For a second geet was starled with the intensity of his voice n the anger in his eyes ..but she didn't showed it on her face ,...the flash of fright disappeared from her face just as he left her hand jerking her slightly away .. n she smiled at him very sweetly ..
I'd like to see that Mr.Maan.Singh.Khurana ...😛
N she left the room chuckling ..while maan grabbed the jar from the coffee table n smashed it hard on the floor ..

Everyone was waiting for maan at the lunch table when he entered in geet's room to search for the main gate's keys ..n as expected he found it thr in her washroom's cabinet ..maan thought how lame n predictable she could be in this regard ..but he was happy that now he would be able to get to his office n prove that over confident geet handa that she can't control MSK ...her confidence pissed him royally n he couldn't take sitting in the house another minute ..smiling at his victory he went down all dressed for the office ..when aniee was the first one to stood up shocked ..

Geet sat thr smirking ..n when he said ..
N geet try finding a better place to hide the keys next time ..it was too easy to guess ..i m sorry ..
She couldn't stop grinning ...but never stood up to look at him ..he would guess her trap for sure then ..n thinking she is frustrated at her defeat he went away smirking while aniee came back to the table huffing ..

Geet instantly held her smile n tried to look frustrated ..

N a siister smile came on her lips ..n she finished her lunch ..this was probably her last meal in KM ..or so she wished ..!!

It was probably her luck that dadi maa was called for a meeting at her NGO this evening n aniee was the only one home along with her ..n ofcourse it wasn't difficult making her agree to let her go to get her things from handa haveli ..aniee wasn't that sharp to understand once in the handa haveli geet won't be allowed to come back to KM be4 marrying maan ..n that was her plan ..sending away maan n now going out of KM would make her able to get back to Mumbai ..back to her house ..where tej veerji would be able to handle things better ..n then they could think about how n when they can tell everything to maan ..ofcourse at some point they would have to tell him .. but just when would be the right time that Sukhlal Handa won't get a whiff of it ..surely maan's reaction to the truth is the biggest concerns right now ..which is why she can't afford to tell him the truth being in KM ...
Aniee was chewing on her nail in tension may be she did the right thing letting geet go to get her things ...or may be nt ..she should hv asked maan bhai first but then geet isnt a prisoner here that she would need any permission to go out besides she was going to get her things from handa haveli that wouldn't be a problem but still now that she has stepped out of the house aniee is feeling so much anxiety even after giving her numerous reason as to y geet had to go n she did the right thing ...yet
here out side KM
standing outside KM geet looked at the house ...the sun was setting behind it giving it a divine look ..the white of the mansion looked so majestic at this hour but the beauty wasnt the reason y geet couldn't look away from the royal mansion but those memories associated with this house made her stop n look at it for one last time coz for all she know she may not ever get the chance to come back again ..the tears glistened her eyes n involuntarily a sob left her throat n she said Sorry ...
Sorry for all the bitterness she is leaving here ..sorry for lying to sweeto ..sorry for hurting maan ..sorry for not being able to face it anymore but most of all sorry for breaking her bade papa's promise ..🤢
Closing her eyes geet sighed n exhaled to control herself n make herself move away from thr ..gathering herself she opened her eyes n was about top turn when a voice startled her ..froze her ..she knew who is that ...
she knew it too well but her mind couldn't accept the fact it could be him .. Every inch of her prayed that this is a dream or she is guessing it wrong .. She closed her eyes the tears gathering again this couldnt be true her heart pleaded ..she couldnt face him ..after all the problems she has caused them she cant stand in front of them ..but guess today wasnt her day ..the person knowing this kiddo stepped forward n put a hand on her shoulder n made her turn to him ...
Geet ...
Geet clutched her eyes tight n bent hr face down she didnt had the courage to look up to his face .. She has done so wrong to them ..thr is no way she can justify her childishness her foolishness ..she failed in every relationship ..n now how can she even look into his eyes ..the guilt would kill him ..clutching her fist tight almost peircing her nails into her skin she stood trying not cry but the person knew how to melt her ..he looked at her with all his love n bent down whispering in her ears ..
Gudya ..ek baar ankhen khol kar dekhegi bhi nhi apne bhai ko ..
She couldnt control herself anymore .n she hugged him tight ..

Prem had a delighted smile on his face as he engulfed her in his brotherly embrace n a tear slipped from his own eyes ...it took him 2 damn years to be able to face her .. To gather enough courage to come back n knit the torn pieces of thr life together ...
Geet controlled her silent sobs n wiped her tears n broke the hug first n stood looking down as if the ground was the most interesting thing in the world ..trying to formulate something akin to words ...
