When I read Sharks and seeing how Maan treated Geet in his office then at the shoe store where she worked he then seemed to be a ugly and horrible man but now reading His Anguish , how he admired Geet when he spotted her in KC and he also knew she had no idea it was his company he wanted her there yet he also wanted to punish her but doing so he punishes himself too which means though he showed her hatred his heart was still filled with love for her , learning about Geet's first pregnancy yes Maan was an emotional rack but then again its Geet that tells him the truth why she lost their first pregnancy and now that she is pregnant he cannot effort for any harm or stress to touch his wife , and its true since Geet entered KM Maan has always taken care of her though there were many times he covered it up but his love and care has always been there .

Maan also realizes that both were not at fault rather circumstances were such that lead them astray now he feels he too should introduce Geet slowly to his dark past

so its true he had always thought Radha was some guy so his possessiveness was always at peak

so the moment Maan spots Geet in his company he admires her but the fact that the need to make her suffer to break her was so high an he tricks her into signing the bond so now he has a hold on her but every time he was horrible to her he punished himself he still considered her as his Geet even when Sasha was rude to Geet he terminated her but never once letting Geet know his real feelings for her .
when Maan ased Geet to marry him at that time I thought it was for total revenge but he needed her in his lonely and dark life now he understands that both were not at fault for the separation and their wrecked lives circumstances we such and again I say they both were very young to handle te major probems that was thrown their way
you mention Maan used to shoot does that mean he used drugs for a certain phase
