because its also true Maan seems to want to fit in somewhere

G- Maan. Tea

He looks over his shoulder and accepts the cup

Geet kuch snacks bhi rakh deti hai

Both are sipping their tea while gazing at the non- existent city view

Maan breaks the silence and speaks up

M- Why are you dating other men then?

He asks staring at her directly

She is confused gasping for air and struggling to form words

She didn’t expect Maan to register her confession and even ask this question

He is waiting... still gazing at her directly

G- I am not

He is still looking at her

G- I met him for arranged marriage... stuff....

G-…he is a doctor too

She adds, as if that info changes anything

He smirks...Maan ki wo signature ironic half mocking smirk jisko dekh ke Geet ko lagta hai ki bole ki, taunt karna hai toh karna siddha!

She goes in

Thodi der baad Maan bhi aata hai

M- Aren’t you going out for work?

G- No, I am on leave

M- For how long

She isn't meeting his eyes

She sits on the bed hugging her knees

This is going to be more difficult than she expected

What did you expect? That Maan will smile and agree to everything?

Her counter ego argues

I expected that, I like an idiot, won't say ‘I love you’. This is beyond awkward now

She replies to her counter ego

Everything happened so suddenly that she realizes she has no plans whatsoever ki ye hafte mein karna kya hai

Geet TV chala leti hai

Maan aata hai nahaake

Sits beside her

Both are aimlessly staring at the TV

Maan says after 15 min of watching a Bigg boss type tv show that both of them don’t follow

M- I am not an addict

Well Geet he is not that much under the influence that he doesnt realize you just told him you love him, but has him taken a back a bit. They need to talk and I hope they can have a open conversation and not escape from their feelinngs.
