The D day
Khurana Mansion
Ayesha entered KM to see Savitri Devi all ready to attend Maan's marriage.
"I thought you wouldnt come after all you feel all this wrong"
"What to do.. when my children are always surrounded by a venomous snake i have to be with them."
"dont you think this snake quality i would have inherited from my beloved grandmother?" Ayesha smirked.
Before Savitri could say something Ayesha left to Maan's room.
Maan was ready wearing casuals. "Maan i know this marriage is not so important for you...but you cant wear this right?
Maan smiled" who said i dont have importance for marriage? Meri sherwani aati hi hogi" loking Ayesha's confused face"I may not be in love with my would be wife but sure i have her responsibility. I think thats the main idea of these things... right di?"
Ayesha skipped few heartbeats. Shock is very small word to describe her. Ayesha was numb. "You hate girls right" Maan said "come on di aap bhi ladki ho...do i hate you?...i hate girls who just throw themselves on anyone for money and publicity." Di" Maan turned back only to find Ayesha having an asthama attack. Maan took out inhaler from the purse and put into her mouth. when her breath became normal Maan gave her a hug.
Maan thought Ayesha would be overjoyed with his confession the actual reason by known only by her.
Maan layed her on the bed and called dadi. Now both maan and dadi were besides Ayesha. Maan bete, meine aapke kapde apke room mein rak diye hai. Go and get ready"
After making sure maan left the room savitri said" Ayesha tumhari tabyat achanak kharab kyun hogayi? Kai maan ne apne future plans apko bataaya toh nahi na?"
Ayesha turned pale.
Yesterday night
After Maan called Ayesha dadi entered her room"Dadi plz...dont start it again"
Savitri started crying. Maan got worried and sat beside her" Maan aapko yeh deal karni hai to kariye par cant you give a chance to this marriage?" before Maan could say something dadi said" Kal aap saath vachan denge uss ladki ko jiske baad woh aapki ardhangini kahalayengi. Your better half...Maan mein aapko unhe puri tarah apnane kabhi nahi kahhungi but aap ek mauka zaoor de sakte haina is rishtey ko? plz maan do this much for me...
Savitiri faced back maan and said" aapki Ayesha di bhi yahi chahti hain na ki aap kush rahe... Agar mere liye naa sahi toh think about her agar tum khush nahi rahoge to woh apne life mein kaise kush reh payegi? Aap ek mauka dijiye iss rishtey ko.. kya pata yeh ladki aapke liye hi bani ho? plz maan think about it."
Maan thought whole night only to decide dadi is right. he was ready to give a chance to this marriage.
At present,
Ayesha was just looking at savitri as of savitri have two heads. "Ayesha aap sahi keh rahi thi...aap hum par gayin hain... i am not venomous like your mom or you but i am sure you inherited that shrewd nature from me only. So its clear hum aapki dadi hain aapse do kadam aage. humein apni baat manvana zaroor aata hai.I challenge you... i will throw you out of Maan's life. And i know to tackle this Ms Handa if she comes out a threat if not then I would help her to make this house a home cleanig all dirt out of our lives"
Ayesha thought "I have to plan something as fast as possible."
At Handa Haveli
"you look beautiful " Rano said to geet. "beta never take me wrong. i know this sudden marriage would have made you confused even doubt our relation but believe me its for your good. hum aisi jagah fasgaye hain jaha peche khai hai aur aage kya hai yeh sirf waqt bata sakta hai."
Maa apko mujhe safayi dene ki kya zaroorat. I am sure ki aapne jo bhi faisla liya hai woh meri bhalayi ke liye hai." geet was very tensed from inside but had to keep a smiling face for Rano. She knew there something that is bothering rano for last few weeks. There is definitely some reason for her marriage all of a sudden. Rano hugged geet one last time and both left to the temple.
At Khurana Mansion
Maan was already for his wedding. Dadi was at cloud nine. At least maan called it wedding than a mere deal now. She was sure that somewhere destiny too want this marriage to happen.
All the time ayesha was fuming from inside. only she knew her turmoil. But seeing Ayesha fume dadi wanted to do bhangda but controlled herself. Maan bete kuch rituals hain jo bahu ke grahapravesh ke baad kerna hai. can i do it?
Maan cupped dadi's face"Dadi aapko puchne ki kya baat hai. yeh aapka ghar hai aap jo chahiye kar sakti hain"
Dadi " Bete yeh rituals apko bhi karna hai." Maan just looked amused at her. before he could say any excuse Savitri emotionally blackmailed" aapne dadi saans banne ki kushi kisise baatne tak nahi di...koi rasam rivaj bhi nahi kiye hain jo karna zaroori tha ab kamse kam bachi kuchi chizen toh karne dijiye" Before dadi tells something else Maan just said yes and left. You know what you have just one way to make others do what you want- emotional blackmail. Ayesha said only to be snapped by daadi Apke mama se sikha hain. waise maanana padega it works all time. The ladies too left.
At the temple
Rano stood there with geet. geet's heart was beating fast. babaji mujhe bohot bechaini horahi hai.
A bmw stopped. There entered Khuranas into the temple. Pandit ji asked to hide geet's face as brides aren't supposed to show their face to the groom before marriage. Geet saw Maan from a distance. She felt as though she had seen her somewhere but don't know when and where. Before she could think much dadi came to her and saw her."You are very beautiful bete. Hum apke dadi saas hain" Geet bend down to take her blessings. She thought "I just hope yeh pammi ya Ayesha jaisi na ho"
"Maji mein Rano Geet ki Ma" Savitiri's face fell. She thought "how can she just fix her daughter's marriage with Maan in three days when all say that he is ruthless. It cant be for money as they too are rich..." Savitri dont know but without thinking she asked Rano"Aap Geet ki sauteli Maa ho?" Rano just looked shocked" "Ji..Nahi" Savitri said a sorry and went to see other preparation. Rano was confused and thought to ask her later about this. She looked back to geet but found her missing.
She started searching her only to find her talking to some kids who looked very poor. Geet was distributing some sweets to them. Rano smiled at her.
Maan who was attending a call saw a girl in bride's dress talking to some kids. He understood she is Ms Handa but couldn't see her face. Don't know why but wanted to see her face. He was walking to geet when again a call came and became busy again.
Ayesha was thinking about today morning incidents. Pandit called the families and started the rituals. Maan was most of the time busy with his mails in mobile.
"Babaji dekho na yeh toh mobile mein busy hain. Koi shadi karte waqt aisa karta hai kya. Kya yeh bhi maa ke tarah 24*7 sirf kam mein busy rahenge...Plz kuch karo na...sabse pehle mujhe inka naam puchna hoga. Kya geet tu bhi na. woh kya sochenge ki mujhe unka naam bhi nahi pata or maine shaadi keliye haan kardi...babaji kuch karo na" Savitri Devi who sat besides geet heard this cute conversation between babaji and geet "Are Maan bete yeh kya mobile pe se nazar tak nahi hata rahe ho. Aapne toh Khurana parivar ki naak kata di. Dijiye mobile hume." She took the mobile with answering geet's question." Geet looked at dadi only to find her wink at her. Rano was all time thinking if she did right or wrong.
Pandit asked to take seven wows and asked Maan to put sindoor on geet's forehead. Maan got first glance of geet's face. He stood mesmerized for a second but then gave attention to what pandit was telling.
All time geet kept looking down as if the floor was the best craft done by someone in the whole world.
Maan tried to see geet's face again but veil was again pulled down by dadi declaring that it can be seen only after muhdikhayi rasam by others.
