Maan entered in room , he came and sat near her. Maan lifted her ghoonghat, kept his hand on her hands which she had kept on her knees .
Maan: I know Geet sab shayad thoda jaldbazi me hua . Tum khush to hona?
Geet nodded her head in yes. Maan smiled at her.
Maan: Geet I have a gift for you. Please close your eyes. Maan hold her hand took her toward wall
Maan removed curtain from a wall . and said her to open eyes. Geet saw the wall. There were so many photos of her , some with aman and avni. Photos of her with maan from engagement. Tear escaped from her eyes.
Maan: Kya hua Geet ? Tum ro kyun rahi ho? Tumhe ye sab achha nhi laga?
Geet: Nahi sir , Boht achha hai.
Maan: Phirse sir , kitni bar bolu Geet. Ab hamari shadi ho gai hai . Dont call me sir. Call me maan
Geet : maan... sir.
Maan: Sirf maan
Geet: Par sir main mujhe adat nhi hai.
Maan: Achha main badal deta hun tumhari adat.
Maan going more near her she was stepping backward at last she was between maan and wall. Maan kept his hands on either sides on wall trapped her betn wall and him. Geet was feeling uneasy. Maan was coming near her . There face were inches apart.
Geet said Maan and Maan smiled. Maan saw her curls touching her cheeks. He moved her curls behind her ears. Geet felt different. He cupped her face and said
Maan: Geet you are looking beautiful. You know I fell in love with your simplicity.You are so different. I love you a lot.
Geet escaped from his hold and went towards bed. Maan went near her. As he was going close to her. At last Geet stuck between him and bed post. Man made her lie on bed. Geet was quite uneasy with maan's behaviour. Maan thought " pata hai mujhe tume kaisa feel ho raha hai. But I love you. And I know you too love me . I will make you realize".
Maan : So jao Geet der ho gai hain.
Geet respect increased for him more way he understand her. Maan was moving towards couch but Geet stopped him saying she can share bed she trusts him. Maan felt happy she is opening with him. They slept maan didnt crossed his limit.
Next morning.
Maan wake up first. He saw Geet came close to him . Her hand was on his abdomen. Maan saw her face. She did movemet in her sleep maan didnt want to make her uncomfortable so pretended as sleeping. Geet wake up saw her position . She went to get fresh up. She get ready wore Green colour anarkali suit. Filled her mang with sindur. She went down. Maan wake up and sighed "thank god". Maan went to get ready.
In kitchen,
Geet did rasm of rasoi pooja with help of buaji. She made kheer. All gathered at dining table. Geet served them. Pratap praised her cooking . Gave her shagun. Buaji too. Maan said he too liked. Maan finished and was leaving in hurry.
Bua ji:kaha ja rahe ho?
Maan: office Boht important meeting hai.
Buaji: Kal hi shadi hui hai tumhari. Aaj geet ki muh dikhai ki rasm hai.
Maan: Mera jana jaruri hai. Main meeting khatm karke aa jaunga jaldi.
Buaji: Thik hai.
In evening
When function started. All ladies praised Geet and gave her gifts. Maan came from office. Ladies saw him.
One of the ladies said " Jab main rishte batati thi tab to mana kar dete the. Socha nahi tha ki tumhe kabhi koi ladki pasand aayegi."
Maan: Kya aunty aap aur buaji dono ko mujhe tang karne me kya maja aata hai kam se kam ab to mat kijiye.
He went to his room. Buaji told all to have dinner. Geet said to bua ji
Geet: Main unhe aur bachho ko bulati hun dinner ke liye.
Buaji: Waise bhi ab maan bahar nhi aayenge. Humne unhe chidhaya na . main bachho ko khana khila dungi. Tum maan ke liye le jao.
Geet took dinner for Maan and went to their room. Maan saw her she had wore red colour saree . Maan was so lost in her.
Geet: Suniye
Maan came out of his trance.
Maan: haa
Geet: Aap khana kha lijiye.
Maan: Tumne khaya Geet.
Geet:Haa bas jaa rahi hun. Socha apko dedu. Aap khaiye.
Maan: Tum jao. Main kar lunga dinner.
Geet: Nahi bua ji ne kaha hai aap jab tak pura kha nahi lete main yaha se na hilu.
Maan started eating. By mistake he ate mirchi. He coughed. And eyes were red due to it. Geet saw it he went near him and made him drink water.
Geet: Am sorry. Mujhe bua ji ne bola tha apko spices se allergy hai mera dhyan nhi raha. .
He drank water. He beacame stable. Geet came near him more. Wiped his mouth with her pallu. Geet was not unware she was so close to maan.
Maan thought" Agar aise hi karib aati rahogi na to main roj spices khaunga".
Geet realized her position. She distanced herself.
Maan: Its ok Geet main thik hun. Jao tum bhi dinner kar lo.
Geet went for dinner. She finished her work. Avni insisted her to sing for her. She cant deny. So she took Avni to her room. Maan was waiting for Geet. He tried to find Geet. He found her in avni's room. Maan thought" Geet ko mujhe waqt dena hoga. Avni too needs her". Maan went back. As avni slept. Geet covered her with duvet. Went to her room.
Geet: Wo avni so nhi rahi thi na thats why.
Maan: Koi baat nahi Geet. So jao boht der ho gayi hai.
Both lying on bed. But sleep was far from maans eyes. Soon he felt Geet movent. In sleep she moved closer to maan.She was feeling cold . Trying to seek warmth. She hold maan tightly and hided her face in his chest. Maan was taken aback but felt happy having her close to him. He to wrapped his hands around her waist and slept.
Next morning
Maan wake up first. Went for workout.Geet wake up and saw maan was not there. She knew maan doing exercise. She went and prepared breafast and coffee for him. She went to room to give him coffee. She saw maan was wearing pants and upper was bare. He just came out after bath.She closed eyes and turned her back to him.
Geet: Wo apki coffee table pe hai.
She kind of ran out.
Maan: Kitni innocent ho tum Geet.
And get ready for office.
At breakfast table.
Bua ji: Pratap main amritsar jaa rahi hun
Pratap: Kyun didi?
Bua : Meri saheli ki beti ki shadi hai. Khas hai. Bas jana jaruri hai. Maan meri jane ki arrangements kar do.
Maan: Ji bua main adi se keh deta hun.
All did breakfast. Kids left for school maan and pratap for office.
Geet was helping buaji in packing.
Bua ji: Apna aur ghar ka dhyan rakhna beta. Mujhe pata hai tum boht samjhdar ho. Par ab tum maan ki patni ho. Maan tumse boht pyar karta hai. Aisa kuch mat karna jisase wo mayoos ho jaye.Tum samjh rahi ho na.
Geet: Haa buaji.
Bua ji: Aur ek salah dena chahti hun . mere khayal se ab tum apna kam chhod do. Tum par Avni Aman ke sath sath maan ki jimmedari bhi hai.
Geet: Main samajh gayi bua ji. Aap jo keh rahe ho wo sahi hai.
Just then nakul came and said adi had came.
Bua ji: Main chalti hun beta.
Geet touch her feet and bua ji went with adi. Geet helped nakul in work. Kids came from school. Geet served them lunch.
Avni: Masi kal se humari vacation start ho rahi hai. Christmas vacation yeah.
Aman: Main dadaji ko bolunga hame kahi ghumane le jaye. Main to bor hi ho jaunga.
Geet: Par unhe boht kam hai beta.
Aman: Ok masi ab shayad bor hi hona padega.
Geet: Both of you finish lunch and take rest.
At evening,
Aman: Dadaji hamari vacation start ho rahi hai. Hume ghumane le chalo na.
Dadaji: Kaha jayenge bolo.
Avni: Aap ke sath boht maja ata hai. Aap bolo hum kaha jayenge.
Dadaji: Disneyland.
Aman: Wow dadaji aap kitne achhe ho .
Avni: Masi disneyland
Both were jumping in joy.
Geet: Dad aapko office ka boht kam hota hai Aise me aap .
Pratap: Dont worry Geet . Mujhe US jana hai deal sign krne ke liye. Kuch jyada kam nahi hai. Baki waqt main mere pote aur poti ke sath bitana chahta hun. Main bachho ka pura dhyan rakhunga. Main inke passports tayyar krwa deta hun.
Geet: Itni jaldi.
Pratap: Ho jayega. Hum aapka bhi passport banva dete hai. Hum maan se kehte hai . Hum sab jayenge . ek family trip ho jayega
Geet: Jee dad jaisa aap ko thik lage. Maan aate hi honge . Main khana laga deti hun
Geet arranged dinner. Maan saw kids very happy.
Maan: Kya bat hai aap dono boht khush lag rahe ho.
Avni: Hum ghumne jaa rahe hai.
Maan: Kaha.
Aman: Disneyland. Dada ji bol rahe the hum sab jayenge.
Pratap came
Maan: Dad actually office me work load badh gaya hai. Main nahi aa paunga.
Pratap: Thik hai.
Avni: Masi aap.
Geet: Nahi beta aap jao. Khub enjoy karo. Mujhe bhi ghar ke kam hai.
They finished dinner. Geet made Avni sleep. Came to room. She saw Maan was reading file in study.
Geet: Maan aap so nahi rahe.
Maan: Tum so jao Geet ye kam khatm karke main bhi so jaunga.
Geet slept . But in midnight she wake up she saw maan was not beside her she went to study room. She saw maan was sleeping on chair in uncomfortable position. She kept pillow under his head. And covered him with blanket
At morning
Maan saw pillow and blanket and thought " Geet ne kiya hoga she cares for me".
At breakfast table.
Pratap: Bachho.Be ready aaj evening ko hum jaa rahe hai. 7 baje ki flight hai.
Aman: Wow hum plane me baithenge avni.
Kids were so happy. Soon time pased kids left with pratap to airport. Geet was feeling bored . She went to kitchen to help nakul for dinner . They also talked about various things. Nakul told Geet about small small habits of maan.
Nakul: maan sir dil ke boht achhe hai. Aap boht khushnasib ho Aapko maan sir jaise pati mile.
Geet: Haa nakul aap sahi keh rahe ho.
