Chapter 7

Geet took an second and collected her words and asked Pinky, "Pinky do you know what Maan sir likes, I mean his favorite color, food, things like that," Geet asked and Pinky looked at her with a grin, why do you want to know those things Geet, don't say you are fall for Maan sir in one day and want to impress him" Pinky asked and Geet nodded a no,

"No Pinky not like that, it's just I wanted to gift him or do something to thank him, I mean, he helped me na, by dropping me home, I mean it make be a small act but it was our boss we are talking about, so, I should thank him na," Geet said and Pinky nodded an ok, "You are right Geet, but you know, no one knows what MK likes, I means, he never speaks or even say about those things,"

"Until today we don't know nothing about his likes n dislikes apart from the work," Pinky said, "ok, atleast you might have seen in his house na, or heard from his family," Geet asked, "House, we have never been to his house, no one had see his house except for Adi sir, and his family, his Dadi maa used to come once in a while, and his bro Dev and sister Annie is studying in Canada, so they too won't come here," Pinky said,

"Great," Geet said and turned around, "Ah, one thing is, MK used to drink Coffee a lot, usually at 11 the peon will take him coffee and also at evening 3, do one thing today you make him coffee and take it to him," Pinky said and Geet smiled big, "Thank you Pinky," Geet said hugging her, "Ok Geet, I will go now, MK will be here at any minute," Pinky said and went away, and Geet sat up there waiting for Maan,

Maan was sitting in his car working in his laptop when his phone rang, Maan saw the phone and gave a slight grin, "Everything is ready, including the papers and the cash but remember I need the whole package for myself, I don't even want any changes, ok," Maan ordered as soon as he took the call not even allowing the other guy to speak, "if you need extra money that too I will give you, ok," Maan said cutting the call as he stepped up into the call, "Hope nothing goes wrong", Maan thought,

Geet was waiting for Maan, "Look Geet, don't speak too much, the first thing to do to impress him is talk less," Geet thought, "Just go make him the coffee and go and give, say thank you sir with a smile, that's all, no more, no less," Geet was telling to herself, when Maan suddenly entered in to her cabin shocking, she immediately stood up, suddenly she was feeling nervous and excited, "Thank you sir," she said suddenly,

"What, Thank you, for what entering in your cabin," Maan yelled, and Geet closed her mouth and eyes, "God, why, why," Geet asked with in herself, "Geet, you are suppose to say Good morning not Thank you, when you see me in the morning," Maan yelled up and Geet looked at him, "Sorry sir, Good morning," Geet said slowly, "should I teach you everything from the base," Maan asked and She shook her head a no,

"Whatever, I am having an important work now, so no phone call and appointments, Ok," Maan said and Geet smiled a silly smiled and shook her head, and Maan went away, Geet then sat there and was doing her job, and turned to see Maan, and it was shocking for her, because Maan was on his phone, "Boss said he has an important work and now he is speak in his phone," Geet thought puzzled, and was looking at him and he was speaking up for a long time,

And her phone suddenly rang, "Hello," Geet said, "Hello Geet," Breej's voice made her to jump, "You, how did you get the number," Geet asked and she heard laughter on the other end, "Geet I know everything about that office", Breej said, "and Geet now I called you to tell you something important," Breej said and Geet asked for the details, "O, actually, today MSK is going for an drug auctions," Breej said, "Drug Auction," Geet asked puzzled,

"Yes, the Drug seller of the foreigner nation, will bring in a huge amount of drugs into our country and make a auction for selling it, the highest bidder will get the drug and then he will disturb to the other ones in the price and quantity he wishes, and MSK was the one who always won the bid, so today too he will make the bid, the underworld don's of all state will come there," Breej said and Geet looked into Maan's cabin who was working on his files,

"This Man, Drugs," Geet thought unbelievable, and Breej continued, "Geet, My spy had told me that MSK made that auction papers ready and is having with him, the auction starts at 12.30, if you can get those files and papers or atleast keep an close watch at MSK, because he always has his alibi's clean," Breej said, "But I don't understand, if you have this much information's then why don't you go and catch them all," Geet asked puzzled, "Wish that could be that simple, Geet we have information's and no evidence and here evidence speak not mere information, so I need to get those evidence," Breej said,

"Ok, I will keep an eye on him and also try to find the files," Geet said and Breej wished a good luck and cut the call, Geet stood up and looked at Maan's cabin, her heart was refusing continually that he might do such a thing, "well one way to find out is wait and watch," Geet thought and sat there and started to continue her work, and as the clock struck 11.00, Geet remember her previous plan, "Coffee"

Geet then went and made him the coffee and went towards his cabin, how am I going to find whether he is going to the meeting or not, and slowly knocked on his cabin, "Come in," Maan said and Geet went in, "Sir, your coffee," Geet said and Keep the coffee on the table, "why did you bring the coffee, what about the peon," Maan asked keeping the file he was looking on the table, "Sir, he is not seen around sir, and you used to drink coffee at 11, so I even bought it sir," Geet said and Maan looked at her with a grin,

Maan took the coffee mug and sipped it up and closed his eyes and his total reaction changed and he kept the mug on the table, "Geet, I drink coffee and not Kheer," Maan yelled and Geet looked at him puzzled, "Too much sugary sir, but I just put two cubes of sugar," Geet said and Maan shook his head, "I use only one cube of sugar," Maan said between his teeth, "Sorry sir, I have no idea," Geet said,

"NO, You have no brain, if you don't know something, why the hell do you do it," Maan yelled up and Geet looked down and suddenly her view went on to the opened file, which Maan was reading, and it looked with numeric figure, "what if this is the auction papers," Geet thought, "But how will I know it," Geet thought and looked at Maan, who was looking away, "Sorry sir, really sorry, I will make you another coffee in a minute and bring you up," Geet said,

And as if taking the coffee mug she tagged it and made it fell on the file, and the papers too got wet, "Damn," Maan yelled looking at the mess, his anger raising up, "Oops, sorry sir, it was a accident, I am so sorry, allow me sir, I will re done those papers in a minutes," Geet said and Tried to get those file, "No," Maan stopped by holding both her hands,

"No," Maan said and as there was no reaction from Geet, he looked at her, and saw that she was frozen by his hold and was starting at him, her breathing getting high, Maan was feeling some kind of excitement inside him, seeing her stare, and he slowly tightened his hold on her hand, making her to gasp up, and Maan found an urge to pull her close and hug her,

But he controlled and left his hold on her pushing her back, and Geet too stepped back, "What's happening," Geet thought standing there, "Geet, get out, I have work," Maan said as he closed his eyes, and Geet looked at those papers and Maan's reaction and took those papers, "Sir, I will re type this file sir," Geet said holding the paper, Maan turned around and snatched those papers from her, I will take care, now get out," Maan yelled and Geet left his cabin,

Maan then walked out, "now, I have to make another one ready, but," Maan called someone, "do you have an copy of those auction papers," Maan asked and the voice on the other side said an yes, "Good, make an copy and bring up now," Maan said and went to his cabin, Geet sat in her chair, "hmmm, total failure, can't impress him nor do the work given by Breej, o, I don't know why I get struck whenever he is near me and touches me," Geet thought frustrated,

At 12.00, Maan called Geet and said he is having a meeting now, and so asked not to disturb him until he calls her, Geet too said an ok and looked into Maan's cabin, and at 12.20 she saw an guy entering in to his cabin wearing a black suit and shook hands with Maan and Maan took a file and they both walked away and Geet too followed them and they went inside the conference room, but no other staff went with them,

"Just two persons Meeting," Geet thought and looked at the clock, and it was 12.30, "at 12.30 Breej sir said that he is going for some Drug Auction and he is still here in meeting, which means Breej sir's calculations are wrong," Geet thought and it made her happy, and after 1.00 Maan and the other Man came out of the conference room and then Maan walked that Man out, and Geet phone rang again,

"Geet," it was Breej, "Sir," Geet started and before she could say anything Breej screamed, "Geet did you keep an eye on MSK, just now I got the news, that the Auction is over and MSK won it this time too," Breej shouted shocking Geet, "No way sir, Maan sir, didn't go anywhere, in fact he was in another meeting here, in this office and just now the meeting was over, no way boss had gone there," Geet said surely,

"No Geet something is wrong, my informer's news never went wrong, MSK had won the auction and he had been there," Breej said, "Sir, listen I was watching him, and he didn't go out anywhere, maybe he had send his agent" Geet said, "No Geet, expect for the Don's themselves no one else is allowed into those place, Ok, There must another way I guess, anyways keep an eye on him, if he had purchased it. He would sell it too," Breej said, and Geet nodded an ok and kept the phone, and was looking confused,

"what the hell, his informers must have done a mistake, how can he bid when he is here, it's confusing, what if there was another door in that," Geet thought and felt confused and how will I find it now," Geet thought and looked into Maan's cabin and he was back and took some files and she saw him going away without any instructions, "Baba Ji, he is gone, now what to do," Geet thought,

And after a few minutes, Pinky came to her cabin, "Oie Geet, lunch time, come on lets go to the canteen," Pinky said and Geet nodded and went with her, and as they sat in the canteen, "Pinky, you had been to the Conference room in this office na," Geet asked slowly, and Pinky nodded a yes, "Is there any other away in that conference room, I mean another door or passage to come out,"

Pinky thought for a second and nodded a no, "No, why Geet," she asked, "Nothing just asking" Geet said, "and did you know where Maan sir went now," Geet asked and Pinky looked at her with a grin, "Geet you are his secretary not me," she said, "I know Pinky, but he is gone without a word, and he had an meeting with his construction clients at 3.00, so only,"

"Oie, Geet don't worry MK never missed a meeting, he will be back, so don't worry and get ready for the meeting, MK sometimes goes out like this only, but he is the boss na, can't question his acts," Pinky said and Geet nodded and then started to eat their lunch and went to their place, Geet was in her cabin, when Maan came back and his shirt was changed, and she saw him taking his phone receiver, and she knew whom he was calling,

As Geet's phone rang, she took it, "Sir," Geet said immediately "Geet come to my cabin, need to give you some notes" Maan ordered and Geet went in, "Baba ji, now what," Geet thought as she towards his cabin and knocked twice and went in, " sit down," Maan said, "wellington group is such an big concern and they want to do an project with us and asked us to building an multiplex with an unique style, but will they like this style" Maan said thinking about his project,

Geet smiled big as she knew the Wellington groups, in US, Ryan had once worked as an ghost of that concern and he had said many thing and shared Many pictures of their various buildings with Geet, "Sir, as far as I knew Wellington building designs are Mainly made of glass structures, hard glass floors and stairs, they use this policy of using glass to show to their customers their transparency in the business," Geet told him immediately without even thinking once,

And Maan looked at her with a puzzled look, "You had visited those buildings, in US, meaning you had been to US," Maan asked suddenly and Geet felt struck, "OMG, what have I done," Geet thought feeling caught, and Maan was looking at her suspiciously...
