cops become cops by their ability to see all the ugly things in the world and still retain their most human quality : empathy but virat mirrors nothing like that. He doesn't even think of Sai as a person but as a thing he has to possess.
First of all I'm so sorry you had to go through those awful experiences and I'm glad those dutiful, kind officers helped you in every way they could.
This is what I was talking about, officers like these also suffer once a prejudiced image is built in the audience's mind. While I don't mind an outright villain police officer who does such things but his crimes are whitewashed in the show and even glorified, this is why I'm wary of the entire show now.
Follow my lead and join the academy 🤣🤣

Not saying all of them are nice folks, I'm aware many of them are in fact not nice people. There was a similar case of an IPS officer abusing his wife for years and still being egoistical after having a case registered against him. So matter is not what I think or what you perceive I think.
The problem is, how this man is supposed to be an IPS officer who's supposed to stop crim and it's not like I expect all of these officers by default to be moralistic. I press on that fact on Virat being an IPS because he harps about duty over everything all the time. So where did his duty go when he got to know about him families crimes against his own sister? What did he do when his family abused his wife? In fact he abused her the worst way possible.
This is why I say it's a shame to portray virat as an IPS officer officer because he claims he's a dutiful officer and he's the protagonist of the show. It's not like Audience is being told he's a villian and a hypocrite, he's being glorified after abusing his wife and hiding his family's crimes.
This is what my problem is, glorifying an abusive man who calls himself a a dutiful IPS officer.
Completely agree to this!!!! There's no problem if Virat is shown to be a not so good person right from the outset. What is unsettling is that this character continues to be portrayed as a person who is very dutiful to his profession and values his duty over anything else whereas the deeds done in personal life qualify for him to be dismissed from service.
Virat wants to dig sai into the ground
Sai wants to make him explode out of the ground
That's it. 😆

But isn't that reality aswell in many a household's?
How many people will we find reflect their outer 'finer' appearance in the same way at home?
Your family is closer and get to see the worst of you.
I'm not defending Virat.
I never have, nor have any inclination to.😆
I've said this from the start - that whenever he praised Sai for something, he'd dilute it with adding 'she's a child, she's immature, blunt, doesn't understand' etc... he's pretty much been the same from the start... it's just as his emotions and feelings for Sai started developing his behaviour and word's followed suit and became harsher, despicable.
At first he could maintain the distance because he had no attachment to her. Hence his blows seemed slightly softer.
In one of the posts in the early days I said Virat is a copy of Ninand....he's proved it time and time again and even out crowned his father!
