Devika taunt her bahu even when she does all the work before anyone ask and her bahu doesn't complain but thinks that elders do everything best for their children.

Baby boy is born and Devika's pain comes out after holding him. She feels that her baby Ranjeet is returned to her. Devika doesn't let anyone hold the baby even her mother. Hope everything become fine soon with time and devika doesn't become too much possessive for baby.

they are concerned just about getting their grandson and are the least bit concerned about their own son and dil...

poor them...the guy could not even rejoice and hold his own baby and his wife could not even nurse her son on her own...

loving this story too much

Why Devika is acting as the mother in law who do not like anything that their daughter-in-law will do, I thought she was in grief, less emotionally attached to everything around, but the pain for her loss of the baby has turned her into bitter one, bitter about everything and that includes her son and his wife.

In the house, the daughter in law too became insignificant like her husband..for people their presence may not be felt, but their absence will, because they are significant part of running the house and people do not realize that.

I can see what's going to come next to the parents of the baby when Devika has put herself in-charge for taking care of the baby. Hope they are not kept deprived of showering their love to the child. Hope they express and speak that out if required, there is a way to resolve the issues in the house and of the people you love, and they should use these methods than getting obliged or scared or emotionally blackmailed.

I have a weird feeling about Devika and Madhav, for not caring about the son who is alive, for not talking to him once, not even after the arrival of the baby. Something strange about them, not just them, rather the entire family.

wonderful update...very well written...newly wed DIL took the responsibility of all household works still had taunts & some silly mistakes found by her MIL which she had to bear all of it... she was happy with her husband who loved her... wow she gave birth to a baby boy but her FIL handed baby 1stly to her MIL by calling that their son back & her MIL was not allowed to touch by anyone even denied to feed him by his mother...baby's father was witnessed it from distance but both were silent even they were not asked about baby's name & grandparents named ranjit as their son back...excited for next...thanks for pm...!!

Sure after Devika had lost her baby she had changed her persona

while Madhav her husband was the one suffering seeing his wife lost

and aloof throughout these years now when their son brought home

their daughter in law she was supposed to be loved but instead Devika taunted her

and the daughter in law patiently took in all the taunts while she become an important

family member but her presence was taken for granted by all including the servants

thankfully her husband bought gifts to make her smile in happiness and his presence

was her strength now giving birth to their first son both young parents could treasure that

very moment as Madhav had ordered the midwife to hand the baby over to Devika but he was wrong in saying that their son is back to them because now Devika believes in his words and obviously she would not want to part with the baby while their son seeing his parents

so emotionally involved with his baby had to step back

but I do wonder if Devika will ever allow the baby to be with his mother as she already has given her dead son's name to the baby
