Next day hote hi Geet ne phir message kiya

Message rebound

She tried calling him but no use

Geet ne decidd kia ki Maan ke ghar jaake hi dekhte hain

Waise bhi faaltu ki chinta ho hi rahi thi

Ek baar Maan ko theek dekh legi toh usko bhi tasalli ho jayegi

She reaches Maan’s home

Maan’s staff knew her so lets her enter easily

Maan ke drawing room ke couch pe his mom and a man are sitting sipping tea as Geet enters

G- Good Morning

Mom-Oh! Good morning Dr Handa

G- You can call me Geet...Mrs...emm...mam

(Awkward silence)

Geet ne socha Maan ki mom baithne ko offer karegi

Ab nahi kia toh she continued

G- I came to meet Maan. Can I please…?

Mom- He is in the guest bedroom

Geet is standing blanking waiting for directions

Is his mom assuming that I would know every nook n corner of Maan’s house?

Geet wonders

The man sitting on the couch realizes Geet’s position and gives her directions

Geet goes towards the room

She never realized ki Maan ka ghar itna bada hai

Aur wo Maan ko apne chotte se shoebox sized room sula rahi thi

Zarur interior decorator se sajwaya hoga, she thinks

Warna Maan ko kahan itna sajaana aata hai

She reaches the room

The room is locked from inside

She knocks

G- Maan. Its Geet. Are you there?

The door opens

Maan is in his vest & track pant.

Hair disheveled

Her eyes widen seeing him in his hot avatar

He moves so she can walk in

He locks the door again after she walks in

The room is in a mess

Furniture is all upside down

While Geet is noticing his room, Maan notices that she is wearing a pink salwar kameez.

Geet ne socha tha ki Maan ki mom ghar pe hogi toh ache kapde pehen leti hoon

Baal banake thoda makeup karke bhi aayi hai

G-Hi. How are you?

G-Maan?

She asks again as he doesn’t respond

He is looking at her with accusing gaze

M-Thank you for calling my mom. Now she will drag me into a rehab

G-No, why do you think so?

She goes near him and cups his face between her hands

His 5 O’clock shadow is touching her palms

M-I don’t think so. I know so. We are going to London today and there they will chuck me into a rehab

G-What???

Her heart sinks

G-I will speak to your mom. She will surely listen to me.She knows me, trusts me as a doctor

M-She hates you

He says blankly

G-What??? Why????

M-She thinks you are reason for everything. You are the wrong influence. That after I met you, things went downhill for her son and that you are a gold digger

G-What????? I am not!

She is just shocked by all this

She is finding it hard to find words

G-I am a bad influence??? You had a gun!

Maan wanted to say, ‘well you had a chainsaw’ but doesn’t say anything

I like how you described the scene where they are walking to geet’s place . You created a very vivid image .

They are totally enjoying the tranquility of spending time together while they are leisurely walking & actually having a pleasant conversation

It was the calm before the storm but this conversation was long overdue

I am so proud of maan for pouring out his emotions............

geet is totally clueless about his emotions or anyone else’s for that matter 😆

Maan’s last comment was funny

Hoping now the fog will clear out of geet’s head 😆
