Part 4

After school Maan came to pick Naina... He told naina to sit in car while he went in search of geet... It was as if he feared that she would disappear again... He didn't want that to happen again... She was his piya's ANGEL... He found her near staff room and went towards her...

Maan: Geet

She turned towards maan and gave a small smile and said " Ohh maan u came.. Just a moment please.. Veer aata hi hoga...

Maan: Who's veer..???

Geet: Mera beta... RajVeer...

Maan: Ohh...

Before he could say something veer came running towards geet and hugged her by legs...

Veer: Mumma chalo jaldi.. Mujhe bhookh lagi hai... GF ke haath ka pasta khana hai...

Geet: Accha bachu... Aaj GF ko mhaska maara hai Pasta ke liye... Badmash...

Veer: Arey nahi mumma... Daddu ne kal cheating ki na so aaj GF ke haath ka pasta sirf mujhe.. unhe nahi dunga... Chalo na jaldi aap...

Geet: Uff veer tum bahaut badmashi karne lage ho aaj kal... Hum ghar jaayenge par thodi der baad...

Maan was watching the interaction between geet and veer... He smiled at veer's talks... Geet saw that and said " Veer inse milo ye hai Maan uncle... Piya Maasi hai na uske husband."

Veer smiled at maan and said " Hello uncle... Piya maasi kaha hai.. Mujhe unse milna hai.. Mumma na mujhe stories batati hai unki aur maasi ki..."

Both geet and maan went mum for some seconds... The smile they had vanished from their face...

Maan: Beta aap ki maasi nahi aayi...

Veer became lil sad and then smiled again and said "Uncle aap unhe kal leke aana... Mujhe unhe milna hi hai.."

Maan: Kyu beta aisa kya kaam hai piya se tumhe..???

Veer told him to bend down till his level and said in his ear with low voice " Wo kya hai na uncle ek sirf piya maasi hi hai jo mumma ke secrets bata sakti hai... Wo mujhe jab danti hai na piya maasi ka naam lo toh wo shant ho jaati hai... Agar mein aur secrets jaanunga toh fir mein mumma se kuch bhi manva sakta hu..

Maan started to laugh at that... He can feel how naughty veer was... Totally opposite to Naina...

Maan: What if I give u her secrets..???

Veer: Sachi aap doge..???

Maan: Han but u have to promise me one thing..???

Veer: Kya..???

Maan: Aap piya maasi ka naam mumma ke saamne nahi loge.. Done..???

Veer thought for a second and said "Done" Maan smiled at that and kissed his cheeks... Maan felt veer was adorable like his mother...

Maan stood up and said " Geet chalo koi toh hai ab jo tumhe badmashi karne me competition deta hai.." He chuckled saying this...

Geet: Haaww Maan kaisi baatein karte ho... Mein kab badmash thi..?? Aur veer ke saamne aisa nahi bola.. Tumhe pata nahi hai ye kitna badmash hai...

Maan laughed at that and said "Chalo geet we need to leave.. Naina is waiting in car" With that he started moving towards car and geet with veer followed him... Naina saw her angel coming with her papa... She got happy seeing her angel but then frowned when she saw her angel holding a boy in her arms... She felt that angel was only hers and no one else's... Maan told geet to sit in car.. As naina was in front sit geet sat back with veer... Maan took them to restaurant first as both cuties were hungry and then he took them to park so that both cuties could play and they can talk... In restaurant Veer and Naina got jelled together with geet making them understand... They were chatting all the while till they came to park... Both immediately went to play... Maan and Geet sat there on bench watching them play... No one said anything... At last geet took a deep breath and started the convo...

Geet: Maan... Piya... Kaise..?? I mean kab..???

Maan saw towards geet and he could not hold himself by hugging her and shedding his tears "Kyu chali gayi geet.. Kaha chali gayi thi hume chod ke... Ek baar bhi piya ke bare me nahi socha... Shayad tum hoti toh use kuch nahi hua hota... Tum toh angel thi na uski... Use bacha leti... Par tum kahi nahi thi geet... Kahi nahi... I needed you.. For piya.. For me.. And For ur piya's Naina geet.. Wo toh piya ko jaan bhi nahi paayi geet... Meri naina ko maa ka pyaar nahi mila geet... Wo.." He could not say further just cried holding geet.. Geet was no less.. She could feel his pain... Piya was everything for both of them... Finally Maan had got someone with whom he can share his pains...

Geet patted his back and said "Calm down Maan... Calm down" Maan came out of hug and rubbed his eyes.. "Sorry wo.." Before he could say something geet spoke "It's ok maan... Let it go... Sharing ur pain makes us feel lighter..." Maan just kept looking front.. He could not form words to describe... Finally with courage he said "4 years ago when Naina was born we were so happy... Our family got completed with naina... But piya was lost somewhere... U might know she was pregnant when u left without saying anything.. It was her last month of pregnancy.. She was stressed as U were not picking her calls and nor was replying to her messages... I assured her that I will find you.. But I also got no information about you... Then Naina was born but Piya never left her efforts to search you.. She use to say Meri geet kisi musibat me hai... I can feel her sorrow... Mujhe use dhundna hoga... She tried a lot to search you but could not... One day she said she wants to go shopping for naina... Naina was 6 months at that time... She kept naina home and went herself... That day we lost her geet... We got news of her car hitting a truck on highway... People took her to hospital... I immediately went hospital hearing the news... I still remember that worst moments of my life where I lost my piya.."

Flashback

Maan rushed to ICU where Piya was admitted... He went inside and saw piya lying there lifeless with god knows how many wires attached to her... He slowly went towards her and caressed he cheeks with his hand while eyes were flowing with tears... Piya opened her eyes and smiled seeing maan...

Maan: How can you smile at such situation piya... Kitna dard ho raha hoga tumhe...

Piya: Maan just listen.. Mere pass itna waqt nahi hai...

Maan: Shut up piya... Kuch nahi hoga tumhe.. Samjhi tum... Mein tumhe kuch nahi hone dunga... U can't leave me piya... U can't... He started to cry...

Piya: Shh Maan... Shant ho jaao... U have to face this maan... For Naina... For Geet... For me maan... Please...

Maan: Par Piya... mein Naina ko kya bolunga... Geet ko kya jawab dunga...???

Piya: Maan promise me that tum naina ko mere bare me kuch nahi bataoge... Use toh mein yaad bhi nahi rahungi... She is too small maan...

Maan: U r her mother dam it... how could I will not tell her about you...

Piya: Maan use bata ke kya hoga... Mein toh rahungi nahi na... Please Maan.. Use humari angel ke bare me batana... Use Geet ke kisse sunana na jo meine tumhe bataye hai maan... Use Geet ko pehchana hoga maan.. Mujhe nahi... Geet ko dhundo maan... Use naina ke pass laao... Wahi hai jo mere Naina ke liye meri kami puri karegi... Wo meri angel thi par ab mein chahti hu ki wo naina ki Angel bane Maan... Use..

She started to breath heavily... The monitor started to beep... Her pulse was reducing...

Piya: Vaada karo Maan tum Naina ko uske Angel se milaoge... Use Sirf geet ke bare me bataoge... Mein sirf tasvir ban ke reh jaaungi maan... Isiliye Vaada karo please... Use dhundo maan... Meri geet ko.. Naina se...

She took her last breath before she could complete her sentence...

Flashback Ends

Maan: I was so lost in my sorrow and raising up naina that I forgot to search u after Piya's death... When Naina was 1 year old... I was searching for something in piya's cupboard when I got a photo album of her and ur pics... Suddenly I was reminded of promise she took from me... So I searched you but mujhe kuch nahi mila... Meine tumhari milne ki umid hi chod di thi... Naina ko piya ke kehne par meine saari tumhari aur piya ki baatein bataayi... Wo toh humesha mujhe tumse milane ki zid karti par mein office aur apne gum me itna kho gaya tha ki tumhe fir dhoodne ki koshish nahi ki... Aur Kal jab Naina ne mujhe bataya ki Wo angel se mili toh laga ke usne kisi aur ko dekha hoga... Par aaj jab tumhe mila toh Laga Jaise piya ka vaada pura hoga ab...

Geet could not say a word... She was silently crying listening to Maan... She could not imagine what her piya went through... How her naina lived without her mother... She instantly got up from her sit and ran towards Naina where they were playing... She took naina in her arms and kissed her whole face... She hugged naina tightly and cried holding her... Naina was startled by sudden event... But when she saw her Angel crying hugging her she also started to cry and Veer was no less... Seeing his mumma crying he hugged her legs and started to cry...

Veer: Mumma kyu ro rahe ho...?? Mujhe bhi rona aa raha hai...

Naina: Angel mat ro na.. Dekho mein aur veer bhi ro rahe hai...

Geet listening to them came back to her sense and stopped crying.. She put naina down and took both cuties in her arms and said " Aww meine tum dono ko rulaya.. I m so sorry.. Mumma ko kisi ki yaad aa gayi thi... Ab nahi roungi... Chup ho jao tum dono bhi..." She rubbed their tears with her hands and smiled looking at both of them...

Maan saw Geet hugging naina and crying and then making both children smile... He also smiled seeing three of them... Piya was right.. Geet was one who made naina smile whole heartedly.. He saw all three coming towards him... when they reached there Veer put both hands on his waist and with lil angry tone Said "Uncle aap ne mumma ko kiya jo wo rone lagi..??"

Maan: Ohh Mumma ke hero.. Meine kuch nahi kiya...

Veer: Mumma aap bolo inhone kya kiya... Mein abhi inki khabar lunga...

Naina was no less... " Paa soo bad.. What u did to Angel...??? Wo kyu royi fir..??

Maan was amused to see both of them taking geet's side asking him what he did and shooting angry glares towards him...

Maan: Naina tum toh papa ki pari ho na... Tum bhi geet ki side chali gayi..

Naina: Aap paa ho par ye toh meri angel hai na... Batao kya kiya aapne..???

Geet laughed seeing the trio fighting... Finally she said "Stop it u three... Veer Naina Inhone kuch nahi kiya... I just remembered my friend and could not stop myself from crying.."

Veer and Naina: Pakka na..????

Geet: Ha baba pakka... Chalo it's late ab chalte hai...

Maan: Geet Our conversation is not over yet... I want my answers geet...

Geet: Maan mein tumhe kuch nahi bata sakti.. Bas itna samajh lo ki mein tab is halat mein nahi thi ki tum logo ke pass aa saku... Mein aur abir ab saath nahi hai... Isse aage mein kuch nahi bol sakti maan...

Maan can understand her situation and said "It's Ok geet I understand... Let's Go I will drop u at home.."

Geet: Yeah... It's late... Maa papa must be waiting...

All four went from park... Maan dropped geet and veer at her home and he and naina went their home with Naina asking lots of promises from geet to meet her every day and play with her...

At night geet could not sleep... She was again and again remembering her talk with maan.. she was not able to digest the fact that her piya is no more... Geet could understand why piya took promise from maan about not telling naina about her... She herself was orphan and piya had seen geet longing for her mother and father... She didn't want naina to do same... Geet got up from bed opened her cupboard took out a photo of piya and her... She cried hugging her pic... "I am sorry piya... I m so sorry... Mein tumhare saath nahi thi jab tumhe meri jaroorat thi... I am so sorry... I promise piya mein naina ko tumhari kami mehsus nahi hone dungi... I will do whatever I can to keep her happy... Mujhse naraaz mat hona bas..." She kept the pic back in cupboard and went to sleep...

It's been a month now since geet got to know about piya... She showered her love on Naina as much as she can whenever they were together.. She would spend some time with naina and Maan after school... She could see reflection of piya in Naina... She was way too matured then her age... She was cute and sweet daughter... Meanwhile Maan and geet started to share a friendship bond... They started to know each other more than what they know through Piya... sometimes Piya's was only the topic they spoke about or their cuties... Maan never tried to ask her about Abir... He know she was a reserved person when it comes to show her emotions... He had known it from piya because Piya also had to struggle a little to make geet talk about her emotions... He was relieved by seeing Naina with geet... His promise was turning in reality now... Maan loved veer more now... He was naughtier like him... They would make a team and tease Naina and geet but at end they were the one to say sorry...

One Day when they were sitting in park... Naina and Veer came running to them... They were looking confused and were forming words to ask something...

Geet: Kya hua tum dono ko... Aise bhaag ke kyu aaye yaha..???

Naina: Umm Angel... Wo...

Veer: Wo Mumma...

This time maan asked them " Kya hua mere cuties ko..?? Kya chaiye.?? Chocolate ya ice cream..??"

Naina: Nahi Paa ye nahi chaiye...

Maan: Toh kya hua beta.. Bolo.. I will give you...

Geet: Han veer bolo kya chaiye..??

Naina and veer looked at each other

Naina: Paa meri mumma kaha hai...??? Jaise veer Angel ko mumma bolta hai.. Mein kise mumma bolu... Meine toh mumma ko dekha hi nahi humare ghar main...

Veer: Aur Mumma mere Paa kaha hai..??? Dekho na Naina Di Uncle ko Paa bolti hai.. Par mein kise Paa bolu Mumma..??? Kya mere bhi Paa hai mumma..???

Both Geet and Maan were shocked with these questions from their child... They never thought these two could come up with like these questions... They didn't know what to say... Before they could speak Naina and Veer said something which made them shocked to the core and they just kept gaping at their childs...

Naina: Paa kya mein Angel ko Mumma bol sakti hu...???

Veer: Aur Mumma kya mein Uncle ko Paa bol sakta hu..???

Naina: Bolo na Paa...

Veer hugged and said " Bolo na mumma... Aap chup kyu ho..."

Geet came out from trance and said : Veer nahi beta.. Ye tumhare Paa nahi hai... Tum aise unhe Paa nahi bol sakte...

Veer: Par kyu Mumma... Di unhe Paa keh sakti hai mein kyu nahi..?? Mein kyu uncle kahu unhe...

Geet got lil angry and said : Ek baar kaha na veer nahi bol sakte toh nahi bol sakte...

Veer started to cry... Maan took him in his arms with naina and said "Geet they are small unhe is sab ki samajh nahi hai... Kyu gussa ho rahi ho..?"

Naina: Paa Angel gussa hai mujhse bhi..??? Geet looked at her and smiled and took naina from maan...

Geet: Nahi bacha.. Mein gussa nahi hu...

Naina: Toh kya mein aapko Mumma bol sakti hu...???

Geet looked at maan.. She did not know what to say and how to say... Naina was her piya's child and she did not want naina to long for her mother... She looked at maan one more tima and said "Han mera bacha u can call me mumma"

Naina: Sachi..????

Geet: Han sachi... Naina smiled and hugged her... Geet and Maan both had tears in their eyes... But Here Veer got angry and started to shout at geet and cry...

Veer: Mujhe aapse baat nahi karni... Aapne Di ko mumma kehne diya.. Mein uncle ko paa kyu nahi keh sakta fir...???

Both Maan and geet did not know what to say and how to console veer... Naina ki baat alag thi... Piya se judi thi wo... Par Veer... how could geet let him call maan as Paa... What will her maa papa think... Maan ke parents kya kahenge...

Geet took veer in her arms and said: Veer zid nahi karte bacha... Maan tumhare Paa nahi hai... Mein kal tumhe tumhare paa se milaungi... Thik hai...

Veer looked at geet still sniffing and said: Pakka na...???

Geet: Han baba Pakka... Ab rona band karo... She rubbed his eyes... Jaao dono khelo...

Veer smiled, took naina with him and went to play again... There was akward silence for few minutes... none knew what to say... Finally maan spoke...

Maan: Geet kya tum sach main use abir se milaaogi..???

Geet: Nahi Maan... Abir humare zindagi ka hissa nahi hai... Veer ne use kabhi nahi dekha hai aur nahi kabhi dekhega... She had angry tone while saying this...

Maan: Fir tumne use jhoot kyu bola ke tum use uske papa se milaogi...??

Geet: Toh kya karti maan...??? Mein tumhe kaise...??? Log ko pata chala toh kya kahenge wo... Kis haq se maan...???

Maan: Jis haq se tumne Naina ko Mumma kehne ke liye bola... Usi haq se geet...

Geet: Naina ki baat alag hai maan... Ye tum bhi jaante ho... hume piya ne joda hai... Par veer.. Uska toh tumse koi rishta nahi hai maan...

Maan: Kya pyaar hona kaafi nahi hai geet..??? Kya sirf naam ka hi rishta chaiye hota hai..??? Pyaar ka rishta koi maayine nahi rakhta...???

Geet: Tum samajhte kyu nahi ho maan... Ye itna aasan nahi hai...??? Tumhare aur mere parents kya sochenge...??? Log ka kya kahenge maan... Bahaut se sawal uthenge maan... Kisko kisko jawab denge...

Maan: logo ke bare main mat socho geet... Wo humari zindagi sawarne nahi aayenge... Aur Maa papa samajh jaayenge... Kyu us maasoom ko jhuti tasalli de rahi ho... Kal kya kahogi use...??

Geet: Lekin Maan ye galat hai... Mein veer ko samjha dungi ke uske Paa nahi hai... Fir wo zid nahi karega...

Maan: Kaise nahi karega geet... Naina jab uske saamne mujhe paa pukaregi Kya uska dil nahi karega ke uske bhi Paa ho...??? Tab uska udas chehra dekh paaogi tum..???

Geet now had tears in her eyes... She could not see her child sad... Par Maan isse bahuat kuch badal jaayega... Hum kaise bina kisi rishte ke aise... She could not say a word further...

Maan: Toh Shaadi kar lo mujhse..??? De do is rishte ko naam taaki koi humare bacho par ungli na utha sake.. Taaki koi humare is rishte ko badnaam na kar sake.. Bolo karogi mujhse shadi..??
