hiii... me back!!!
and what a beauty this updt was Commelina... every character is as important to the story as Maan and Geet are. You cannot expect the updt to be good if and only if there is a lot of maaneet.Updates can be way beyond beautiful without them too... when each character is justified!
and this updt was exactly that!!!
I had a huge smile on my lips reading this... and it had a sense of fulfilment as in the updt had a completeness in itself.
sometimes, you need someone to talk to... they may just not solve your problems and trust me, no one will... but just talking to them makes things so much better... things get lighter and even though you don't get solution to it, you get to hear things that may help. an unbiased and disinterested point of view that could open the doors you haven't been able to see yet. and dadima was that neutral zone. the old lady had known so much and with years of experience, she knew what might be bothering her. not surprising at all!

she was right now, perhaps the best person who cold have coaxed geet to speak out what bothered her. and then bam! she touched the raw nerve! geet wants something out of this relationship... that is very clear. but then she is scared at the same time... what if he doesn't allow her to peek into his heart or that if he doesn't accept her. that is an inevtable feeling every girl has, doesn't she? bricks and walls... I so loved the title because it was justified. dadima is right... if you cannot break the wall, scale it! If you love someone and what them, you would stay and try wth all your might.

"Have you wanted anything badly?"
the question and geet's answer to it touched me deep down but you know that, don't you!
and what geet said about ego... that is so correct. everyone has an ego.. I do too. it is not in a negative sense but all of us have something or the other beliefs that we don't like being questioned. why sould I start? why can't he do that for once? why should I be the one to compromise... we all have been through that phase! but yet again, we are humans and we are bound to feel so until we find something of importance...something that is precious enough to let go of that ego. in maan and geet's case... that thing is yet to come.

one more thing... geet comparing Dev and Maan... we always have someone we wish to be like or get someone like them in our lives. that is not wrong but reality is far different. dadima yet again, was so right... we have to accept what we have and learn to value them.who knows we have found a jewel! but khair, dur se tho har cheez acchi lagti hain na😆

I loved the small small things you mentioned along with such piognant conversation. like the mango tree or the crow cawing or the simple whistle of the pressure cooker! Parwal... a summer veggie! Not one of my fav lot... I love Karela thoughh (ajeeb hain, right?)😆

p.s Jasleen dahiya has piqued my curiousity to level you cannot imagine. maan mentioning about her in the last updt and geet's insecurity about her in this... i cannot wait to know her more..
