I like this strong Geet she could stand and defend herself

before the goons and also make an escape

Maan watched everything and decided to act beating the leader of the goons

while the other goons ran away

taking Geet to his Jeep and asking her what she is doing around this area

while at the same time losing himself in her beautiful eyes

Loved it !!

Geet is full of spirit & spunk .......she has her own unique way to answer everything!

Loved how she stood up to the goons ....... & that she was hiding in maan’s Jeep all along 🤣....... while maan was searching aimlessly for her everywhere. 🤣........ & she actually came out to save maan 🤣....... she is too funny .

Her little face off with maan was interesting where she got caught in her own lie ........ maan could recognize those bewitching eyes anywhere ...... & I loved the eyelock moment ..... it was a total “mahi ve “ moment 💕

So she believes in equal rights & wanted to reject the boy before she was rejected 😆. I think maan has met his match .

Now curious why Brij & darji locked geet in her room & don’t even give her a say about the rishta. ? Does geet have a past as well as maan ?

Geet wanted to escape from this “lahdki dikhayi” drama..

Moreover she is not ready for marriage now, she has just turned 18 and not even cast her first vote, she has a lot of things to do in her life other than marriage, she would be forced to get married eventually someday or other, even if she doesn’t want to… but what’s the hurry?

She runs to their farmhouse ( Khurana farmhouse) to hide for the rest of the day…

Geet had no idea that the rightful owner of the Khurana farmhouse is back…

When Geet reached the farmhouse, she goes towards the door unaware of Maan strolling in the garden..

As soon as she sees Maan she runs to hide somewhere…

She goes and hides in the back of Maan’s gypsy …

She waits there, waiting for Maan to leave… she thinks Maan has just come to have a look and would leave soon to do what he has come to do.. he has been invited to the Handa home for chai naastha haina? That time she would sneak into the farmhouse, she has a key with her…

Geet falls asleep in the jeep itself and when she saw that the jeep is at the Handa home, she thinks that it’s better to stay hidden until the jeep returns to the farmhouse when she can come out and leave safely…

But there is no sign of Maan going back to the harmhouse, for he is on the mission to find his bride, haina?

Geet kept watching him until he stopped at the old Wearhouse..

Geet knew that it’s the den of the gundas and it is not safe to go there…

She patiently waited for Maan to come back without getting into any trouble but Maan kept going towards the Wearhouse…

Geet got out of the jeep and ran to stop Maan…

That’s when the gundas saw her and everything happened…

Maan hears the story and is shocked..

Maan thinks that she should be running from him only, who wouldn’t she?

Maan then gets a little upset that she is so desperate to reject him that she is even ready to take such a huge risk….

He is grieved not by the thought that she didn’t like him but by the thought that she rejected him even before she met him… she tried to send him back in the morning itself na?

Maan has forgotten all his plans to reject her, he didn’t even have the courtesy , at least to know her name, but he can do anything he wants, b’coz he is the Maan Singh Khurana after all ….

Human mind always falls prey to reverse psychology, haina?

Jab humme patha chaltha ki humme koi jeez nahi milega, woh jo bhi ho, jisko humne kabhi chaha bhi nahi ho, jisko humne kabhi dekha bhi nahi ho, humme turant uss jeez se pyaar ho jaatha aur hum usse apnane ki koshish mein lag jaathe apne app, haina?

Suddenly something strikes Maan, maybe she knows his past… maybe that’s why she is against this marriage… .then she has every right to reject him…

Maan: tum mujhse kyun baag rahi thi? Tum mere barein mein sab jaanti hiana?

Geet thinks about what darji told about him…

She knows everything about him, but it’s not about him, it’s just about herself… how would she make him understand that?

But why would she bother much about his feelings?

Why does she feel bad for him?

He is no one for her, yet she has no right to judge him for his past, haina?

Geet knows very well how the society judges you for everything that happens in your life even if it’s not your fault….

Maan looks a little low for a moment…

Geet doesn’t like to see him like that…

She doesn’t mean to hurt him at all…

Geet: lekhin woh baat nahi hai

Maan: it’s not your fault, tujhe pura haq hai apne zindagi pe, tumme koi samjautha karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai

Geet: aap ne samjautha karne ki faisla kyun liya hai phir?

Maan looks at her confused…

Maan: kaise samjautha?

Geet: toh aap mere barein mein kuch nahi jaanthe kya?

Maan: woh mein

Maan feels embarrassed for being caught red handed… yes, he didn’t care a bit to know anything about her…

Geet: ab mein samajh gayi, lagtha hai ki mere gharwale ne aap log se sab kuch chupa liya hai

But the Handas have said everything about the situation to dadi clearly…

If Maan didn’t have the interest then it’s not the Handas’ mistake…

Maan: I don’t know, maybe I didn’t want to know anything

Geet: you wouldn’t have come this far if only you knew everything about Geet Handa, the runaway girl

Maan: what?

Geet: aajkal log mujhe apne naam se kam aur “ghar se bhaagi ladhki” ki naam se zyada pehchaanthe hai

Maan: toh tum har ek rishthe se aaise hi baagthi ho?

Maan is a little relieved to hear that…

Geet: aaise baat nahi hai

Maan: it’s ok, mein tumme waise judge nahi karunga jaise log karthe hai, tum utna bhi bhuri nahi lagti

Geet: aap kehna kya chahte ho? Toh mein bhuri ladhki hoon?

Maan: aaise tum sochthi toh mein kya kar sakta?

Geet: pehle aap suno kya hua tha

Geet thinks that if she tells her story to him then he would run away himself…

That’s what everyone does after hearing her story…

She has never wanted to clear herself off the charges to anyone for her own family doesn’t have faith in her..

How could she expect others to react otherwise?

Geet tells Maan about her past…

It all happened a couple of Maanhs ago…

Geet was in college then…

Back to the past….

Geet joined B.Sc. Computer science in a women’s college in Chandigarh after finishing school at Hoshiarpur…

She had to promise to stay as a good girl(whatever that means?) to everyone and also to marry only the boy of their choice in order to join college..

While every other girl was happily entering one of the happiest and best phase of their life, college life, with lots of joy and happiness Geet almost had to wage a war single handed against every man in her family, to get into college…

Everything went smoothly until her last year…

A new comer from abroad joined their class, her name is Avika…

Avika is a bindass girl with a carefree attitude and solid courage…

She is just like the girl that Geet always wanted to become…

A strong, courageous and independent girl…

Geet soon became friends with Avika and the two became pretty close in no time…

Avika's parents are staying abroad and they have sent her to stay with her grandmother..

They wanted her to adapt to our culture….

But she remained the same and was a huge influence on Geet…

And a few days into the final semester, Avika planned a jolly trip around the country, to the South and back in 15 days…

Anika convinced Geet that Anika would travel whenever she wishes but this would be the only chance for Geet to be on her own and enjoy life before being married and become someone’s slave…

Geet loves traveling, she is always fascinated by the numerous travelogues she is a fan of… and the current travel vlog trends keep her hooked anytime….

Geet got carried away and agreed to accompany her…

Geet stayed in the hostel and the trip was planned in the Christmas holidays… planning was easy with the numerous websites and latest technology…

Geet told her family that she had a project to do at the college and so she would be staying back at the hostel…

Anika told her parents that she is going to stay with Geet’s family for the holidays…

The two of them set out to Chennai first by train…

Geet was so excited and had a lot of fun…

In the meantime Brij went to meet Geet at the college hostel and found her missing…

He made a ugly scene at the hostel blaming everyone at the college for his sister’s missing…

The warden informed the police and they found out about the two girls missing soon…

The news spread to Hoshiarpur in no time…

There were search operations including at Hoshiarpur…

Everyone came up with a lot of rumours.. .

Some said that Geet got married to some boy..

Some believed that she ran away with her boyfriend…

Some even said that she is gay when they learnt that she ran away with another girl….
