After 3 years…

"ummm…….Pehla pehla pyaar hai………Pehli pehli baar hai………Jan ke bhi anjaanaa…kaisa mera yaar hai……..ummm……pehla pehla pyaar hai….ummm umm umm um ummm" geet sang along with the song which is playing in volume as high as possible and danced humming the tune and cooking in the kitchen of their(maan and geet's) house in delhi.

"na na na na…naa na naaa……na na na na….. naa na naaa" she hummed the song while keeping the rice in the electric cooker and she came back to the black marble stove slab and started cutting the vegetables.

"tu rurururr ru ru…..tu ru ruru rurur ru ru…." She sang the music as she finished with vegetables. She took the vessel from the cupboard and placed it on the stove.

Switching on the stove she poured the oil and started with her recipe to make mixed veg paneer curry.

She kept the song on repeat and the song is repeating. The curry almost came to end and she kept on stirring.

Suddenly she felt two hand wrapping her by her waist from behind and hugging her so tight.

She instantly smiled as he kept his chin on her shoulder

"do minute maan its almost over" geet said.

"did I ask?" maan smiled.

"don't u wanna eat?" geet asked as she stopped stirring.

"I wanna eat….but…its u" maan turned her to him as she blushed looking at him.

Maan held her chin up and closed the distance between their lips. Maan started the kiss but geet ended the kiss….both panting smiled at each other. Maan reached her neck and placed his lips and started kissing. But geet pushed him a little with a naught grin.

"not now maan….u had to leave for office" geet said.

"oops right…..how could I forget about it…..my boss is so strict…..so angry….omg….i m so afraid of my boss u know" maan said so sweetly and innocently.

"achaa….then u should have ur lunch and go back to ur office quickly" geet said.

"par wo kya hai na geet…..today my boss dint come to office na…so I had plenty of time" maan grinned.

"awww….not good maan….if boss is not in office is this the way u behave?" geet made a big O.

But maan grinned and again started kissing her neck and shoulders.

But geet is geet she slapped his arm lightly and moved from him.

She arranged the dishes on the table while maan sat there with a pout.

"now eat and go to office quickly. U should complete the last minute details of that article….it should be published 2mrw….aur haan yash bhai se bhi kehdo to do the editing" geet said as she sat on the table opposite to him.

"ji mem saab" maan bent his head as acceptance while geet smiled at him.

"so what did u cook today" maan said opening the dishes infront of him.

"wow…..biryani….wats special today?" maan exclaimed.

Geet just smiled at him.

"geet did u kept leave for office to cook biryani???" maan asked.

"uff maan tum bhi na…." geet shrugged her hand.

"to kya special?" maan asked.

Geet blushed "haan special to hai"

Maan looked at her confused "geet what are u saying?"

Geet blushed again.

"geet r u saying what I am thinking?" maan exclaimed.

"yes maan" geet blushed more.

"omg geet" maan jumped from his seat and picked geet in his arms and twirled her round and round.

"maan maan maan…..stop it….plzz…..maaann" geet laughed.

"no way….i m so so sooo happy" maan shouted.

He kept her down and hugged her "omg geet now I m a father…its awesome news u know……I love u geet….i love u a lot honey"

Geet smiled. Maan immediately captured her lips and gave her a long kiss.

As they parted geet literally pushed maan out of the house and ordered him to go to office.

Geet opened a magazine on her own and maan became a professional photographer…she prints his photos in her magazine….maan don't give his pics to any other magazine.

Maan entered his office and met yash. He shared the news with yash and then he called pari and gave the news to her too. Every one are so happy.

"meera u need to come yaar…she is ur frnd yaar." Maan complained.

"I know maan….even I want to come…but kya karu dev cant manage abhi alone" meera tried to explain.

"who are saying to leave abhi? I m asking u three to come yaar" maan said.

"taking abhi with me is almost equal to buying hell" meera exclaimed.

"he is a good boy meera….just a bit naughty" maan said.

"ya ya good boy….only u have to say that" meera said.

"so u three are coming na" maan said.

"did u leave me any option?" meera asked.

"no" maan smiled.

"then u know the answer…we r coming" meera said.

"should I book the flight ticket?" maan asked.

"no maan dev will look after it….we will reach by evening" meera said and disconnected the call.

Meera and dev had a three year old son…abhinav khurana…he is very naughty and don't let meera to even take a breath when he is a home.

Maan planned a surprise for geet next day evening after he got the news of his coming baby. He invited meera and dev and then yash pari are in plan.

"yash is everything ready?" maan asked on phone.

"bilkul maan" yash replied.

"the after half an hour ask pari to come home and take geet with her" maan said.

"ya maan I will do that" pari replied as she pulled the phone out of yash's hands.

Yash and pari married few months before and now living happily.

"ok pari I sent u few packets for geet did u get them?" maan asked.

"oh yes…I got them" pari replied.

"did u see them?" maan asked.

"yes maan I saw them….everything is so beautiful……and I m sure today geet is gonna look as an angel" pari chuckled.

"thanks pari…ok then…call me when u start to come back with geet" maan said.

"sure" pari said and disconnected the call.

"pari I cant come yaar….i have so much work at home" geet cribbed.

Pari sat infront of geet in her cabin.

"how can u say like that geet….am I not ur frnd….cant u spend sometime with me?" pari asked dramatically.

"its not like that pari" geet tried to say but pari cut her.

"after u got married every minute u spend with maan maan and maan….how many times did u meet me alone?" pari said.

"what is there with alone pari? We r meeting almost everyday…..every weekend either u and yash come home and me and maan will come to ur house…then whats more u want?" geet said.

"geet always yash and maan will be there….now I want only u to come….no maan no yash….lets have some girly time" pari said.

"u r gone mad pari" geet said.

"yes….u r right…I m gone mad…..isiliyeh mein tum ko please kar rahi hoon" pari pouted.

"stop ur melodrama pari…."geet said.

"ooo now u feel my words as melodrama? What more u wanna say to me geet…..say it now….break my heart" pari said over dramatically.

Geet folded her hands before pari and said "teekai meri maa….lets go out today…now stop ur drama"

Pari smiled at her and pulled her instantly and left the office.

"pari yeh tum kya kar rahi ho? Y r u getting me ready?" geet asked as pari applied the blush on geet's cheeks.

"told u geet u had to go to some party" pari said.

"what party geet? U know na I don't like any parties" geet said.

"I know I know" pari said but continued putting makeup on her.

As she held the kajal stick before geet's eyes geet instantly jerked back.

"kya hua?" pari asked confused.

"let me" geet said and took the kajal stick and applied it herself.

"ab kya?" geet asked irritatedly at pari.

Pari smiled and gave her the packet maan gave.

"whats this?" geet asked.

"see urself" pari said.

Geet opened the packet and saw a beautiful saree in it with a matching ornament set.

"maan" she said instantly.

"oh…u got it!" pari murmered.

"whats going on pari?" geet turned to pari and asked.

"nothing geet" pari said trying to sound as if nothing.

But geet looked at her with questioning eyes.

"uh…wo…mmm…I don't think I know everything" pari said as a matter of fact.

Thanks to maan. He knows geet so well so he dints say the whole plan to pari. He knows geet will confront pari when she opens his gift.

"u can always tell me what u know pari" geet said still giving her glares.

"well maan called me and gave me this packet and asked me to get u ready in them and then to drop u at ur house after he give a mis call." Pari said.

Well now should thank pari's acting skills….she so good said half true and half lie. She actually had to go with geet to MP not to just drop her and she even know who else are coming to MP tonight.

Well MP means maaneet's palace….they named their house. Maaneet built their own house…their small cute world for themselves. An individual house not so big but not even small….modren yet simple…with full of love.

Just imagine a best house for maaneet guys…I was unable to get more good looking house than this in google….hope u imagine.

"so maan is planning another romantic surprise dinner for me" geet smiled knowing him. Huh but this time she dint get the whole surprise.

"ya" pari gave her a nervous smile and thanked geet's babaji.

So here after 2 hours geet and pari are ready to go.

"did maan give u a call?" geet asked as she sat in the passenger seat of pari's car.

"ya" pari said as she started the car and drove to km.

As they entered MP the whole building is dark with not even the lights in the garden on.

"whats this? Everything is so dark….why no one switched on the lights?" geet complained.

"what do I know?" pari said as she parked the car and got down.

"ya how can u know" geet said as she walked to the door of the main hall. its open. She pushed the door open.

"uff ye maan bhi na….he never closes the door" geet went in as pari followed.

"I thought u are just dropping me" geet said.

"and I thought u are scared of dark" pari said.

"hmm" geet agreed and both moved in.

"maaan…….maaan where are u….now come out" geet shouted.

"geet why are u shouting…we will go and search" pari said.

"ya right" geet said and switched on the light in the main hall.

"pari closed her eyes and murmered "why is the light working? I though maan would have worked on the surprise well…now geet saw the whole dcor and where is maan"

"pari…pari kya hua?" geet jerked pari by her sholder. "open ur eyes"

" nothing" pari smiled nervously and opened her eyes and got shock.

There is nothing there….no dcor….i mean no extra dcor….the hall is as usual…everything is in place.

"what happen?" geet asked again.

"nothing" pari said and moved upstairs and geet followed.

"just then pari received a text.

'pari r u crazy what r u searching for? We r on the terrace…bring her there and ha don't forget to close her eyes before u open terrace door'

Its from yash. Pari sighed and spoke.

"geet I don't think anyone are there here…lets go out" pari said.

"now what? So maan messaged u to get me to some restaurant?" geet asked with hands on her hips.

Pari know geet will say this…that's y she said to leave.

"I think so" pari smiled.

"then know this I m not coming….i m damn angry on maan now" geet said and moved towards their bedroom.

"geet did u complete all the work? U said u had some work at home?" pari asked.

"oh ya I forgot….i had to pick the cloths from terrace and fold them and keep in rack and then the dinner….i had to cook dinner then…" geet said

Pari cut her in middle…this is what she is waiting for…

"then start doing" pari said.

Geet looked at her suspicious isn't she here to take her to maan's surprise?

"ya" geet said and moved to terrace door and pari followed her.

"why are u following me…sit in the hall and watch tv as u usually do" geet said.

"only when someone is at home…I don't want to sit alone in hall" pari said.

As they reached the terrace door pari instantly closed geet's eyes from behind.

"pari yeh tum kya kar rahi ho" geet said

But in few seconds pari opened the door and led her in and now opened her eyes.

As geet adjusted her eyes she heard people screaming.

CONGRATULATION GEEETTT

She saw meera coming to her and hugging her tightly.

"meera I cant breath" geet said.

"oops sorry" meera said and came out of hug.

"u know geet I m so so sooo happy for u both" meera pointed at maan who stood there smiling at them.

Then one by one yash and dev hugged her and congratulated her.

Geet looked at maan smiling and thanking him through her eyes.

"hey even I m here" came a voice from behind all of them. Al looked at the source of voice smiling and geet bent down as abhi ran in to geet;s arms.

"how is my champ" geet smiled.

"mast" abhi said.

"geet this is not it….u have another surprise" maan said as he came to them and kept his hand on her shoulder.

"what maan?" geet said as he turned her around to face the entrance.

Instantly geet eyes watered and she instantly ran into the person's arms hugging him tightly. She cried in his arms as she said "papa"

He hugged geet back with same love and tears in his eyes "geet beta kaise ho tum….kitne saal hogaya tumhe dekhke"

Geet came out of the hug and looked at him lovingly "mein teek hoon papa…aur aap…aur mama kaise hai…pata hai mein kitni ghabragayi hoon waha se aaneke baad…..kitni phikar hogayi mujhe aao ki par aap mujse wo waada kyun karvayi papa….mein wapas bhi nahi aasakthi hoon" geet cried.

"sorry geet beta par tumhe pata hai na mein tere bhale keliyeh hi sab kuch kiya" geet's father told her.

Geet is from HP and she shifted to amritsar when she is in her 7^th class and she studied in amritsar being in school hostel until 12. For every holidays she went back to HP and spent time with them. She had darji the head of the family. Tayaji and tayiji their son brij who is elder to her and their daughter rajji younger to her and her papa mohider and mama rano live with them.. they all are conservative…darji and tayaji dint like girls in their family to get education and that too that far in a city but mohider is not like that he pleaded them for geet's education and they somehow agreed. But as she completed her 12^th they planned to get her married. Mohider dint like this. He tried to speak to them but they dint listen.

Geet came back to HP and got the shock of her life…..she dremed of becoming a journalist but all her dreams came crashing down. But her father and mother helped her to runaway from ther. Then geet came to Mumbai as she know if she goes back to Amritsar brij will come in search of her and wont think twice to kill her for defaming them. Pari her friend from school helped her and she joined in college in Mumbai.

"mama kaha hai?" geet asked.

"yaha hoon mein…..tumhe tere papa ki aalava kuch dikhai nahi dega na" her mom joked to make the situation light.

"mama" geet hugged her and she reciprocated the hug.

"I missed u people a lot…..6 saal hogaya" geet said.

"haan geet…ab phikar mat karo geet…hum aagaya hai na" ranno said lovingly caressing her daughter's hair.

Geet broke the hug and looked at her expectantly "mama u will stay here na…u will not leave me na"

Rano and mohinder smiled at her and kept a hand on her sholder "no geet we will be here with u now…"mohinder said.

"don't stress urself geet now u have a life in u" ranno said.

Geet smiled at them and looked at maan lovingly.

Maan came towards her and hugged her from side.

"ma papa come lets have dinner" maan said. Geet looked at him lovingly as he addressed her parents a ma and papa.

They all started to walk to table when a sound stopped they.

"not fair…..not at all fair….jow can u forget me maan….aur geet tu bhi" came a voice from behind. All turned to look back while maan rolled his eyes and geet smiled.

"aapko koi invitation chahiyeh aaneko?" maan said sarcastically while the person infront pouted.

"maan don't be mean" geet slapped him ligtly on his arm and walked towards the person.

"dadima" geet said and bent down to take her blessing while dadi…I mean savitri devi held geet by her shoulder and pulled her into a hug.

"geet beta u should not bend at this time" dadi said lovingly and hugged her tigtly.

All smiled at them. Geet pulled out of hug as she said "dadi u dint tell me u r coming back from varnasi"

"I just came to see u beta. Maan informed me that u r pregnant and I am so happy for u both" dadi said.

"yeh kya dadi…no u r not going back…u r staying her with u…that's all…maan say her na" geet turned to maan.

"as if she listens to me" maan said sarcastically.

"maaan" geet said angrily.

Maan sighed and walked to them "dadi u r really feeling alone without u…and u r the only one left after mom and dad….i cant be away from u dadi….plz stay with us…u know na how much I love u" maan said sincerely.

Dadi smiled at him through tears "I know maan…..i m just staying there as I love that place but staying with u people will bring u happiness means I will stay here itself"

Dadi hugged maan and maan reciprocated the hug.

Dev came from behind and patted maan back bring them of of hug.

"kya maan…what did u say…after ur dad and mom u have only dadi? Then wat about me?" dev said.

"and me?" meera said from behind faking anger.

"aur mein?" geet pouted from beside maan.

"mein bhi" yash spoke fromm behind.

"mein bhi hoon bhai" pari said.

Maan smiled at them all " but dadi is first" he winked at them.

"aaahh" all said in union and laughed out.

"challo dadi lets eat something" geet said and all again walked back to table. All sat at the table and started serving when geet suddenly looked around and said "where is abhi?"

Everyone looked around and dint find him at table.

"I will see" geet said and got up.

Geet walked the whole terrace and dint find him atlast she turned back to leave when she head sme noice from the stairs to the water tank and she walked there. there she saw abhi sitting angry. She went towards him and sat beside him.

"kya hua?" geet asked him but he turned away his face.

Geet came to other side and spoke again " wont u tell me?"

He looked at her angrily.

"she hugged him and he hugged her back instantly.. she pulled him on to his lap and asked " so u are angry….but y?"

"u all left me there….u dint speak to me" abhi pouted.

Geet smiled " how can we ignore u…..u r the champ right…..our dear cutiepie" geet pinched his nose.

She started tickling him and he laughed loudly.

She picked him in her arms and walked back to the table. Everyone smiled looking at them and their bond.

Geet stopped at the table and showed her fake anger to them " who did ignore my champ here?"

All looked as if scared as maan said " ahh ignore my champ no way…who is that?" maan stood up and took abhi from her arms and made him stand on the table.

"u" abhi said.

All laughed as maan made a face "me?" he asked abhi.

"yes. u said I m ur first priority but u said dadi today" abhi pouted angrily.

Maan smiled at his antics "aww…sorry champ"

He came to his ears and whispered " u r a big boy now champ u should understand na…dadi is old so I said that to make her happy and u know na u r always my first priority"

"sachi?" abhi jumped up.

"muchi" maan smiled at him.

All laughed along with them and had their dinner.

Dadi, mohider and rano stayed with maan and geet in delhi and took care of geet while maan maintained all the office work keeping geet away from work.

After 8 and half months.

"maan" geet said as she stood before the mirror.

"haan geet" maan sat on the bed looking at her intently.

"I m fat" geet said.

"no geet u r not" this is the 100^th time maan saying this.. as months passed geet gained and everyday she said that.

Geet pouted looking at mirror.

"will u leave me?" geet asked with teary eyes.

Uff maan thought and walked to her 'uff her mood swings'

"geet how can u even think of that? Look jaan I love u" he said and bent down on his knees and carssed her tummy "and our baby"

Geet smiled at his words but instantly shouted "aahhh"

"kya hua geet" maan stood up panicking seeing her shouting.

"maan pain…its….its.." geet is unable to complete.

"I think she is getting labour pain" rano said as she entered the room quickly.

"but its still due" maan said panicking.

By now dadi and mohider ran to their room.

"maan don't panic lets take her to hospital" dadi said.

"I will take out the car" maan said leaving geet to them and walked to door but geet's voice stopped him

"maan plz stay wit me' she said shouting in pain.

Maan ran back to her and picked her in his arms and mohider said " I will take out the car"

After few hours…

Maan stroded from left to right and right to left before the labour room tensed.

All along with yash, pari stood outside in same tense covering their faces. Few minuted later a nurse came out and said "mr.khurana"

Maan instantly walked to her as everyone stood up looking at them.

"congrats Mr.Khurana…..its a baby girl…both mother and baby are safe and sound u can go and see" she said and maan instantly ran in smiling.

There geet sat on the bed with a bundle of joy in her hands. Maan walked to her and sat beside her.

Geet extened the baby to maan and maan took her carefully into his arms.

"what do u want to name her maan?" geet looked at him with teary eye.

"she is my happiness geet…our love…my princess….light of our lives…..our DIA" maan smiled through tears.

Geet held him arm and kept her head on his arm looking at her baby "DIA"

Soon all the member came in and had their turn to hold the little dia in there arms.

And they lived happily ever after….
