Right now, he might not have any motive at all, regarding getting Geet's love or showing how bruised his ego was by her denial. But yes, his ego was definitely bruised and that leaves a bitter taste which will come out soon, if not now...
You're right, Geet's feelings are not, at this point, so strong for her to think she loved him or missed him. She is at a point where she knew she made a wrong decision and she regretted it but she is past that phase.
You made me laugh with that last paragraph of yours. You can be sure of one thing in this typical college infatuation story. The guy will only become daddy to the girl's children, not the mamaji. 😳
