PART -32

*Geet' POV*

When i woke up in the evening after a nap i didn't find Maan beside me. I didn't panic for i found a not on the side table below my phone.

A surprise waiting for you in the bathroom, just relax and expect me anytime.

She smiled looking at the letter. Maan has never been very romantic at least not doing things like this so this is definitely going to be new. I checked for any calls in phone then walked to the bathroom only to be flattered.

The bath tub was decorated with rose petals and the mild vanilla fragrance of the room was pleasing. The light was dim giving it a serene feeling. I have never saw anything like this before. It was amazing. I relaxed in the bath not worrying about anything but just thinking about how good my evening is going to be when the start is so awesome.

After i don't know how many minutes i walked back into the robe wrapping a robe around me. I found a elegant purple saree on the bed with purple flower. Trust Maan for not being cliche.

Will be at your service at 8.

A card near the dress read. I checked the time it was only 7.15. thank god i can get ready very leisurely. I took all the time in the world to look good for him today. I know Maan isn't much found of glossy stuffs so i decided to keep make up less. I let my hair free because i remember once he said he likes my long hair. I looked at myself in the mirror pleased, my bump was so obvious but as far as i know Maan he will only be more happy to look at how cute my bump looks with this dress.

At 8 i heard a knock at the door and went to attend it excitedly. Maan stood there with a bouquet of white roses with a huge smile.

"Thank you" i said getting the flowers

He kept looking at me as if he was seeing me for the first time. He hasn't spoken a word.

" Maan " i called to get his attention.

"huh?" He was still looking at me mesmerized.

I poked his arms giggling.

"You look amazing " he said

" you all dressed up for me feels amazing " he said

I bent forward holding his hands

"I always dress up for you to be pleased " i said

He looked down smiling and i couldn't be more happy for bringing that smile in his face.

We didn't walk much before we reached the isolated part of the beech. Maan snapped his fingers and all at once many candles lightened. My eyes widened in shock at the sight before me. It was beautiful.

wasn't this beautiful. I turned to look at Maan with slight tear of joy in my eyes.

"do you like it?" he asked nervous

"Like?!!! Oh Maan i love it . No one has even done this for me before " i said

" I am glad that i am the first " he said

"You are... in everything " i said

I saw pride cross his eyes when he beamed at me. I can tell more sweet things only to see him glow like that.

Like a gentle man pulled out the chair for me and then took the seat opposite me.

"You did all this in few hours ?" i asked

" anything for that smile in your face " he said

"Sometimes you are so sweet that i have no words to tell you " i said

"words not needed Geet, your eyes tell me everything, everytime. " he said

We were served food and i peeped closely to make sure its not vegetables. What should i say how much ever lover Maan tries the father Maan always interrupts and ruins my meal.

"Its not vegetables Geet " he said laughing

"Thank god" i sighed.

"But its healthy..." he said

I narrowed my eyes at him

"...but tasty " he added

We began to eat talking laughing and touching each other occasionally. Since it was my first date i felt more like a teenager.

"Thats the best dessert i have ever had " i said scooping a spoonful and putting in my mouth.

Maan's eyes brightened

"Whats the name ?" i asked

" you really liked it?!!" he asked excited

"Yeah why?"

"I... i made it " he confessed

My eyes widened in surprise.

"What?!!"

" you always think i am a bad cook so i thought baby won't like to have a father who doesn't know to cook " he said

I looked at him spell bounded. What is this man? When i think that i can't fall for him more, he proves me wrong.

" So its for baby not me " i said pouting

" baby's mother is my inspiration " he said kissing my hand.

"you are so sweet " i said

Suddenly music began to play from nowhere and i looked around.

"wanna dance?" Maan asked

"sure " i said as i placed my hand in his.

Maan pulled me towards him holding my waist. We began to move slowly with the music.

"You know this is our first dance as lovers " i said

He smiled as he spun me around and pulled me closer.

" When we met first i wouldn't have imagined you will be dancing with me" he said

"neither me... i hated you "

"Do you think our start would have been different if i had not been such a jerk?" he asked

" If i hadn't hated you so much then i wouldn't love you so much now" i said

He smiled and i kissed his cheeks.

"I like it when you are near me Geet. My life feels so complete i am just waiting for this baby " he said

" so that you can devote your full time to baby and forget me?" i asked

" that can never happen. Forgetting you is like punishing myself. You are my light " he said

"when i met you i never would have imagined you would be so sweet " i said

" its you who bring out the best in me " he said

" Maan " i called stopping the dance

He raised his eyebrows looking worried.

"i love you Maan " i said

He looked at me shocked before his lips curved to smile.

"Geet i ..." before he could complete i tip toed to kiss his lips like sealing a promise.

Maan was grinning the whole time we were walking back to our room. He was so excited hearing those three magical words he couldn't keep his hands off me. This was a new Maan and i am in no way complaining. I like it when he is so carefree with me, no hesitation.

We kissed in the elevator. That is so not like me, but who is worried. I was giggling like i was drunk when we entered our room.

Maan pulled me into a hug and kissed my shoulders.

" i am so happy today " he said " This is the best day in my life Geet. O ... i love you sooo much "

He placed a quick peck on my lips before i forcefully pushed into the washroom for a shower. He is crazy... crazy in love.

I sat in the couch recollecting the events of the day when Maan's phone buzzed. I attended it not bothering to check the caller ID.

"hello"

"is this Maan Singh Khuranna's phone?" the caller asked

"yes, who is this?" i asked

" umm... i am..."

That call is my nightmare turning to reality.
