Chapter 19 ...was being waited for so long and finally it came like a croon soothing the reader in me ...all the while i was reading myriad emotion crossed me and now n then a smile was lingering my lips. maan should have been a bit polite to her. But how did she managed with saree???
The pasta when maan was relishing his share, back in my head i was thinking ...did he saved pasta for her or reciprocating the same as the lady in bed was sleeping hard and didn't cooked. When she found the pasta, though the blant one means he cares...
maan cooking pasta reminded me of ghsp days when i imitated his pasta and fed it to my darling friend . What i got was the some indescribable expression and she warn me to cook pasta again and said only you can eat it while you watch ghsp then ur taste tastebud wont cordinate with ur mind . Though i cooked again gave it to my lovely sis
and my friend still refraining pasta with white sauce...

I really enjoyed reading your pasta experience. Trust me I've had many such experiences. Black coffee for eg.
It seems like black coffee is the secret behind all these rich heroes and so I had tried it once. It was awful !
About how she managed the sari it was just the first day ! We'll see if she continues to wear those sarees.

Mujhe laga yahaan ka raasta bhul gyi. Sab pehle wala hi hai except for The boy on the metro and the seed of doubt.
You don't need to comment on every chapter. You've already done that in the last thread na. It would be too bothersome. Isliye last wale chapter jaldi se padho and us par apne vichar vyakt karo :D

and may be of help to Geet to achieve her dreams of becoming doctor..

about Maan..after reading all the parts again, I feel..
he is reserved, unapproachable, rude...even in Tara's marriage he was not enjoying like others except the teasing and fun he had with Geet..may be someone who is mature than his age..
but he seems to be very very focused about achieving his goal..his dream to build the architect firm, may be it has a strong emotional background since it was his father's dream...

he is doing more than hardworking by putting a lot of extra hours into work so that he can cover the distance towards his goal as soon as possible..that is why he felt frustrated and tired..because he has already put a lot energy only to know he has not moved even an inch further...
only Adi is there with whom he can share his frustration..and as a good friend Adi advised him well to work smartly, to create dependency on him and to increase his job value...(Hope Maan follows and gives back his boss Hari Sadu the required meaning of his initials..:) )

much precise in his talks, as if any unnecessary words and subjects are distraction to his goal or waste of time...and if that is what he thinks then marrying someone will put additional responsibilities, when he is not well settled in terms of job and money..marriage is both distraction and overhead to his goals..

and there were instances where he did something to remove disappointment bringing smile back for others..Geet at ice cream stall in Tara's marriage, Titu in the train..Sparsh who came to repair his bike, the little girl for the selfie..
When he can connect with them within a moment..why can't he with Geet...why can't he at least make her comfortable in the new atmosphere with his words..
or the forced marriage, the hurt is fresh and there is no one else to show his anger..he cared for Geet..the pasta, ensuring she is safe..his ways are somewhat strange but he did care, his rude behavior and sarcastic tone are covering his caring side
jo bhi ho..the unpredictable personality of Maan is very interesting...hope Geet too will be able to find this other side of Maan soon...

and about Geet..most of the comments in previous thread are about her..so not repeating it..:) but one thing which I felt as a change here is that she is retorting back to Maan..and her response or reaction has gradually changed towards the retort..

First time the mosquito repellent scene..that was the first time she got the exposure to this rude Maan..

Then there was one in train journey, the hair falling on his face...was not expecting her giving him back, as I thought she is in learning and observing mode about Maan..

then the nincompoop part, where she pushed his hands away showing her silent anger..

and the last one on vampire tendencies..where she retorted him back politely..
fine, he was tired with day long work..but that does not mean he can always use this sarcastic tone with her..he definitely had not expected it coming :)

Part 19

fabulous update as usual..:)

Maan has still not come out of his hostel and bachelor life..he is treating her like his roommate whom he had to share a room..😆

what did he mean by - I am not expecting anything from you - trying to show that having married to her has not changed anything for him..but is that really true.

in a way it is good, though he is dominating sometimes, at least he made her relieved that she does have to do the house chore, other work all the time like a dutiful wife...but it did sound indifferent towards her and their marriage..anyone can feel hurt about it..

so he feels frustrated and she feels rejected all the more..and neither of them knows this state of mind of each other..

the vampire tendencies part...loved it..waiting to see the impact of this...and also waiting for the next part..
