No, I am not going to act as his pankha. I love this story ka Geet. I really do. And it's obvious why she is at a bad place. But I think Maan is being thoroughly misunderstood. And I have my explanations to prove he isn't all that a bad guy but just heavily misunderstood.

I don't like if I am forced to eat a meal against my wish, poor guy is blackmailed to marry someone when he isn't ready. On top of it, he was going through such shitty time at work. Frankly, despite of all those preachings about how we should keep our professional and personal lives apart, we tend to rub our feelings in each of them. Because at the end of the day we are one and the same person aren't we?

He worked his days and nights for it, and it would hurt to see the post wasn't given to him but somebody else. At times like these if my personal life isn't going according to me I will be pissed.

Secondly well he wasn't all that social but I don't think he is being torturous to her. He saved pasta for her. He indirectly asked her why she wasnt having her dinner. Despite of that he got a tantrum saying she would rather go to sleep hungry than what he made. That was a major burn.

He never asked her to cook, do chores or even asked her to sleep on couch. Unmindful of his own actions, he gave her equal right in his room. That's something. Well maybe it seems like he meant he cares less if she works because he is indifferent to her but if he's so indifferent why take care of her ever so subtly? The food, the phone, asking her to stay indoors and everything.

He isn't all that a bad guy.
