PART 1. FROM WHERE IT ALL STARTED!
Maan knew that he was seeing an angel, the moment he saw her. Looking like an apsara from heaven, she descended from the stairs and Maan felt his breath hitch! His heart came up to his mouth the moment her eyes met his and he knew; he knew that his whole life was going to change from the very moment. One glimpse of her and he was lost to the world. He continued to stare as she passed by him. She did not notice him as she walked by him but smiled at his brother standing nearby. Maan frowned; Dev ko smile aur mujhe dekha bhi nahi? Maan felt hot jealousy bubble inside him and he had to remind himself that Dev was in love with NT and not with the angel who passed by him. Mesmerized by her beauty and her smile, Maan asked Dev about her only to come to know that she was Geet, NT's cousin sister!
Geet! What a beautiful name! Maan absentmindedly noted as he stood staring at her. Suddenly, Geet came towards him and before he could move she grabbed Dev's hand and dragged him to the middle of the room. Maan was stupefied as Geet teased and coaxed Dev into singing a song. It was Dev and NT's sangeet and Geet wanted Dev to sing for NT. Dev shied to sing in front of so many people at first but after getting a loving glance from his future wife, he took the mike from Geet's hand and started crooning.

Maan stared at Geet as she clapped eagerly for Dev.

He observed as Geet dragged NT to the middle of the room and made her stand beside Dev.

Geet danced in front of him all the while smiling at him.

Her eyes, her smile mesmerized him as they continued to dance oblivious to the whole world.

"Maan beta! Kahaan kho gaye aap?", Daadima tapped on his shoulder and Maan came out of his thoughts only to be shocked as he noticed that he was still standing in the corner of the room while Geet danced with others in the middle. It was all his imagination! His imagination! Yeh mujhe kya ho raha hai? Maan wondered.
Daadima's repeated tapping on his shoulder brought Maan out of his shock and he looked at Daadima in confusion, "Haan Daadima!" Daadima frowned, "Kahaan kho gaye aap beta?" Maan fumbled for a while but managed to reply, "Ek... Meeting ke bbbaare mein soch raha tha!" The moment the reply was out of his mouth, he stormed out of the room. Daadima pouted, "Kya Maan beta aap bhi! Khayaalon mein bhi meeting hi aati hai aapko?" She huffed and walked away. If only she knew what Maan was thinking!
