Whatever maan is doing has to do something with is past like trust issue and now again he gelt like he was cheatef hence to save his heart from breaking apart he is saying all this

What is the past of maan is now raising my curiosity and we might be getting to know about it sooner

Double dhamaka update maan is so lost in his past scars and agony that he has completely lost himself and shattered geet so much not once tried to find the truth or seeing love in her eyes he just lost in his angry that he is only seeing what he wants to see geet totally broken Meera was furious seeing geet condition and decided to take her away but maan wouldn't as he has become so delusion that he isn't realizing how much he is hurting her just baseless accusations finally forced geet to accept something she wouldn't dream of doing
