This story brought tears to my eyes right from the introduction of Geet till the end...It was such an emotional journey for me reading it...Until now I have not gotten over the emotional turmoil that it has brought deep within my heart...An innocent child had to bear so much from such a tender age...from the man the world called her father...a coward who could not recognise his own failure as a human being, a husband, a father and a businessman...who blamed the innocent angel for all of his own failures & loss...a heartless monster who threw a helpless innocent baby to such disgusting people in the name of a lie...that she can meet her mum...how she blindly trusted that monster and went with those unknown disgusting people...only to be betrayed...How she ran & ran asking for help...only to be turned away by a child Maan...How much she tried to run away so many times in search of her BJ...And one fine day God helped her finally escape when those evil people were planning to sell her off...Such people who indulge in such things should be burned alive including Geet's father...And luckily God gave her an elderly couple who adopted her as their own daughter...For once she savoured some happy years and moments in her life...Until a cruel accident took the life of her adopted parents and she was once again stranded alone defenseless in life...And to save herself from some vile disgusting men she ran to save her life and landed herself in such an isolated world to live...With nothing on her...With nobody to even talk to...Away from the cruel world which only gave her pain...
Destiny once again brought Maan face to face with Geet...but he never knew she was that little girl he had turned away on that day...and till today suffered from nightmares calling out to her...How selflessly Geet saved Maan's life and that drew him to her with all of his soul with such love and strength...Geet couldn't stop herself from falling in love with him as much as she knew that she would not fit in to the current material world...she tried her best to push him away...But God has his plans...The way she broke down after telling him never ever to come look for her again...if not she will leave this place and he would never be able to find her...it broke me down too...And the way she tried to come into the city to return him his wallet but the way she got looked at and treated by every single person tore my heart and I totally broke down...How she saw her BJ & yearned to run to him...but stayed away from him...only his happiness mattered to her and she was not sure how he would react seeing her in such a state too...so she thought it best to leave him to his happy life...How she was manhandled by the security who told her that Maan asked them to get rid of her...Geet was so broken that her hero could hate her so much to do that...But didn't know it was his baby...Thank god he came there on time & managed to save his baby at that juncture...
I loved the way Maan understood his baby so much from the little of her past that she told him of...He could not bear all that she had been through...and how he vowed to make her his princess...giving her all the happiness in the world...How the great MSK snuck away from his world to a world of their own...away from the prying eyes of the whole world...how much they missed each other so so much after his absence being away for his work trip abroad...gosh...the way Geet tried to surprise him by wearing the saree & accessories her got for her...and came all the way to see him...only to realise that its his birthday and got turned away as she didn't have an invitation...how she helped Dadima with her sprained foot and Dadima liked her so much...Thanks to Dadima bringing her in she got to meet her hero finally and how much they missed each other yaar...so sweet...and Maan got the best birthday present in his life...Their passionate encounter which leaves Geet baffled and confused that she runs away...And thanks to Annie emotionally blackmailing BJ using her Dora a.k.a. Geet...BJ was on the way to Maan's birthday when he finally found his long lost sister Dora a.k.a. Geet...while Geet was on her way back to her lonely world...
Geet's life changes once she is back with BJ and Annie and she tries to find a way inform her hero of where she is...Maan was frantic when he didn't find her for a few days...He mistakes the scene where he sees his baby with BJ...and when his detectives bring her to his farmhouse he learns the whole truth...so happy he is and he understands her so perfectly...that her lonely private world is only for their knowledge not anyone else...not BJ or Annie...Finally Annie and Dadima discover that Maan & Geet are in love...So cute na...the way Annie captured everything and Dadima broke the truth with evidence to the great MSK...That was so fun to see...And their journey to marriage begins...But then when Maan learns the real identity of his Geet...being that little baby girl who had asked him for help and how he turned her away...he could not stop blaming himself for the way her life had turned out...and this guilt he could not handle that he leaves the engagement...which deals a big blow to Geet...who feels betrayed once again by this humanly world...Maan then goes in search of his baby...to explain and convince her to come back...how much she loves him...but that pain of being stranded and left alone by people whom she considers her loved ones is something that was so deeply entrenched in her...and what he did to make her secure in his love...their marriage in private but legal...but as fate had it...that evil monster came back again with crocodile tears to end her life in order to get his son back...Once again betrayal, loss and pain entered his baby who was on the verge of dying...But Maan never gave up...he brought her to their own private world away from everyone...a remote world where she had lived in peace...although she was in coma Maan never gave up on their love and fought every single day to bring his baby back...And he did after a long battle of 9 months...
I am still reeling in the emotions of this story as I write this comment. Hats off Abby12 for such a deeply emotional and heartwrenching tale of Maaneet. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story. Although I was in tears from the beginning of the story...I am in love with it.
