Prologue

Shhh... It's ok, I am here, Maan said holding her close, come on, don't cry be strong, please don't cry sweetheart, I am here, I am always here, Maan said as he laid besides her and pampered her soft hair,

"It was scary," she said with a honey dipped sweet voice reminding Maan of someone else, "It's ok sweetheart, you are a strong girl, right, now sleep, that's just a bad dream, forget it" Maan said hugging her close, "Please stay here, and don't go away," she said curdling inside his strong chest, "No, I am not going anywhere, I am not going anywhere from you," Maan said holding her close and covering her with blanket,

"Sleep, my dear, sleep," he said and kissed her head, and she hide herself inside him hiding from the nightmare she had, but it was more of an reality, but it was known only to Maan, he laid his head on the bed frame and a small tear escaped from his opened eyes and ran down his hard smile less face and he looked at the ceiling, "Why Geet, Why?" He asked an old pain pricking his heart and closed his eyes hold her image,

Maan slowly stood from the bed pulling himself careful without disturbing her sleep and covered her properly with the blanket and went and stood near the window looking outside the window on to the moon and all he could see was her it was 5 long years yet nothing changed in his heart nor life, "Geet," he called at the moon.

Somewhere in a house in Chandigarh, Geet opened her eyes as she heard someone calling her name, her heart started to beat fast, it happens often but yet she can't find the reason, she removed her blanket covering her and walked slowly and unlocked the doors and went out, the place was so dark, she smiled to herself, once she was hell sacred of the darkness, but now it was comforting, she sat on the bench in the garden,

And looked up and in the moon she saw his face, her tears rolled down, yet she smiled, "Maan," she called and took the mangalsutra hanging down neck and saw it, and gave a sad grin, and her tears flowed more, everything had changed, her life, her love, her whole world, "Maan," she said closing her eyes, "Sleep walking, Geet" a strong Male voice pulled her thoughts back and she opened her eyes to see an strongly build man looking at her confused, and she smiled a bit and shook her head a no, "what are you doing out here, come on in, it's so chilled out here, you will catch a cold," he said worried and concerned,

Geet slightly smiled at him and stood up and walked towards him, he smiled and put his arms around her shoulders from behind and walked her up to their house...
