Wow!! this is such a beautiful story..
I thought it would be like any other typical forced arranged marriage story.. but I was wrong..
the concept may be similar, but the way each character was portrayed & the story was build up with each chapter, it was an entirely different experience of reading..
Though, the language used for writing used was simple & straight.. not much much technicalities used..
It was still able to bring out the best of the characters..
there were no use of personification, imagery, hyperbole & god knows what.. nothing complex involved..
yet the most complex of emotions could be understood in such simplified way..
people can get connected to the story so easily, something which is difficult at times for even most polished & well written stories..
I specially liked the way you were in no hurry to start the love life of the leads & let them build it up in a steady pace.. it felt more realistic.. b'coz it's not possible to hate a person at start & then start loving them within few days just like that.. It seems illogical..
Both the leads took their time to come out of their insecurities & slowly work on their relationships..
Both had a bad past & a hell lot of painful memories to come out of, which definitely not easy..
Other characters were also beautifully portrayed.. karan's character was really justifies well.. one cannot suddenly start liking someone just after coming out of a bad relationship.. they require time..
Amelia & meera were the best supporting characters story could have.. one was crazy, other was sober.. both balanced each other hence being the best of friends geet could get..
But I felt Amelia & everyone else was forcing karan too much, which was somewhere not right..
Now that she has backed out, it will be easier for him to sort out his feeling..
dadima was the crazy old lady, who did a fairly good job in bringing maaneet closer..
Dr. Nikita was another important character, without whom it would be impossible for geet to be normal.. She gave right advice at right time & was a sorted out character..
Vikrant was too immature for his age, which is understood given him being spoon-fed all the time..
But I felt his character description was bit weaker.. he could have been introduced in a better way.. His acts could not bring out about him as well as it was for others..
Overall I loved the story very much.. it had a consistency throughout, which is sometimes lost when the stories progress..
will love to read the further chapters that are to come in future..
