Wow new chocolate.. erm.. I mean story. Loved both parts. Hope now mr. Perfectionist knw that HUMAN BEINGS can make mistakes and he can b lenient with his employees. Awesum and lovely story.

Next month his post was changed.

He felt bad, "Why should I be transferred when I am trying my best?"

"Look Maan, I am not used to keeping a secretary, I do my work on my own, you are just making simple things complicated" I told him

"Then why don't you just throw me out" he complained

"You very well know that you Grandmother Savitri Khurana has engaged us as your counselors, so it is she who will decided" I told him

He did not react

"Ok, from today you will be working under the accounts head, Yash Singhania. But you will report to me first thing in the morning and last thing before leaving"

He nodded

"And remember Yash is not a counselor, he is an accountant, so don't test his patience, he is a good person but at times he has an anger matching the MSK" I could not help smiling

He looked at me with wide eyes; he too gave a little smile.

In last 4 months this was the first time he smiled; it suited him.

He worked hard with Yash, as expected he had problems to cope up there also, every minute detail had to be checked and an error of one bill receipt could make the whole exercise futile.

He had tough time running after all departments to gather the list of their daily, weekly, monthly and annual expenditures.

Every list had to be approved by the accounts department, even the small amount eatables arranged for a small meeting had to be filed in.

The account of expenditures in cash and in credit has to be separately filed.

Every department was allotted a fixed amount of funds as expenditures daily, if the amount exceeds it had to be immediately reported and statement filed, and if the amount was left it again had to be reported in daily savings file of that particular department.

After 2 months I was taking Maan's report of progress and temper from Yash and was content to find that his progress was steady and he hardly lost temper while enquiring with the departments and very patiently made them understand.

One day I received a call from Savitri Khurana who reported that Maan's behavior had changed remarkably; he had started overlooking small mistakes, and helped the servants when needed. He smiled a lot and even talked with the family and discussed matters with patience.

Next day I called Maan.

"Come in"

"Good Morning Madam" he said

"Maan there's good news for you" I said

"What is it?" he smiled

"First you should smile more, it suits you"

He almost blushed hearing me

I coughed, "now, your progress here is good, and from next week you need only to report every Saturday."

"This means I can join KC" he asked

"Yes"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Yes"

"What about Arjun and Dev?"

"They have completed their therapies and until last heard have coped up with their habits" I informed

"So, I am the last on the list" he laughed

He looked too good with those laughter lines, even his voice sounded melodious.

He joined KC and came every Saturday to report.

After 2 months I went to KC to check his progress and was pleased to hear the employees praising the new avatar of their boss.

He welcomed me with a warm smile, "Madam, what a pleasant surprise. Hey Rosy get two coffees and vegetable cheese sandwiches"

His cabin was huge and comfortable.

I sat there for an hour observing him, he showed no signs of anger and was very patiently dealing with the problems.

I took his leave; he held my hand and kissed the back of my palm, "Thank you madam, for changing me to a human being, now I realize what a devil I have been"

I patted his head.

I was used to such praises.

As the year of the contract finished Maan was a new man.

Everyone appreciated my work and Khurana's felt obliged.

One fine day I received a call from Maan, "Hello, Maan here"

"Hi Maan how are you?"

"Well I am fine, how are you"

"Fine as always"

"Are you free in the evening?"

"Well, I have to see, any work"

"No, just wanted to ask you, will you like to have a cup of coffee with me"

"Well, I think I can have a cup with you but in the lunch hour"

"Ok which place will suit you?"

"Maybe the Barista near my office"

"I'll be there at 12:30"

"Ok"

Well is he been attracted to me, may be, it's high time I had a boyfriend.
