Evening 5:30 at Handa Office
Rano entered her cabin to find Maan and Ayesha seated. "Sorry i was late. I had an urgent meeting with..."
before Rano could complete Ayesha said"Just sign the documents we are already late by half an hour.Our each minute is precious" Rano was little uncomfortable but then read the documents.
Rano looked at Maan and took out another document and gave it to him" Its about all properties in geet's name. After marriage it will legaly in your name but you dont have the right to sell till geet's child turns five"
This made Ayesha restless. She excused herself and went out. She got asthma attack. She took inhaler and inhaled with time her breath became normal. She messaged maan she is leaving and left.
Meanwhile in the room Maan read the documents and signed it. Rano was uncomfortable. "Will you keep my daughter happy?." Rano's question made maan confused. "Almost the deal is signed and you are asking this now?...it doesn't matter now..deal is all signed.I got to go"
Both got up.Maan was about to open the door."You didnt give my answer. Promise me you will keep her happy."Rano said..Maan looked up and said"I dont give promise if I am not sure"he said and left.
Thud!! sat Rano in her seat. She lost it. She couldn't understand was she right or wrong.
Rano was leaving the office premises when she saw a couple with a girl ..a small cute family. She remembered her life. So many ups and down. It was difficult for a 14 year old girl to accept that her own family sold her to a 55 year old Mr Handa for few thousands.
But she was lucky enough to find a good friend, philosopher and a lover in that old man who married her and brought to Delhi. Mr Handa truly loved Rano. Life was so bliss for Rano until geet turned three. Sudden death of Mr Handa made Rano to come out of heaven she lived in to a hell where everything was measured with money.
With time she became a shrewd businesswoman who could within seconds judge a person. But failed to judge first time- MAAN SINGH KHURANA.
One month back
Sanjeevani Hospital, Delhi
Doctor: Sorry mam there is no other way than surgery for this in your case. Its last stage. Your heart is very weak. Only an operation can help that too just 10% chances of survival.
Rano was totally numb after hearing this. She left hospital only to find Maan and Savitri Devi at the parking lot. The way Maan was taking care of his daadi amused her. Rano always heard about Maan as a ruthless businessman but the way he took care of his daadi changed Rano's view about Maan.
She knew she had very less time. She had to take care of two things geet's future and handa company's future. Rano knew geet was just her replica. She found that 14year old Rano in geet. That was not less than a nightmare for Rano.
She was afraid if geet would be able to cope with this environment. That was when she decided to find someone who can take care of this company and also marry geet. At the same time Rano met Maan officially for a deal. The way he deal with people, his step sister Ayesha all made Rano amused. She found Maan perfect for geet. He knew buisness and respected relations. No girlfriends or one night stands heard about Maan.
Maan's clean image both in personal and professional life made Rano to decide this. Rano presented this as a business deal in front of Maan.
He too accepted it without any problem.
Rano proposed the deal just a week ago. Papers were made ready to transfer many shares on Maan's name. Rano noticed one with time, Maan never asked anything about geet. Today when geet showed her trust on Rano she realised that she had actually made a blunder which can most probably ruin geet's Life.
But everything has been decided. If she steps back now it can kill the mere chances for geet's better life. Maan can ruin them to such an extent that it would be a dead end for geet. Rano never wants that to happen.
Shergil House
As soon as Ayesha reached home she stood under the shower. Rano's words still ranged in her mind.First the proposal by Mrs Handa. Then Maan's acceptance. Now kid. "if Maan will have a family..My plan will get ruined. No Maan cant be happy. He has to rotten in the whole life." Ayesha screamed.
Ayesha was happy with her small family- Sanjay Pammi and Dada & Dadi . Though Daadi and Pammi had small fights now and then everything was normal. Ayesha was around six when Pammi and Sanjay fought on something and Pammi left the house along with Ayesha.
After around 1 and a half year Pammi with Ayesha came back to Mansion only to find Sanjay married with Savita and a few months old Maan. Seeing this Pammi commit suicide leaving Ayesha with rage. Ayesha was left in boarding school. Only after the death of Sanjay and Savita ayesha was brought back to the mansion.
Though Ayesha never shown any anger on Maan and Vicky. With time Maan's resembelence with Sanjay made her hate Maan. On the other hand Maan and Vicky respected her. She knew she will lose her power in khurana house once Maan gets settled or even fall in love. She knew a girl always had power to change men.
And here from childhood Maan longed for love. She showered Maan with fake love. She became his mentor. She turned Maan into a ruthless businessman. His arrogant nature kept girls away from him. Girls who approached him were just behind his money. He started running away from them.
Ayesha planned it very well. She knew Maan will never think about marriage. After an age it would become difficult to find a true life partner. But now everything is slowly going out of hand. Maan will marry.
I have to plan something. Ayesha spoke to herself
Maan reached KM at night. He found dadi sitting in the hall with closed eyes. He came and sat near her. Dadi Savitri got up at once and sais Maan plz dont do this beta...Maan got upDadi plz...I told before itself. You too wanted me to ge married then why creating so much problem for all of us?
Maan bete, Shaadi ka matlab ek signature ya kuch rivaajon ko pura karna nahi hota...woh saath hota hai do logo ka zindagi bhar ka..apni aaakri saason tak ka.kuch zameen aur kagaz ke tukdon keliye apni zindagi ke saath mat kheliye.."
Maan rolled his eyes and went to his room.
He freshened up and called Ayesha.
Di how are you...you went without telling me? You switched off your mobile too Maan was really worried for her.
Maan.. relax! Iam fine...i had an headache so thought to take some rest...itna pareshan hone ki zaroorat nahi... Ayesha could feel Maan's love for her but all the doors towards those brotherly feelings were long ago shut by herself.
Ayesha just closed her eyes and asked Maan to go to sleep.
In handa haveli
geet stood there with a mehendi cone in her hand. She wanted to put mehendi afterall its her MARRIAGE.
Kya naam hai unka her eyes twinled with the last word. Baut again a fear came into her mind. Babaji, mein jaanti hoon ki mama mere liye jo bhi karegi usme sirf aur sirf meri bhalayi hai par kya karoon mann bohot ghabra raha hai!!!!
