and this is so so so true Commelina... between you and me, the title stands so apt.
And tumne tho yahan yaadon ka pitaara hi khol diya... after so many years I went back to that corner of my childhood...a girl of 6th or may be 7th class with two tiny plaits on either side of her head, I could visualize those so clearly. it was like you went inside my brain and opened one of the doors that had remained closed for such a long time. I had this happy smile reading the whole thing and then there was a bittersweet nostalgia... you know the moment when you smile and then have tears in your eyes at the same time because of the emotions you feel.. I was at that point throughtout the update.
Am yet to read the second update lekin isko padhne ke baad I had to comment. and this is going to be a long rant. tho pls bura mat manna... bore ho jaogi I know but i just had to write.
You and I come from a very similar past... at the point where once geet and ayush stood. and that touched me so much. every line of this particular update reminded me something so relatable to the story and it wouldn't come as a surprise of i say this is going to be one my most cherished update of the lot. I will say beautiful or marvellous but wo tho regular cheez hain na. tum khud hi jaanti ho tum kitni acchi writer ho... I have told you that before, haven't I?
Coming back to the update... geet's new school! I remember i was in std 5th when I came to a big city and my parents admitted in this new school where everyone spoke in english and the girls had that intimidating aura aur mujhe tho baat tak karni nahi aati thi😆 no body approaches a new student that easily. been there. done that... again!
Ayush and geet's introduction...Geet handi? as in dahi handi? I was in splits. we always did that you know. it had been so mundane then...now they have become priceless.
Hoshiyar logon ka pur😆😆 that was so witty... I laughed there too. jab meine pehli baar ye naam suna tha, i had actually opened my atlas and looked for it too. thought ke kaisa ajeeb naam hain? so i had gone back to Indian political and found out where it was. the best part was, I even sought out its std-code in the new years diary and highlighted it. crazy we are!!
p.s i have also forgotten to take atlas to school and daant bhi khayi hain but somehow i managed to hide my face and get away from punishment. *collar up*
Anganwadi?? Aur that School chale hum song... trust me, i was singing that in tune jab ayush gaa raha tha😆 **hides face** ab bhi that song in kunal ganjawala voice is still echoing in my head. such a small thing and yet you have brought it out with such ease and beauty... hats off woman! tum mahaan ho!

like i said... every line had something or the other. naina ne bilkul sahi kaha...ameer log tho hote hi khadoos hain. bada ghamand hota hain unko.I have dealt with such snobs...😡 bahut parehsaan kiya hain

meri fav thi..toral and jai bhanushali...ek dum mast... i used to come running back home from the bus stop just so that meri pehli 5 minute miss na ho jaye...
LoC with a Guy... tell me about it! when i was in std 7th tab my class teacher made me sit with a snob who knew nothing but to fight with me😡😡 he would keep his bag between us and ask me to keep my bag down...on the floor. and har baat pe mera mazak udata tha..😡😡 you mentioned that thing tho mujhe yaad aa gayi and we hated each other so much that we never saw each other's faces after we finished 7th. jaan chooti usey! he was very mean. poora year barbaad kar diya usne mera. always fighting...pulling my plaits and complaining to teacher for stupidest of things. I don;t know where he is now though😆

lekin usko bhi kya pata tha that ayush lived with such people. trust me,when he came out smiling, my heart went out to him. pls usko mat maro... show another flashback and make it good. pleaseee...
Billa and Chuhiya😆 I remember the harry potter craze then... i was too until the Goblet of fire but then I lost it. 😆 aisa lost ki ke aaj tak waapis nahi gayi Harry ke raaste😃
Back to the present...
Why do I feel that somewhere, Ayush had liked geet. its not that you-are-my-bestie like.its "like" like kind of thing. they are so so so adorable. life mein ek aise friend ka hona bahut zaruri hain...hain na?
i heard the Yaad song... and somewhere deep down, I know how Ayush feels... i will keep my mouth shut until you reveal it yourself but you know the feel, the song...it touched me somewhere and just like iam waiting for Jasleen, I will wait for Ayush too. I connected to him in perhaps ways more than one.

I told you this was going to be a long rant. But you always do that to me.. open those remote doors of my brain that had remained closed for such along time!!
