G-Maan! Gande haath hain toh khana nahi milega!

M- I washed them!! You were too busy staring at my hair

Maan says with a mocking sigh

G-Stop it Maan!

She walks over to him holds his wrist and drags him to the kitchen sink

Dish washer se hi haath dho deti hai

He lets her do her will and after she is done

He splashes the extra water at her

G-Ayyyy!!!Marungi tumh! Jao baitho wahan!

Maan laughs and tickles her a little

Geet giggles

G-Jaon aaaaa

Maan laughs and then leaves her alone

She puts the aloo pranthas on the table and sits to eat

G-Chutti kab hai?

M-Kaunsi chutti?

G-Office ki...aur kaunsi

M-Weekends…baak I am thinking of quitting. It’s not fun anymore without you there

G-Kyaaaaaaaa??? Do you have a job in hand?

M-Yes but nothing is decided yet

G-Pehle ek job pakki karo. Aise bachhon ki tarah decision lete ho tum!

M-Its not a kids decision. If I take this new job I can be close to my home and family

Geet thoda sa chup ho jaati hai

She looks sad ki Maan chala jayega

G-oh…dekhlo

M-Well at least I’ll still be here till you are here then you'll go to Trinidad or wherever and I’ll go home

G-No.... you dont have to be…I mean you can take the new job and stay there…main thode hamesha yahan rahungi…mujhe...mujhe toh apne ghar jaana hai naa

M-Tumhe ghar kyun jaana hai?

G-Jis liye tumhe jaana hai, aur kyun

M-Tumhe wahan jaane ki kya zarurat hai..

Geet looks at him

G-Toh kya saari zindagi yahin rahungi?

She says with a sad smile

M-I don’t want you to go there. You'll never be happy there. If you have to stay somewhere which is not here then take an apartment or a pg; of course you can live here as long as you want

She laughs as she puts the plate in the sink

G-Ek kaam kar lo; tum mujhse shaadi karlo. Tab main yahin reh jaungi, thik?

She says chuckling

Maan looks at Geet contemplatively

M-Idea bura nahi hai but not until I am properly settled

Geet look sat him and laughs more

Maan smiles back at her

He had an easy open smile

He hadn’t been joking at all

But it’s still nice to laugh along with Geet

Love and all of that sort Maan doesn’t know; if its real or not coz usse ab tak nahi hua. Uski behen ko bahut bada dhoka mila... he only knows love and loyalty for family

But what Geet said makes sense coz he wants to keep her around and marrying her wouldn’t be half as bad

He didnt think why does he want keep her around

Geet ne impulse me solution diya Maan ne bhi impulse mein haan kar diya

As for the why…he had already thought about it plenty

He likes her;plain and simple; as a man likes woman

Does he love her? He doesn’t know

He wouldn’t mind being in love with her but he doesn’t have time or energy for love right now; but liking her that is for sure

G-Tum naa,bol nahi rahe ho chutti ke baare mein

M-Batao tumhe kahan jana hai main tab le lunga

G-Arret umhe kaise pata mujhe kahin jaana hai yaa nahi?

M-Tum meri chutiyon ke baare mein warna kyun puchti?

G-Smart!Tum uss din picnic ke baare mein keh rahe the naa, maine socha garmiyaan padne se pehle kyun naa…kya kehte ho?

M-Sure. How about this Friday?

Geet nods

G-Chalo room mein sone

Maan follows her

M-Why don’t you settle down? I think I’ll take a bath before I turn in…all the travel dust

G-emm…main tab tak TV dekh rahi hoon. Mujhe bula lena

M-ok

Maan jakar jaldi se naha dhokar aata hai

Maan comes out and tells Geet ki wo naha liya

Geet aa jaati hai TV and lights band karke

Bracelet utaarke pyaar se side mein rakhti hai

Geet ne dekha ki Maan ne nahaate time apni goatee hata di

Geet ne to tab fiercely protest kiya dekhte hi

Maan aaya cot pe sone toh Geet ne haath pakad ke zor se drag kiya

He falls over her with the momentum of her pull

Maan is ontop of her

Their faces close and his breath tingling her skin

She is breathing in his body’s fragrance

Maan brushes a strand of hair away from her face and runs his finger along her cheek, not moving away an inch

She can’t help let out a soft breath and close her eyes

M-You know I just agreed to make an honest woman out of you over the dinner... we can wait for the honey moon till then love can’t we?

He says smiling mischievously at her still running his finger sensuously along her cheek

She opens her eyes

Her cheeks acquire a pinkish hue

Maan is still smiling down at her and not moving away an inch

He likes seeing her blush like that

He traces the curve of her cheek upto her nose

M-Do you know even your nose goes red when you blush? How cute is that…

Her eyes widen

She parts her lips to utter something but nothing sensible comes out

She finally says

G-Motu! Getup!

Maan finally moves away a little when Geet asks

M- Now who you are calling fat. I just might sit on top of you to teach you a lesson
