Aanchal,very fishy topic.Ashok must have been forced to marry Aisha thats why he is so disinterested.Or he is a fake fiance???
Did Aanchal trickfully invited Maaneet to her house jst to show off her wealthy fiance.

whatever Maaneet love failed all hatred of Mr.Dheeraj.

PART 28

*Geet's POV*

I sighed with relief as we came home and i launched on couch. Maan went to kitchen and came back with a bottle of cold water i grabbed it from before he could drink and gulped heart full before giving it back to him. He took it with a smile and sipped it. I cuddled to him watching the water flow through his throat.

"Eventful evening" Maan remarked

"you bet" i said

"so to bed?" he asked lowering his shoulder so that i am comfortable.

"nay... i feel like just sitting here and talk to you " i said getting more comfortable though i haven't changed into my PJs.

"Geet you remember we have an appointment with doctor tomorrow,right?" he asked

"of course" i lied.

I forgot it completely. There was so much to deal with in this past week that appointment slipped off my mind. Maan shook his head looking at me. I m not surprised that he caught my lie.

"I am sorry "i said

"that not big deal. I am here to take care of you both. I just want you to relax " he said

"why are you being so nice to me Maan?" i asked

I probably have asked this question to him many times before. I , in no way deserve so much love and care. He treats me no less than a queen and i am sure when our baby is born it will not be less than any prince/princess.

"Because you give me hope. A hope to hope for better future and i can only treat you the way you deserve " he said kissing my forehead.

"i wish we had met long back" i said

"That wouldn't have been the same." He said

"Why?" i asked frowning

"Because this baby" he said patting my bump " is meant in our destiny and this angel brought us together "

"I am glad that our baby has a father like you " i said

"and a mother like you " he added

"yeah " i said laughing making him grin

"Geet can i ask you something?" he asked after a minute

"anything" i said

"Do you miss your parents?" he asked

I have never discussed about my parents with Maan but i am sure he knows from Aarav, after all they were good friends.

"i have not known them enough to miss them " i said

"you don't have to talk about it if you are not comfortable " he said

" i am not uncomfortable about discussing my parents" i said

Maan moved aside a bit making more space for me to bear hug him and i made myself comfortable in his arms.

" I was very young and i don't remember my mother's face apart from photos shown by Aarav's mother. She is the face i have given to my mother and i am happy about it" i said

"your father?"

"He left my mom when she was pregnant with me so you can't expect me to miss him" i said

Maan had a blank expression. He didn't know what to tell. I am aware that he is not used to hear things like this and console someone for it. He, for all i know must have been in receiving end always. But i don't want him to tell some sugery words of encoragement to me. I just want him to be with me.

"But i always consider myself to be lucky with lovely people around me and now my life is gonna be blessed with our little baby " i said smiling.

Maan's attention turned to my bump and he bent down to kiss it.

" i can't wait to have him in my hands" he said

I narrowed my eyes

"him slash her in my hand s" he corrected.

Doctor visit was usual with regular advice and addition of new medicine and omission of old. Maan was more attentive than i was while doctor was talking i will not be surprised if he could recite that without mistake.

As a custom we went to our favorite spot. The garden after the check up. I feel very happy when i am there so we made it a custom to visit there after every doctor visit so that we could live the moment of knowing about the baby and spend time with each other.

I was in the swing and Maan as usual was sitting in the nearby log looking at me.

"Maan i was wondering what if the owner of the place finds out that we sneak here every now and then ?" i asked

This is a question i have been wondering every time we come here.

"Why?"

"isn't illegal?" i asked

"don't worry" he said standing up to sit beside me in the swing.

"But Maan if the owner finds out about this and file a case against us ?" i asked scared about the idea. Well not that i should be worried Maan has influence but still its creepy.

"The owner is lovely lady she will not mind " he said

" lady? You know her?" i asked

" yeah very well" he said

"you told her about our visit?" i asked

" nope. But she knows " he said

"how? Did you meet her recently?" i asked

"yeah, i meet her everyday. In fact she sleeps cuddling with me every night " he said with small smile

My eyes widened in shock rather than surprise when i realized what he meant.

" What? You must be kidding" i said

" nope"

"seriously?!!! You bought this place ?" i asked

" now how can i not when we have so much memories attached to it" he said

" oh Maan you are too good " i said hugging him

Maan chuckled seeing my enthusiasm and hugged me back.

"I can't believe this is yours . i just love this place " i said

" well its precisely yours. Registered in the name of Geet " he said

I frowned looking at him.

"When exactly i signed the papers?" i asked

"The day when i realized you trust me enough to sign papers without reading it " he said

I guess i remember, he is talking about the day when i was so tired back from work. Maan asked me to read a paper and sign it. I was too tired to read so i just signed blankly. I thought it was some bank related stuff never imagined it to be this.

" Thats... .like... wow" i said

" Thanks for trusting me Geet " he said

" i can trust you with my life Maan " i said looking at him

Now that i know this place belongs to us. I took a good look at it. It feels great.

"This is amazing. Now we will always have this place with us and will remember sweet memories like our first kiss " i said slyly.

Maan laughed throwing his head back.

"what?" i asked

"Geet if this place has been our first kiss then you wouldn't have been pregnant now " he said

I flushed realizing what he meant. We haven't directly discussed about that' night but its no more a sore topic now that we are together. I blushed thinking about it. Its better we stop the conversation here.

"Can we have dinner somewhere outside?" i asked

"sure especially after the disaster we had last night in the name of dinner " he said

" it wasn't bad " i said ... well it was very bad ...

" yeah " Maan said sarcastically " i can't believe you accepted her invitation and made me go with you. I refused as soon as she uttered the word dinner yesterday morning " he said

I looked at him shocked. What did he tell? Refuse? But Anchal's story was something else.

Beautiful update

Geet telling abt hey parents. She doesn't feel like the way Maan does when asked at his parents.

Maan pampers her... How sweet. Doctor appointment to taking her to garden. He purchased only for her. Liked the way he said it indirectly.

Something surely fishy abt Anchal.

Maneet bonding is increasing day by day😳
it was so sweet of maan that he brought the garden in geet's name
about the last part it was shocking to know that anchal lied geet that maan agreed for their invitation
