Geet too started to work as Maan was working in his cabin, the time passed by and all her works too got completed and she looked into Maan's cabin who was still working with the same serious way, so Geet decided to wait and she was feeling hungry too as the time passes, she thought to ask him but he had given strict instruction not to disturb him and Geet wasn't ready to get anymore yelling today from him,
Geet leaned her head back in her chair and closed his eyes, "Baba ji, it's seems like an never ending day, and I am hungry too, is he a human or not, doesn't he feel hungry or tired, one day with him seems like an year, how am I going to work for him, impress him, making him fall for me, which seems like an impossible thing, as he is already hating me, Baba ji, help," Geet thought closing her eyes, and don't know when she slept off,
Maan finished his works and packed his things and looked at his clock, it was beyond ten, and he turned to see the light in Geet's cabin's "Damn, I almost forgot that the girl is here, and it's too late," Maan thought as he walked to her cabin and as he enter into her cabin he stopped at what he saw, Geet was sleeping peaceful, breathing in rhythm and smiling in her sleep, so calm, her innocent face attracted him like an Magnet,
Maan walked slowly towards her, somehow he doesn't want to disturb her sleep, don't know why but this peaceful calm face reminded him of someone he loved, and it gave a grin on his face, he saw a cluster of her front hair disturbing his vision and so he slowly went towards her and carefully pulled away those hairs disturbing his vision and tagged it behind her ears without disturbing her sleep,
Maan then leaned down to touch her face, but stopped as suddenly something clicked in, what am I doing, she, I mean, she, Maan stood away and looked at her and he felt tensed, and so he closed his eyes and relaxed, then he looked at her and he slowly patted her shoulders, "Geet," he called but she didn't wake up, "Geet," he called a bit loud but there was so reaction, "What the hell," Maan thought,
"Geet," he shouted into her ears, scaring her and she freaked out and stood up hitting on Maan and Maan held her shoulders stopping her from falling back, Maan held her close and Geet who was closing her eyes due to shock, slowly opened her eyes to capture those dark eyes shining and staring at her and she felt like she is been dreaming, Maan heart started to beat fast and so as Geet, he was feeling nervous and his emotions was hovering up in his heart,
Geet too looked at him and she felt an strange feel of happiness which she haven't had for a long time, hold her in his hands and looking at her wanting face, he wanted to hugs her and held her close to him and his heart carved for it, so as Geet, Geet too wanted to hug him and pour her heart out, Maan tighten his grip as he tried to control his thoughts, which made Geet wince in pain and Maan saw that and pulled to reality and let her go and turned around, for an minute both stood in silent,
Finally Geet broke the silent, "Sir," she called and Maan turned towards her with his anger self covering him again, "Geet, this is office, not your bed room, you work here and not sleep," Maan yelled up, "Sir, I am sorry, o, I finished my works and I was feeling hungry too, so I think slightly I slept off," Geet said slowly, "Slightly", Maan asked grinning and turned around holding on to the table,
"And if you had finished your works, you didn't you tell me, that your work is over and go home, eat or sleep or do whatever you want" Maan yelled again, "O, because you only said not to disturb you and also no one should ask you any questions', then how will I ask you, so thought I will wait until you ask me to go," Geet and Maan looked at her, and turned around, "I didn't say that you should not ask permission, I just said no direct question about what I do,"
"Anyways, it's beyond your brain leave I guess, now go home," Maan said and Geet too nodded and went away, and Maan too got his things and went down and his body guards were standing there and his Driver ran towards him and got his briefcase and opened the car's back door for Maan and Maan too sat in, he looked outside and it was pitch dark, "hope that girl goes home safely," Maan thought and was surprised by his own thought,
"Why the hell am I thinking about her," Maan thought and looked front. Geet was standing on the road, waiting for a cab, "what's this, it's getting late and I am not getting any cab here, Baba ji, and I feeling hungry and it's so dark, it's just 10.30, where are the people, why is the street deserted," Geet thought and shook her head, as she was standing there, suddenly Geet got scared as she saw an ramp of black cars passing her with a speed and stopping a few yards away from her, except for one car which stopped near her, she looked at it shocked and she was even more shocked to see Maan getting out,
Maan walked towards her with a serious face, "What? Did I forget something, is he going to yell at me on the road, Baba ji," she thought looking at him, "Geet what are you doing here," Maan asked and she looked at him puzzled, "Waiting for a cab sir," she said slowly, "Geet you can't be serious, you are waiting for an Cab in this deserted street at this time," Maan asked and Geet nodded a yes, "God," Maan said frustrated,
"Geet at this time, in this road, you will not find a cab, but you will find thieves, drunken rogues, and," Maan stopped looking at Geet's scared face, The taxi stand is right behind our office building," Maan said and Geet nodded, "Sorry sir, I am new to this place, and Thank you sir," she said and turned to leave, "Geet," Maan's voice stopped her and she turned towards him, "Sir," Geet looked at him and Maan looked away, "I will drop today, from tomorrow you can get the cab from there,"
Geet looked at him shocked, is he offering to help me, really, she thought surprised, "Get, in the car" Maan said and Geet too nodded and went and sat inside the car's back seat and Maan too came and sat near her. Geet was feeling a tension as she sat with him and so as Maan, but he liked it but it made Geet more nervous and at the same time, happy and safe, confusing her; Maan saw her uncomfortable state,
"Geet, where do you live," Maan asked, and Geet said the address, "That's two streets away from my Mansion, how long you are living there," Maan asked, "Oh, sir, just a week before I started staying there, my Veer ji took that house on rent as I got an job here," Geet said and Maan looked at her, "So where are from, actually," Maan asked again, "Punjab," she said and Maan's hearted to beat him,
And Maan turned around, and Geet looked at his sudden change in the reaction, "Sir, can I ask you a question," she asked and Maan nodded, "Have you been to Punjab, or know anyone there," Geet asked slowly, and Maan heart started to beat fast, but he took a deep breath, "No, I have no connection with that state," Maan said and Geet too nodded and sat there, suddenly Maan's car took a steep turn making Geet lose her balance and fall on to Maan, "Baba ji," she closed her eyes,
Maan saw her leaning to his chest, close to his heart, Geet too slowly looked at him, to see his reaction and found him starting at her, and Geet eyes were like iron balls, getting attracted and attached to those magnetic eyes of Maan, and it was hard for her to get her eyes away from his, she slowly pulled away from him looking at him and Maan too was looking at her, and Maan turned around breaking the spell and Geet feel an upset as their eyes lock broken,
"Baba ji, what's happening with me, what's happening, what am I feeling... that too for him", Geet thought getting more nervous, finally the address which Geet said come and Maan car stopped before her house and Maan had an look at the place and turned around, "Thank you Sir, and Good night," Geet said and Maan just nodded and then the car went away,
Geet went towards her home and she went inside her wash room and got refreshed, and then got back and wore her night suit and went inside the kitchen, she was in no mood to cook, she was tired now, she opened her refrigerator and saw some nuts and almonds, and her orange juice, she was not feeling hungry now, she took the nuts and put those in a bowl and then took the orange juice and poured in a glass and sat on her kitchen table,
As she started biting the nuts, she felt something was wrong, her heart was saying it from the moment she saw Maan but she ignored it and concentrated on her job but now as she was alone and had nothing to do, she can hear her mind voice so clearly, his eye were so pure to be an bad guy, and yes, his attitude is high, but he doesn't seem like what these reports say,
Someone who cares for a girl standing alone in the street and drops her home, how could he be bad, and if he could care for someone like me, a girl whom he hates from the first look, how will he harm anyone, Geet was so confused, and face of Maan and his stare and hold on her came to her mind, but if he was not that bad why should the whole CID team run behind him and used different agents and plans,
Geet remember Breej's word, and closed her eyes, if he isn't anyone special then why would Breej do this much, and take this case so seriously, Geet felt so confused, "Baba ji, don't know whom to believe now, and what to believe," Geet thought and shook her head, "What the hell am I thinking, this is only my first day, and I didn't even start my really job of investigation, then how could I think Maan is a good guy,"
"I think I am confused, I should not see someone with a preconceived notion, it's not good, will take time, maybe he dropped me as I am his secretary and if something happens to me, he would held responsible," Geet thought and was slowly eating up, when her land phone rang, "who is calling me now, "Geet thought and took the call,
"Hello", she said, "hello Geet," Breej voice was so bright, "Veer ji," Geet said and Breej laughed, "So you identified me," he said and Geet said an yes, "Geet, I am so happy, now," Breej said and Geet asked why, "Geet, today is your first day and you are already on the Mission of trapping MSK" he said and Geet was confused,
"What did I do," Geet asked slowly, "Oh, come on Geet, I know, MSK had keep you alone up late until this time and he came all the way to drop you, so something must have happened between you na, staying alone with him late night, all alone in the office," Breej said with a lustful tone and Geet felt disgusted,
"Nothing happened between me and him, he was busy in his works and I was busy in mine, in fact, he was so seriously drown into his work, that he forgot I was too in that office, and he is not some kind of flirts, he is a serious workaholic person, and I don't think trapping him would be an easy job, and it was late and I was standing on the wrong street, so as an boss, he felt responsible for my safe and came to drop me down, that's all" Geet said without a break pour out some kind of anger,
Suddenly there was silent on the other side, Geet relaxed a bit, "Hello," Geet said slowly to make sure Breej is on the other end, "I didn't expect this Geet," he said in a disappointing tone, "I thought," he said, and Geet felt for upsetting her senior, "I am sorry, but this is just the first day, and he is so serious, and we didn't even speak much" Geet said trying to convince him,
"You know what Geet, you are right, it's just your first day, and you are fitting inside the job, but Geet try to get close with him, impress him somehow, the more sooner you make him fall, the sooner you can start your mission, and end it up," Breej said and Geet said an ok, "But can I ask you something, what does he do in his underworld, I mean, there was no records but you should have known right, that why you are following him," Geet asked,
"Yes, I know, he had hands in everything, drug dealing, real estate frauds, murders," Breej said and Geet was shocked, "Ok Geet, will call you later," Breej said and kept the phone, Geet too cut the phone and went to her bed room and laid on her bed and covered herself with her blanket, "drug dealing, real estate frauds, murders," Geet thought and her mind showed her Maan's face, and her first day moments with him, her heart totally refused that he would do anything like that,
His shining magnetic power eyes, his roaring voice and his charismatic attitude, and there was an gentleman attitude too in his acts, and Geet was so confused, and finally she decided, "He can be innocent, or not, whatever it is I will find it, if is an criminal will help the CID team to find it, and if he is innocent, I will help him to free himself and will make his name clean, but to do those I should get close to him, and make him like me, then only I can find the truth", Geet decided and prayed and slept off,
