Maan was feeling very happy. At evening they came home. Maan saw bua ji and pratap talking with pandit ji.
Maan: Dad aap ye sab. Buaji.
Buaji: Shadi ki tarikh nikali ja rahi hai.

Geet felt uneasy so she left to see avni and aman
Aman: masi aap sach me shadi karna chahte ho chachu se

Engagement day,
Buaji did arrangements for geet to get ready. Parlour girls helped her to get ready. As song ended all clapped for maan for singing and their dance.
Geet felt embarassed all were looking at them. Avni came to her.
Avni: Masi aap aur chachu prince aur princess lag rahe ho.
All smiled listening avni innocent talk. Geet hugged her and aman.
Avni: Masi mujhe nind aa rahi hai.
Geet: Aapne khana khaya.
Avni: Haa bhaiya ne mujhe khana khilaya
Bua ji and pratap requested guests to have dinner Geet said buaji.
Geet: Bua ji main avni ko room me le jaa rahi hun use nind aa rahi hai.
Bua: Tumhari sagai ho gai hai . Geet kuch din bad shadi hai. Avni ko adat badlni hogi. Main use le jaati hun.
Geet: Avni jao aap bua ji ke sath main aati hun Thodi der me
Buaji took her assured she will make her sleep.
In room
Avni: Bua dadi masi nahi aayi abhi tak wo mujhe lori sunati hain

Buaji : Shukriya karne ki jarurat nhi hai. Main badlungi avni ki adat tumhe bhi samjhna hoga geet maan se shadi ke bad uska bhi khayal rakhna hai tumhe. Ab tum jao. Maan wait kar raha hoga.
Geet went down. Maan introduced her to some of his business associates.
Finally party ended. Maan said to Geet he want to meet her on terrace . Geet come to terrace Maan also come.
Maan: Geet tum khush to hona.
Geet: Haa sir main khush hun. Main aapse kaha na main ye rishta pure dil se nibhaungi.
Maan came near her . His breath was fanning on her face. Geet closed her eyes in anticipation.
Maan kissed her forhead and said her to open her. Maan arranged her curls behind her ears.
Maan: Geet main tumse pyar karta hun. Tumhare marji ke bina main aisa kuch nahi karunga jisase tumhe dukh ho. Jao so jao der ho gayi hai.
From next day preparation of marriage started.
On mehendi day,
Geet did mehendi designs. staff of the kc was present for function. Pinki was with Geet. The mehendi function went well. Geet thought to go to see aman and avni . She was going but on way her dupatta stuck in decoration and seperated from her neck. She was helpless. As her mehendi was wait. She saw maan looking at her. She turned and feeling embarassed . maan made her wear dupatta properly without making her comfortable.
Geet: Thank you sir.
Maan: Geet tum mujhe sir kehna band kar do ab hamari shadi hone ja rahi hai.
Geet: Jee sir.
Maan: phirse
Geet heard pinki calling her so she went.
On haldi day
Geet was wearing yellow suit. Girls made her sit. Applied haldi on her.

Maan: maine tumse jo kaha wo kiya na adi.
Adi: Haa sir.

Maans haldi ceremony going on. Adi handed over him memory card chip. Maan ordered.
Maan: Boht ho gayi haldi. Mujhe kam hai.
All know how maan is so they stopped. Maan went to his room . He connected the chip to laptop. He saw photo of geet with haldi , his angel.
Next day,
Maan got ready . His friends said said he is looking handsome. Maan didnt said anything.
Parlour girls made Geet ready. Geet wore maroon lehenga and green colour choli with maroon dupatta. She was looking damn beautiful.
Avni; masi aap kitne pretty lag rahe ho.
One girl said beta masi nahi ab aap inko chachi kaho.
Geet : Nahi Mujhe masi sunana achha lagta hai. Aman kaha hai.
Avni: Chachu ke sath.
Gee to herself " Mujhe bas avni ki chinta hai. "
Buaji came and said " beta boht sundar lag rahe ho "and put kajal behind her ears. Geet felt emotional hugged bua ji"
Bua ji: Ro mat tumhara make up kharab ho jayenga. .
Avni: Aap ro rahe ho main bhi ro dungi
Geet smiled.
Maan was sitting in mandap.
Buaji: Ladkiyo geet ko neeche le aao muhurat ho gaya hai. Buaji went out with avni
Geet came down with girls. Maan saw her and mesmerised watching her. Pandit ji started pooja chanting mantras guiding maan geet for vidhi.
Pandit ji: Vadhu ke mata pita kanyadan ke liye age aye.
Without second thought buaji did that
Pandit ji: vadhu ke maang me sindur bhare. Aur mangalsutra pehnaiye
Maan filled her vermillion with sindur and made her wore mangalsutra.
Pinki did gathbandhan
Pandit ji: Aap phero ke liye khade ho jaiye.
Maan and geet completes pheras and takes blessing from elders.
Pratap: Khush raho.
Buaji also blessed them. After all vidhi . Buaji did their aarti before grihprawesh. Geet with right foot made kalash push and put her feet in thal then took her right leg out first which left her foot prints on floor . grihprawesh completed. Buaji take them to pooja ghar for god blessing also angoothi rasam done which won by geet maan purposefully lost.
Pinki took Geet to maans room . Geet was surprised way it was decorated. All walls were covered with red curtains. Pinki made geet sit on centre of bed. Geet was feeling nervous .
She was remebering Avni. But remebered bua s words . she tried to calm herself. She heard noise out side her room.
Girls were not giving entry to maan. Maan told adi to give what they want . Girls asked 10000 rs. Adi gave them. Pinki said.
Pinki: hum majak kar rahe the. Aap bas geet ko hamesha khush rakhna.
Maan gave her money said
Maan: Rakho pinki ye bhi rasm hai. Main Geet ko hamesha khush rakhunga.
Geet heard sound of opening door . Got nervous.
