hope I didnot bore you... but me more angry on geet than maan... not for getting attracted... because its beyond ones' control... but acting on it... then blaming the other is not going down well ! again getting attracted to another when married also brings in more unpleasantness!
You didn't bore me at all - I love long, insightful comments! and I think I agree with most of what you said: although Maan is to blame, Geet is ultimately the one who is most at wrong - but I think what you call double standards is her confusion - as you stated, she is in two minds and she doesn't really know what to do or where to turn at this moment.
I think for Geet, the guilt is a way of redemption to herself for what she did. She believed in marriage and one soulmate quite strongly and thought she found that in Dev, until Maan came along and changed everything.
I'm not condoning Geet's actions, I'm simply looking at her circumstance from another point of view :) she is blaming Maan for putting her in this predicament but she is ultimately punishing herself by choosing to walk away from him. I think shoes would have been aimed at me if she'd have ran into Maan's arms 😆
I agree, infidelity is a messy and unpleasant issue indeed, and also controversial - which is why I wanted to bring it up in this SS, just to gauge opinions and thoughts. I cannot thank you enough for your feedback and insight, it's highly appreciated 🤗
