Maan reached forward he don't know to say what, may be to apologize but she spoke at that moment, her voice serene like the bells of mandir reached his ears and those of his employees,'' But I loved you so much. You said you will marry me, now...now you are giving me money?''

Geet looked at him in despair,'' You don't know me? Good. I will leave then, I am taking this money with me because its for your baby, a baby you are abandoning. From now onward never show me your face,''
she took a tissue paper out and dabbed at her eyes and then, left the building. Maan was so shocked at what had happened that he walked back to his office like he was in dream. He had wanted to insult her instead she had managed to make him seem like a loose character in front of everyone. He sat down on chair with his head in hands.

Geet happily strode outside, 25 lac! wow. She threw a satisfied glance back at the khaurana construction. That guy's face, it was worth looking. Who did he thought she was? she was a Haunda, geet Haunda. she had taught him a lesson. He had lost face among so many employees when he initially had planned to insult her sister.
she looked at the bank name on check, she better transfer the money. why say no to ghar ayi lakshami?

It was night time and Geet and Naintara were sitting on the floor of roof huddled together.
Naintara looked at the sad Geet sitting beside her. Naintara's eyes held disbelief and heart break,'' Dev died?''
Geet nodded somberly,'' He got bitten by a mad dog and they couldn't save him. His mom said that he wanted you to be happy, he said that choose a good guy and move on, in your happiness his soul will find peace.''
Naintara looked up at the sky as she slowly cried,'' He loved me so much.''
Geet nearly rolled her eyes but she controlled the urge,'' Di, his mom gave some money too, I have transferred it into our account. Its for your dowry.''
Naintara cried,'' But Dev, how could I think about anyone but him.''

Geet had just come back from spending time with her pet ''dhano''. Her mood happy, she stepped into the house when she heard voices. Curious she went inside and peeked into the drawing room. What she saw made her jaw drop in surprise. Dev was sitting there with his family including that MSK. she heard the words,'' We are here to ask for the hand of your daughter Naintara in marriage.''
she stepped back, what! what about her ras malai?
Suddenly someone hit her on back, she turned to find Naintara standing there,looking at her in anger,'' You said he is dead!.''
Geet looked at her for a second and then gave her a big innocent smile,''Surprise! happy new year.''
