Geet stood there all lost some where in her thoughts. Maan looked at her and pulled her to his lap. She landed on his lap wrapping his neck with her hands to balance herself.
Maan:- kya sochrahi ho geet?
Geet:- kuch nahi ,... she nodded her head wondering wat to tell him.
Maan:- mujhe nahi bathaogi?
Geet:- sab kuch itni achanak horaha hai ,.. ki ,.. mujhe yakeen nahi horaha hai,... isa lagraha hai ki sab ek kwaab jaisa lagraha hai ,.. dar lagraha hai ki karwat badloo tho chhali jaayegi ,.. dar lagraha hai ki mai ,... mai ,.. kaise bachhese baath karu? kaise unse nazare mila pau? kya muh dikhau unhe? kya sochega wo mere baare me? kayi wo ,..wo,..
Maan stopped her keeping his finger on her lips"chup bilkul chup",.. thumhe kissi se baath karneki koi jarurat nahi , kisi se darneki koi jarurat nahi hai maine kahatha na tumhe sab mai dekhlunga , mai mana lunga bachhe ko . Pehle tum ye thumhari man se ye guilt dur karo, hum koi galath nahi karrahe ,.. hume ek dusere se pyaar karthe hai ,.. aur pyaar karna koi galat nahi hai ,samjhe tum? sab mujhe per chodo , mai jaantha hu kya karna hai , kaise karna hai. thik hai?
Geet:- looked at him still not convinced , still feeling guilt etc,...etc.
Maan:- achha ye bathao ,.. ye karwachout me kya karna hai ? he asked her to divert her and she trapped in it . She got immeadiate interest in explaining him the things.
Karwachout ki din me subha 4 baje utkar sab se pehle mujhe sargi khana hai wo bhi aap ki haath se.
Maan:- u.mean,.. subha 4 baje,.. iska mathlab mujhe bhi 4 baje utna hoga ,.. iska mathlab mai raat ko yahi sona hoga ,.. iska matlab mujhe aaj bhi aap ke saath sona hoga,. thank.u.
Geet gulped ,.. yaha ,.. is ghar me? aap kaise yaha rahenge shaadi se pehle?
Maan:- Geet shaadi se pehle hum bahut kuch kiya jo kiarna nahi chahiyetha?looking in to her eyes teasingly .
Geet blushed furiously dipping her head in her chest." aap meri majak udharahi ho?
Maan:-meri itni mazal ki mai tumper mazak udhara hu?ab thumhi bathao raath late hrs me ghar jaake phir waapas 4 baje mai kaise asktha hu?"
Geet didnt give reply,...
Maan:- ab isahi rahogi ya kuch khilaogi tumhari haath se?
Geet :- ohh;,. my god mai abhi lunch banathi hu , she rushed to kitchen and Maan fallowed her saying mai bhi help kartha hu .
Thus Maan helped her ,... not actually helping ,.. its romancing with her.
They spent all the day together kabhi teasing eachother ,.. more than maan teasing her ,.. romancing her and kabhi she is explaining him the reethi riwaaz of vrat etc,..etc,.. at night he went to home arranging kaka as her security.
Karwachout,...
Early morning Maan got ready and went to Geets house to feed her sargi. Geet is already waiting for him. He came to her , she bring the thali of sweets etc,... in that [ actually i dont know wat they eat ,.. its something like kheer i think] Maan took the thali and made her sit on his laps and started to feed her. She took it fr. his hands . After some spoons he opened his mouth asking her to feed him. She looked at him with great surprize like looking him as an elian.
Maan:- mujhe nahi khilaogi?
Geet:- aap? aap khaoge sargi? matlab aap bhi vrat rakhrahe?
Maan:-jab tum mere liye vrat rakhsakthe ho, tho mai kyu nahi ,.. meri lambi umar keliye tum vrat rakhrahe hona ,.. tho itna lambi umar mai kya karu tumhare bina? mai kaise jeesaktha hu tumhare bina ? ek pal bhi nahi jeesaktha tumhare bina baaki bache hue zindagi ka har pal har lamha mai tumhari saath jeena chahtha hu ,.. mujhe tumhari saathgi chahiye geet humeshaa ,.. naki lambi umar tumhare bina.
Geet looked at him with tear full eyes smiling and fed him.
After their feeding session geet asked him to take some rest and bring him to her bedroom. He laid on it pulling her along with him. She came on to his chest keeping her head on his chest closed her eyes contented.
After some hrs they woke up, Maan said , mujhe office jaana hai aaj important meeting hai, puja kab suru hogi?
Geet:- shaam ko ,.. aap office jaake shaam ko jaldi ayiye, tab tak mai saari intezaam karthi hu.hum saath me puja karna hai aur vrat kholna hi.
Maan:- thik.hai,.. mai jaldi atha hu aur thum jyaada stress math lena ,. araam karo ,.. khayaal rakhna tumhari. thik.hai.
Geet:- thik .hai aur aap bhi.
Maan:- umm,.. and he went to office.
Geet prepared a lavish dinner along with lot of devimaa ki prasad and everything got ready .
She called to maan many times to know if he was fine and maan also did the same.
Geet checked once again all the arrangments for puja ,when it striked her ,.that Maan didnt have puja cloths to sit in puja . She immeadiately started to shop to buy some thing for him. she is entering in to a mens wear shop to buy a sharwaani to maan when Naintara observed her .
Naintara:- ye geet mens wear shop me kya karrahe hai? she stopped her car aside and went to look wat she is buying, hiding fr. geet.
Geet purchased the sharwaani for Maan and came out.
N.T:- Shawaani? jarur Maanji keliye hoga? she fallowed geet till her house and waited there to find out things alittle bit away fr. the sight of b.gds.
Later in the evening Maan is getting ready to leave winding up everything when Arjun came,..
Arjun:- wah,.. jiju itni jaldi packup? umm,.. di ke pass jaana haina?
Maan:- tum abhi tak yaha kya karrahe ho? jaldi ghar jaana haina tumhe?
Arjun:- haa,.. jiju mai bhi nikalraha hu ,.. aur jiju khali haath math jaana di ke pass,.. he winked at him.
Maan:- waise tum kya lke jaarahe ho mere behan keliye?
Arjun:- jiju ye aap ki pehla karwaachout hai humara nahi,.. they laughed and dispersed.
Maan reached Geets house with lot of sweets saree and jewelery etc,..etc,... N.T. saw this assuming wat is going there she gritted her teeth her insides burned with great jealousy. frustration fr. continuous failures in her attempts disgust, pain of losing Maan hatred on geet burned her completely .She lost her patience , sences, akal everything. She decided again firmly to take drastic steps to get rid of geet fr. her path.
As soon as Maan entre house Geet came running to him .
She hugged him and took him to inside .Maan gave all the gifts to her. She looked at him wonderingt wat they r?
Geet:- ye sab kyahai? she opened them and looked them ,.. ye sab lane ki kya jarurat hai Maan? aap pehlehi bahut kuch diya phir se kyu?
Maan:- geet ye humari pehli karwachout haina? mai khali haath kaise asakthahu? pehli baar meri misty mere liye vrat rakhi aur mai bina kuch tofe khali haath kholu?
Geet:- Aap agaya mera vrat kholne keliye yahi mere liye bahut kuch hai maan.
Maan:- kaise na avu ye hum donoka vrat hai geet.
Geet:- chaliye aap jaldi fresh hoke ayiye , puja keliye der horaha hai. she gave him a towel and the dress she bought for him.
Maan looked wondered, ye dress? .. ye tumne mere liye layi? ye mera gift hai?
Get:- looked down nodding her head little bit shy,.. pata nahi aap ko pasand ayega ya nahi?
Maan:- bahut acchi hai geet.kamalki choice hai tumhari beautiful.
Geet:- aap ko pasand aya? thank.u. very much ab jaldi ayiye.
Maan went to washroom to fresh up wondering for her care about him.
They performed puja sitting toghether. Geet chanted every mantra and did every thing according to the riwaaj. She tied a red thread to his right wrist and asked him to tie to her wrist which is a simbol of holy ritual.
Here in Prasants house.
Arpitha arranged everything for puja . She called Prasant to know when he is comimg home.
Prasant:_ haa,.. arpitha,..
Arpitha:- when r u commg home? its time for puja.
Prasant:- Arpitha i may come late as i am going to maas house . I have to get some signatures fr. ur maa,. as tomorrow is the last date to claim the insurance policy We have to submit it by tomorrow at any cost so first i will go to maa , get signatures and will come to home.
Arpitha:- thik hai mai ek kaam karthi hu ,.mai bhi aathi hu maake ghar ,.. maa keliye kuch prasad aur sweets rakhli mujhe wo maa ko dena hai ,.. maa kabhi ye vrat nahi karthi haina ,.. phir hum saath me ghar loutayange ,.. mai dishu ko kamala ke pass chode ke aathi hu .[ kamala is a neighbour to arpitha]
Pra:- tho thik hai then i will meet u there.
And they started to Geets house to get a shock of their lives especially a big blow to Arpitha,... dekhna hai how will she reacts.
