Loved the whole part'. The two couples involved here, who are not really officially going around & both of them have their stories stuck at one phase where the other mostly is unaware of their counterpart's feelings towards them. Yet each of them is at different phases. Loved how all of these are aptly incorporated at the same time & given each character their own space for growth & build up.

The dream has left Geet with lot of disturbance & turbulence within her otherwise so controlled, planned & smoothly sailing schedule of life. It is believed that a dream is manifestation of all that you repress into your sub-conscious as a defence mechanism to fight out all the conflicts & inner unresolved issues that you don't want to come face ' face with & push it down into your sub-consciousness to be dealt later or never. Here her defences are falling weaker as the moments she spend with Maan & the presence & place he has created in her life are gaining much more strength thereby breaking her strong shell that she had build to not be lured into a world of distractions form her set goals that she now is unknowingly perceiving this whole dream & thoughts associated with it to be. He has deeply impacted her. She has started feeling his presence & recollecting their memories of togetherness even in small & otherwise inconspicuous matters. Be it books, subjects, nature, surroundings, situations. 😆

The bold part is something I rarely believe in. Sometimes, yes, a dream is a manifestation of the suppressed desires but in my case, most of them aren't. 😆

Exactly. Her defences are falling weak and that has come out in the form of her associating anything and everything with Maan.

Maan's attire consisting of Blue shirt & black jeans'😳 is a charming combo; it could make anyone go weak in the knees' so Geet madam is no exception to this rule.

Can't say about Geet but you and I certainly are no exception! 😳

Maan himself is nervous about her reactions & the consequences of their last evening sharing & heart-heart talk in their now budding relationship be (though even if it's just friendship from her side, & much deeper on his part). Whether their bonding would take a turn for good & grow to be much more deeply rooted or would revert back drastically to square one of oblivion. Special persons & bonds do create this insecurity & apprehension in each one of us. It's not something negative but just shows that how important that person is or how precious that bond/relation is to you in your life. Same is with Maan he just doesn't want to lose out on Geet & their relation even if it remains to be at friendship level. Though he doesn't regret the sharing & bonding of last evening, but he is nervous & tensed about Geet's perception towards all that transpired & her feelings here onwards. Loved the way you put this all here in few sentences. Maan's attempt to make her feel at ease through different conversations between friends & giving her some space yet desperately longing to have a proper talk with her alone is quite commendable showing his personality and also how gentleman like approach towards it all.

Bold: You put it in words so easily! The feelings I wanted to convey for Maan in the chapter are here in these words!

Gentlemanly? Yes, he is trying to be as much a gentleman as he can, so that he doesn't scare geet away! 😆

Geet's hide & seek with Maan & attempts to not meet his eyes were all futile as it was quite understood & noticed by Maan, sparing the fact he didn't know the exact reasoning. I would just like to say that dearest Geet this is just the start of many things to follow 😆😆. Finally even you've succumbed to his charming & irresistible personality, just not in terms of looks but also in terms of his character, & inner self. Her not meeting the eyes just shows she is hiding her inner conflicts from him. As it's said - eyes are reflection to your inner self or the soul of a person. Lekin yeh kab tak kar payegi Geet. 😉

Yes, eyes are a reflection to your inner soul, especially for people who care for you. But tell me something, what 'many things to follow' are there?? 😃

Liked to see how you showed the whole conspiring to make these two to always remain in close vicinity to each other' be it just before entering the college in form of Anaya's call, at cafeteria & sharing of lunch, walking together for classes, & even Geeta ' all playing a role one way or the other bringing about some changes in M-G's bonding. Geeta's appearance & her talk with Geet pointing out to her the obvious feelings of Maan & her own developing attraction & feelings along with their awareness about each other was so well handled & realistic. Though the leg pulling & silent tease were there but she did make Geet see the mirror she was avoiding for her own fears towards it all. Indeed a true elder sister. Her talks did put sense in her & has lead her into some self introspection, contemplation speculation & at the same time observing Maan's behaviour towards her & how she gets affected by his presence. 😳

Remember the quotation by Paulo Coelho which I mentioned in reply to one of your comments earlier? Well, the whole universe conspires in bringing you (read Maan) to what you really desire! 😉

It's often the case that when a third person voices out something, only then you realise that it is a possibility and that you've been overlooking it. Same has been the case with Geet and her cousin...

Ayush's attempts in winning over Anaya & in making her see the feelings & love he harbours for her were so cute & so unlike Ayush. He is attempting to be someone he isn't & even whom Anya herself isn't acquainted with & to him she can never bond as she bonds towards the real Ayush. Maan's sharing of his gyaan on this was so good. Liked the bonding between these two buddies & how they share about their life's happenings among each other & do seek comfort & advice from each other. 👏

We try to become something we are not when we wish to impress someone, and that's what Ayush has been doing. Poor guy doesn't know originality is treasured more! 😆

Maan wants to go for a jog against Mummy dearest wishes. And why did you stop there?😡 Who is this person on whom Maan has landed & has in his embrace? 😕
