Part 6

After today’s episode I am highly/deeply and madly disappointed in Virat Chavan, so I am going to make his life miserable in the story. I hope you guys enjoy it.😈

Chandal Chaupadi @ Chavan Mansion:

Omi: Dada, Aaj jaise Virat ne Patralekha beti se baat ki, who bilkul sahi nhi tha.

Sonali: Haa Vahini, ye Virat ne jo kiya who toh galat/wrong/bhul tha.

Ninad: Mujhe toh samaj mei nhi aata , ki yeh Virat ko aajkal ho kya gya hai?

Bhavani: Isme Virat ki koi galti nhi hai, us par kaam ka kitna pressure hota hai aur pakka us jungle mulgi ne kuch kiya hoga jiski wajah se Virat pareshan hoga.

Sonali: Ho Vahini, mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai.

Just in the meantime, Sai enters the hall.

Bhavani: Lo aa gyi Maharani

She calls to Sai..

Bhavani: Aye jungle mulgi, aaj tune kya kia tha, ki Virat itna pareshan tha.

Enters the (Maturity Professor) Patralekha with a tea tray (showing off her aadarsh bahu skills.)

Sai: Aap kya bol rahe ho Kaku, Virat sir toh bilkul theek the ,unhone toh mujhe college bhi choda tabh bhi ache se baat kar rahe the.

Patralekha and Chandal Chaupadi is shocked hearing this and her (Pattarlekha )eyes well up.

Sai: Kyun kya hua, aap mujhse aise kyun puch rahi thi?

Bhavani: Jhooth, Virat aaj subah itne gusse mei tha, pakka tune hi kuch kia hoga.

Sai now irritated.

Sai: Haa bilkul, aur aapko pta hai, aaj jo baarish hui thi aur kal Kashmir mei jo barfbari hui thi, who bhi meri wajah se huyi thi.

Bhavani: Kya?

Sai: Is duniya mei har aapda – vipda sab meri wajah se hi toh aati hai!

Saying this she makes beeline for her room before any of the Chandal Chaupadi stops her and questions her more.

In the evening, when Virat comes back from his duty, he goes directly into his room ignoring everyone in hall. As he enters, the room, he sees Sai is immersed in her studies.

Virat’s POV:

She is concentrating on something hard, her nose is all scrunched up, her eyes all focused, her forehead has lines and her lips; his eyes stopped there on their own accord following the trajectory of her lips. She has a small but luscious lips in the shape of rose petals, they are full and have the natural rose pink colour with a tinge of red; It was as if a drop of blood has dropped on a petal of rose making its ways across the petal.

Sai feels someone’s gaze on her and looks up to Virat staring at her.

Sai: Arey, aap aa gaye. Aapko kuch chahiye.

Virat: He is broken out of reverie by her sweet voice. No, nothing tum padho, mai fresh ho jata hu.

Sai is again immersed in books within seconds. Virat goes and takes a change of clothing and goes to washroom.

Kitchen:

Patralekha POV

Virat insulted me this morning and he went with Sai to college. Whatever I do, this Sai always comes between us. I cannot leave it for Sai to come in between of me and Virat. 🤢I have to make Virat realise, that what he did with me in the morning was wrong.

She takes cup of tea to Virat’s room, so that she can make him realise his mistake.

In Sairat’s room:

Virat has just came out of the washroom and Sai has just completed her thesis on the cancer research topic. She is taking another book for light reading when Virat calls her;

Virat: Sai, tumhari padhai puri ho gyi?

Sai: Haa, maine apni thesis complete kar li hai, kyu kuch kaam tha?

Virat: Nahi, par tumse zaroori baat karni thi.

Sai: Haa boliye naa, mai toh bas kal ke lecture ke liye revision karne jaa rhi thi, kuch itna imp nhi.

Virat: Sai, who mujhe..

Patralekha knocks on the door, both Sai and Virat look at the door.

Patralekha: Virat, agar tum gussa na ho toh mai tumhare liye chai layi thi.

Virat: Pakhi mai tumse gussa kyun hone laga?

Sai noticing, it’s time for patralekha’s drama class tries to resume the studies. When she notices the incoming message from Jai.

A smile blooms on her face in advertently, her face lits up.

Virat notices it but before he can say anything, Sai leaves the room with her phone.

Patralekha ignorant to all this continues..

Patralekha: Nhi Virat; tum shayad kisi cheez se pareshaan ho, tabhi toh aaj subah uska gussa mujhpe nikal rahe the, she says in a sulking voice hoping that this would send Virat to the guilt trip she needed.

But before Virat can react to Pakhi’s comment, his phone chimes. As he picks up his phone to check the message. It was a forwarded Message from the IT for Sai’s phone.

It was a message from Jai:

“Aap door ho lekin dil mein yeh ehsaas hota hai,

Koi khaas hai jo har waqt hamare dil ke paas hota hai,

Waise to karte hain hum yaad sabko,

Lekin aapki yaad ka ehsaas hamesha khaas hota hai”

Virat POV:

A red haze fell in front of his eyes, the next thing that came to his mind was the smiling face of Sai from few seconds ago; She was looking at her phone before smiling like that. He has never received that kind of smile from her, nowdays she laughs when they talk, but she has never smiled like that to him, with such affection and LOVE.

Patralekha breaks his train of thought by calling out his name.

Pattarlekha POV🤢:

She waited for apology after she finished the sentence, she waited for the guilt-ridden Virat but in vain, he was staring at his phone as somebody has broken his favourite toy.

Patralekha: Virat kya hua, kuch pareshani hai kya?

Virat: Nhi, koi baat nhi bas kaam tha. Tum btao kyu aana hua tumhara yaha?

To say Patralekha was hurt and shocked, was understatement. She thought of apologies , clarification but never this.

Virat’s phone chimed again, alerting that Sai was receiving a call from Jai. Virat’s fury knew no boundaries. He looks up from his phone to see cup of tea and he says

Virat: Pakhi mujhe bhook nhi hai aur chai peene ka bilkul mann nhi hai, tum le jao.

Saying this he leaves to search for his wife. He found her standing near the railing. She was touching the petals of the flowers while speaking on phone. Her hair was cascading as waterfall. The moonlight shone on her face was nothing compared to the shine that her smile has casted on the world around. He has not seen her this happy, after her Kamal sir has passed. Thinking of this a sinking feeling made its way to his heart. There was an indescribable pain that this Ehsaas has given in his heart. It was the Ehsaas of her moving away from him for forever.

Love it! I'm glad Pakhi isn't getting any importance. Can't believe he is spying on his wife. Waste of resources but if it has the intended effect then why not!
