Mission Impossible: The Don n The Diva

Chapter 6

Maan went home and he didn't feel like eating, so he went to his room and he changed into his marital arts practice costume and went towards his practice room, and he calmed his mind and stood there ready to do his action arts, but as soon as Maan calmed his mind and made it to concentrate, all his mind could see was Geet, Maan shook his head and tried to do his acts ignoring his mind voice.

Maan's mind again and again going around her "Do I look like an monster to you,", "No sir, you are looking handsome", the way Maan held her hand and the way she looked at him, her eyes was shining like an golden ocean and he could see an pain in those eyes and it troubled him, her closed didn't make him uncomfortable, for the first time, he felt comfortable with the closeness of a girl, it felt familiar and he liked it, which was wrong according to him,

Maan totally lost his control and stopped his stunts, "What's happening to me, why I am getting disturbed thinking about that girl, whom I met just today, and why am I feel so much of emotions towards her, even if I try, I can't get her out of my mind, her calmness, her nonstop nonsense talk, her closeness, everything is disturbing so much, why, this had happened never before," Maan thought as he was holding his head,

"No, No, I can't feel like this towards her," Maan thought and his minds pulled back in to his past, reminding of something he did, something he loved, his only happy moments in his life, "Warrior", his sweet little angelic girl come towards him crying up when Maan was sitting on a stone bench on a shinny evening, "what happened Choti Rani," he asked,

"Oh today in our school there was story telling class, and my teacher told an story of an great warrior, a Dragon warrior living in a small village and he na, saved a princess from the bad guys and married her and become the king of her kingdom and she become his queen, she lived in her place even then and never returned to his village" she said crying up, Maan was so confused, and don't know what's wrong with the story, "so why are you crying, Choti Rani" Maan asked,

"O, you too are an warrior right, and so one day you too will marry some princess and will go to her kingdom, leaving me, na, My friends to said like that only" she said with tears and Maan felt like laughing out loud, "Look, don't cry, I don't like crying, you know that right, if you cry like this then I will not talk to you anymore," Maan said,

She wiped her tears away and looked at him with her teary eyes, "ok, I will not cry if you promise me, that you will wait like this even, until I grow up, and you should marry me only, and you will not go away from me anywhere," she said weeping up shocking Maan, "Marry you, where do you kids get this kind of talks and ideas, look it's not good to speak like this, you are still kids na," Maan said a bit serious and she started crying more,

"Hey, don't cry, you are good girl na," Maan said wiping her tears and pulled her and made her to sit on his lap and she immediately pulled her hands around his neck and clinching to him, "I won't cry, but promise me, you will marry me, or else I won't stop crying," she said in her sweet voice warning him and Maan looked at her face looking at him, "what am I going to do with this kid," Maan thought shaking his head,

"I know, you will go away from me, you don't like me at all," She cried aloud jumping from his lap and turned around and stood there crying, Maan smiled and stood up and pulled her up and made her to stand on the rock bench, so she can be equal to his height and she was looking down crying up, Maan pulled her face up and wiped her tears away, "Ok, I will marry you, only you, Happy now, please don't cry Choti Rani" Maan said with a grin,

And she looked up at him still weeping, "what I told you na," he said, and she took his hand and lifted it up with her two little hands and kept on her head, "Promise on me," she said and Maan felt trapped now, how could he make an fake promise that to upon a small kid like her, "look here Choti Rani, this is not right, ok," Maan said slowly pulling his hands away from her head, "you are just an kid ok," he said slowly and the girl started weeping again,

She jumped down the stone bench and started running away, "Choti Rani," Maan called but she was gone, "God, what all this girl's mind is thinking, what to do with her," Maan thought and that day went away and the night was sleepless night for him, he felt an guilt and worried too because he knew how stubborn his little queen was, The next day too started, and was going on and in the evening, Maan walked towards his friend's house, and saw Choti Rani's brother, and went towards him, "Ranveer," He went before him, "what are you doing here" he asked slowly and he seemed so sad, "Ranveer, any problem," he asked and he started crying up,

"Ranveer, what happened," Maan freaked out, "Don't know Maan, it's my sister," he cried and Maan got really tensed now, "Choti Rani, what happened to Choti Rani," Maan asked worried, "Don't know Maan, Yesterday evening she came up crying and went to her room and was crying high, when I asked her she didn't say anything and Maa too asked her but she didn't say a word and she was crying all night, and not stopping for whatever we say or do, and we don't know why she is crying too, and she didn't eat anything from yesterday evening and so she got high fever now, and she is still crying"

"What to do Maan, seeing her like that Maa is also crying, and her fever is raising up as she is not stopping her tears, and you know about Papa right, he doesn't even care about the family a bit all he needs is money and," he stopped and looked at Maan " now Ratan Ji came and checked her, and said that she will give some medicine so only came with her," he said and before he could continue, Ratan ji came out with a small paper pouch,

"Ranveer, make her stop crying and give her some liquid food, you can't give these medicines in the empty stomach, atleast force feed her and then give her this medicine, if she didn't take this medicines then you have to take her to the city hospital, as her health is so weak and it might turn dangerous," She said and went away and Ranveer cried up and Maan was standing there, burning with an feel of guilt, it's all because of me, he thought and it killed him,

"Ranveer, can I come with you, I will talk to Choti Rani," Maan asked and Ranveer happily nodded and they both rushed to the Handa Mansion, "Ranveer, what Ratan ji said," his maa asked as she saw him and Maan, "Rani Maa, can I go and see Choti Rani, I will talk to her, she will listen to me," Maan said coming forward, knowing how much she loved Maan, Rani maa too said an ok, "Go Beta, do something and convince her" she said

Maan then rushed upstairs and went towards her room, and she was laying on the bed, facing the roof, her eyes closed but the tears were still escaping from her closed eyes, Maan's heart pained see her like that, he don't know what to do with this crazy kid, Maan slowly went near her and saw her worn out face and her messy hair, Maan slowly touched her cheeks and he could feel the high heat of the fever burning her skin,

She was so weak, her fever was so high that she wasn't even able to feel his touch, Maan's eyes looked at her who was Crazy for him, he thought for a minutes looking at her, Kid or grown up, he thought, no one could love him like her, and be crazy like this, and he felt responsible somehow, "Ok, I will make her the promise, if I make that promise only I will be bounded to it na, only I should not break the promise na, but she can marry anyone when she wished too, only I can't marry someone else na, no problem, I can live like that," Maan thought,

"Choti Rani," Maan called and his voice made her to opened her eyes, which was red and weak with the non stop crying, and she turned her face away seeing him, "why did you come here, when you don't like me," she said and Maan smiled and shook his head, "who said I don't like you," he asked and she looked at him with her innocent face, "you don't like me, that's why you didn't promise na," she said,

And Maan pulled her up and held her close to his heart, and he could felt that she was burning, "Now who said I won't promise, you only ran away from there, before I could say anything," he said and she looked at his face and pulled from him and sat up, "Choti Rani, how will I ever say no to you," Maan said wiping her tears away, "Then you will Marry me ah," she asked eagerly with a sweet and sour voice which was damaged by the crying and fever,

And she took his hand and kept on her head, "Promise," she asked, "Yes, I promise, I will marry you, only my Choti Rani," Maan promised with his true heart, and she smiled big and hovered over him and held his neck with her little arms, "Thank you Warrior, now you won't go anywhere from me, and you will always be my Warrior," she said and Maan held her tiny figure and pampered her, "yes, I will always be your Warrior, and you will be my only Queen," he said closing his eyes,

Maan opened his eyes and he was standing in the middle of his Practice hall, "A Promise is a promise, no matter how or when you made it, and I will not break that promise, I made on her, her love for me was pure, and god given gift, I could live with it, I am living in this hell with an hope that one day I will find her, and find that she is happy and there will be no girl in my life except her, that sweet angelic kid will always be in my heart and will be my queen," Maan decided and walked away to his room,

The morning was nice and shining, Geet got ready and she was with an clear head today, "Breej sir is right, the sooner I get close to him, the sooner I can know the truth about Maan sir, it might be against him or in favor of him, that's another thing, first I will get close, and that will be my mission's first step and to do that I need to know something about him, his likes and dislikes, anything, until now, I knew only one thing that he loves his work, but should find more,"

Geet took her bag and started to trip and as she reached the Office she saw Pinky already on her desk, "Good morning Pinky," Geet said and Pinky smiled big, "Good morning Geet," she said in a cheerful voice, "Pinky can I talk to you for a minute," Geet asked as she stood at her desk, "Sure, you go to your cabin, I will be there in a minute," Pinky said arranging some files and Geet nodded and went to her cabin,

And Pinky came in a minutes and saw Geet thinking something, "Oie, what happened," Pinky asked and Geet nodded a nothing, "Oie Geet, first I am sorry yar, yesterday I went away as usual and forget that you are new here, I should have stayed back na, sorry yar," Pinky said with a sad face, "Don't take me bad," Pinky added and Geet held her hand, "No Pinky, it's ok, and good that you didn't wait, my job over only after 10.00"

"What 10.00, my god, then you would not have get any Taxi too na, how did you go home," Pinky freaked out, "Pinky, that's what I need to ask, but don't say this to anyone," Geet said and kept her bag on her table and pulled pinky close, "o, yesterday night I waiting for the taxi in the first street," Geet said and Pinky freaked out, "Oie, that's an dangerous street at night, and the taxi stand is behind our office building, why did you go to that street, nothing happened right," Pinky asked and Geet calmed her down,

"Pinky please, how would I know where the taxi stand is, and don't worry nothing happened," Geet said and Pinky looked at her puzzled, "Then how did you go home," Pinky asked, and Geet paused for a second, "O, O, actually, Boss came on that way and saw me standing there and he dropped me in my home," Geet said and Pinky was looking at her with her wide eyes, "What, Dhak, Dhak sir, gave you lift,"

Geet nodded a yes and Pinky smiled big, "Oie, lucky girl you are Geet, OMG, who would get such an chance, you and Boss in same car, Oie, Geet Congratulation, it's a history," Pinky smiled big jumping up, "Why Pinky, Boss never did this kind of help to anyone," Geet asked surprised, "Help, if someone asked him help na, then that's all he would bust out in anger. He would always say "The only person who can help you in your troubles is you, and no one else can, so find your own way," Pinky quoted Maan's words,

"But I didn't ask his help, he knew that I was new, and it was so late and I don't know the area and I was standing alone, and if something happens to me, than his concern's name will be affected na, so may be because of that," Geet explained to Pinky and to herself, "May be," Pinky nodded, "But whatever it is, you are so lucky, you and boss was sitting together ah," Pinky asked, and for no reason Geet felt like blushing up,

"Pinky, stop it and don't say this to anyone ok," Geet said and Pinky nodded an ok, "and Pinky one more thing can I ask you," Geet asked and Pinky nodded a ok, "oh," Geet stopped, how will ask her this, what will she think, but who else I can ask, she is the only friend here," Geet thought, and decided to asked her...
