I do have a story on hold i am aware of it but i m in no right mood to continue that now

This story has been in my mind ever since i read sleeping with my enemy but no it is neither copy nor inspiration . just that when i was reading this story some idea popped into my mind

I have no idea how it will be proceeded.

lets see your opinions after reading the prologue and i ll continue accordingly

PART 21

*Maan's POV*

My alarm buzzed at its usual time disturbing my sleep. If it had been a normal day i would wake up before my alarm and wait for it to ring. But this is no usual day and the reason behind my bright morning is curled beside me. I turned to my left and smiled at Geet's disoriented position.

Geet's head was on my chest, he one hand was supporting her bump while her other hand was gripping my T-shirt. Her leg was partially on me. Her breath was even and she was sleeping patiently. My hand involuntarily tugged a strand behind her ear and kissed her head. I wouldn't say it was like a dream because none of my dream felt so perfect.

I adjusted myself to the right so the sun does not disturb her sleep. She frowned with my moment and her sleepy eyes looked at me complaining.

"sorry" i said apologetically

" Good morning" she said after a pause

" morning " i said still lost in her.

"Why did you wake me up so early?" she asked

"Because its Monday morning and we have got jobs to do " i said

"ufff i hate it" she complained before getting up and sitting cross legged leaning on the bed post.

" Geet i will not tell you to quit the job but if you think its the best thing then you are free to do it" i said

" Maan you don't have to be so formal with me. You can tell me whatever you wants. Don't talk to me as if i am some stranger" she said

This is what i have been hearing her say from the very starting. But it is just hard for me to practice all f a sudden. I am trying to cope with this life and living. I smiled diplomatically. She gave me a knowing look and placed her head on my shoulder hugging my arm.

" I like doing my job. Mostly i work from home nowadays if it gets stressful i will quit " she said

" I just want you and baby to be happy " i said

"me and baby wants you to be happy " she said

" i will be , with you both here now" i said

Our eyes locked for a brief moment as we both tried to find the reflection of love in one another's.

"your words are so romantic . do you realize that?" she asked

I just shrugged. She pulled my cheeks laughing and placed a quick peck on my lips.

"i ll go get ready " she said skipping to her room.

I was waiting in front of Geet's office to pick her up as we are scheduled to meet pooja for lunch. It has been more than 15 minutes but the wait is not making me anxious but eager rather excited.

"sorry i am late" Geet said as she sat in the passenger's seat.

" thats perfectly okay" i said smiling

" is she coming with shaan?" Geet asked

I nodded smiling. I like to know that Geet actually likes kids. This makes me eager to have our own kid soon.

When we reached the restaurant pooja was already there. Shaan jumped over me at sight and Geet giggled.

"Did you becam any celebrity since the last time i saw? Your phone is always out of reach " pooja complained

" we were in a forest near shimla" i said

" Ohh? Honeymoon?" she asked wagging her eyebrows.

I gave her a warning glare making both her and Geet giggle.

"sort of" Geet answered winking.

Now i know why it is not good to be in the presence of two ladies.

"they are spoiling our innocence, aren't they?" i asked shaan who smiled happy that i asked him something as if introducing him in our conversation.

"don't match your innocence with my son's he is just a kid" pooja said

" whatever" i said

With all the fun our dinner continued and i was glad to have come here.

"So take care of shaan we are going to rest room " said pooja

"We? Is it kind of ritual that girls go to rest room together?" i asked

" shut up"

With that they both went out leaving me with the cute kid.

When they came back Geet looked different. It was as if she suddenly zoned out. She smiled when i looked at her but it wasn't her usual smile.

"okay then meet you two later. Take care" pooja said waving.

"bye" shaan added in his sweet voice.

Me and Geet reached our car and Geet was abnormally quiet.

"Maan" she called as we sat in the chair.

"ummm"

"can we go to the place you took me to after the sonography?" she asked

"sure"

I didn't ask her why though it was obvious question. I was sure she would tell me eventually. I was developing that kind of trust on her.

We reached the place that garden, away from the city. Geet sat on the swing. It was as if her mood changed suddenly. She smiled looking at me and waved me to join her. I nodded no.

"oh come on Maan " she cried

I sat near her and she immediately grabbed my hand. It started to feel so natural nowadays.

"i love this place" she said " we can bring our son here when he is old enough "

I chuckled hearing her say that.

" what?" she asked

" this is the first time you have said son" i said

" ohh so baby's daddy is happy about it " she said

" i am happy just by the sound of baby" i said

" and by the sound if Geet?" she asked

"By the sound of Geet my whole blood reaches to my heart and i feel as i am born as a new person every minute " i said looking into her eyes.

"how could you say so many good things to me Maan?" she asked

" because you are the only good thing happened to me " i said

" will you stay like this forever?" she asked

"forever and ever " i said

Our eyes locked and not mere seconds later our lips locked. This kiss felt more special than the previous one or any other i have ever experienced. Because it was filled with one magical quotient called LOVE.

"Don't you want to sleep? " Geet asked

Presently we were lying in my bed as the day ended and night engulfed.

I nodded no answering her question.

"are you sacred Maan?" she asked

I know what she is refering to. The very thought sent shivers through me.

"Do you want to talk about it?" she asked

I nodded no. She sighed and came near me and cupped my face.

" i want you to believe that i will never leave you " she said

I kept looking into her eyes. Trying to gain the strength they are trying to offer. She placed a peck on my forehead.

" Geet " i called

She looked at me as a kid watches a puzzle.

"i..." before i could talk her phone interrupted .

Aarav, the ID said. Immediate wave of displeasure crossed me.

"helloo" Geet said in the very tone that she uses to Aarav every time.

"what?" "okay" " everything fine?" " i ll come immediately"

These are the words i heard Geet speak. I looked at her worriedly.

"Aarav's mom had an attack. I want to see her " she said

iam realy happy to read both updates of ur work..u r gud at keeping promise..i dont know y i feel more attached to this work of urs..its coz of the unrevealed truth behind the past life of maan .hope u will reveal it soon..u r doing a great job..keep it up.god bless u..
