"I want this job at any cost arjun, I don't know what you are going to do but I want this job by hook or crook" demanded geet. "I am just HR dear, go and ask maan for your job. He will give you" told arjun. "What a friend you are chii... shame on you can't you help your friend for your other friends good" asked geet dramatically. "Tum itne baar friends friends mat kaho (Don't insist the word friends these many times)" told arjun frustrated. "Geet, do you think that maan didn't recognize you?" asked arjun seriously. "I don't know" replied geet blankly. "Geet, just think once. I recognized you in a minute. And he is maan yaar" told arjun knocking some sense in her. "Ha I know he is maan and do you know one thing that idiot knows that I am in Canada. I don't care if he recognize me or not I promised to dadi and maan will come to India this time" told geet and continued drinking her coffee. Arjun stared at her for few seconds and sighed heavily. "I am silent that doesn't mean that I forgot what I told. I want this job at any cost" told geet. Arjun don't know what to do to cry or laugh at her. Seriously she wants job in KC and he became bali ka bakra. "Bye geet I have so many works. Come home in the evening" told arjun and got up. "Don't worry arjun from today onwards daily I will come for dinner" told geet and smiled at him cheekily. "Maan ke paas jao, he will give you nice dinner" told arjun sarcastically for which geet only glared at him.

It's been 2 hours and results may come at any time. Soon there was a notice and the people who are selected is listed. Geet is very much tensed and biting her nails to see the notice. Her heart almost skipped a beat when she saw her name in the list. She almost jumped in joy and thanked her babaji and within minutes the selected candidates gathered in the conference hall. They all are seated arjun and adi (the second HR) entered the conference hall and after few minutes maan too came with attitude. He once glanced at all the 4 selected candidates and started his speech. Geet is staring at maan without blink, even in the morning she saw him but she was sitting little far. Now she is watching him from close. She is meeting him after 10 years, her eyes clouded with tears. She looked the other way to control her tears and faked a smile looking at him. She looked into his eyes, a person who don't know him think it as anger but she knows him in and out. The pain which he is hiding is visible in his eyes and anger. Geet closed her eyes, this life is given by god then why he is angry with his own life. He has everything and everyone then why he is living this lonely life. When will he realize this and come back no one knows. But geet is not able to see him like that, she want to see him happy just like when he was 10 years back. Always smiling, irritating her, pampering his brother and she too want to be like 10 years back scolding maan, playing pranks on him with the help of dev, irritating him, waking him at mid-night for some stupid reason. A small smile formed on her lips when she thought about their past.

Thinking about their past days geet didn't even listen a word which maan spoke just heard "If you have any doubts you can ask me" and geet came out of thoughts just nodded blankly but didn't stop admiring her maan. She so much wanted to go and hug him tight and scold him like never before but she controlled herself and pouted looking up. Soon maan left the conference room; geet cupped her cheeks resting her hands on chair staring at maan, others too left from there except arjun and adi as they were discussing something. Arjun saw her and came near geet tapped her shoulder. "What happened madam?" asked arjun. "I want to go to maan" replied geet sadly. Adi who listened this gave his signature laugh. Geet looked at him weirdly, seeing her face adi stopped laughing and corrected his spects nervously. "Oh ya he is my friend adithya" introduced arjun. They both smiled at each other. "Adi, she is geet my childhood friend and maan's ex-gf" told arjun and laughed seeing her fuming face. "Oh hello I am the only one girl in his life. I am his present gf not any X or Y or Z" warned geet. "Ok meri maa, sorry" told arjun not want to get killed in her hands. Adi smiled at her.

"You both listen to me carefully. Don't call me with my name" before geet completes arjun told "Of course who will call you with your name. You will be soon call as GHOONDI" Geet glared at him and told "Will you just shut your mouth" Arjun nodded laughing at her. "You should call me as Ms. Kapoor and maan should not see my certificates at any cost" warned geet. "Yaar geet, maan is owner of this company. He can see any file at any time how can we stop him" asked arjun listening her idiotic demands. "I don't know, that's your risk. Do whatever you want but he should not see" told geet. "What if he asks your name but not call you as Ms. Kapoor" asked adi. "Great point adi" appreciated geet. "Leave it to me adi I will manage" smirked geet. They talked for some time and left from there. Geet bid good bye to both and left the office. From next week she has to join office and still 2 days are left. She decided to explore places with arjun and his wife as the next 2 days are weekend and there will be no office.
