I wrote both the stories simultaneously just to balance my brain..When I felt myself getting immensely crazy or illogical while writing in pv forum,i used to update this story after that and when I felt excessive stimulation of my metaphor as well as philosophical nerves while writing colors,i used to run pv forum to write something complete crazy...😆
In that case I really feel honoured, because you consider me as your special reader😳
Seriously, this SS of yours has affected me a lot, in a good way, even my bestie on IF says so.
I was so intrigued by the red rose, that I immediately started my research on roses, and read on their significance. And when I told all to my fiend, she was like, Doll, this FF has really had an effect on you. I presume you might be knowing it, still I wanna share it with you.
Green rose is said to be symbolising diagonally opposite things and as you mentioned the popular meaning is fertility. It's a sign of plenty and copiousness, signifies the constant rejunevation of spirit and thus is considered as a messenger of cheerfulness.
Black rose signifies death and promise that soon you will know something you do not know yet. But you should not view it from its negative POV only, since often a beautiful deep rose can bloom from a blackened bud.
The blue rose is a vision of absolute fragility and delicate grace and symbolises the impossible, it also means mystery. Since, it is rare and often a man made one, like cannot be really found from nature, it also stands fro something which is hardly within one's grasp, thus it is admired and revered as the unattainable dream.
The purple one symbolises enchantment, desire and proceeding cautiously, it also send a message of love at first sight but the bad thing is that it signifies enchantment the effect of which is magical and so can also die off without warning, the re is no indication for the permanence of love.
The red one as we all know means deep romantic love and desire and also a love which is forever growing in strength and away from monotony.
The white one means purity, innocence, silence, secrecy, humility and youthfulness, spiritual love and an unspoiled and untarnished world as well as everlasting love.
The pink one is for appreciation, perfect happiness, admiration, gentleness, and asking for one's belief and trust in you and signifies the gentle beginning of a wonderful relationship.
Yellow one represents joy, gladness, friendship, delight, promise and remember me but also Jealousy as per Victorians if am not wrong, I kinda forgot what I had read here. But also your care for someone, freedom and contentment.
Orange one is fascination, desire and enthusiasm, your pride for someone and it is said that when you are completely besotted, bewitched by someone you give the orange one which carries a tinge of the burning flame in its blossom.
And finally the brown one is to show a man that you love him, it is intimate and show a masculine appeal and it also conveys a feeling of warmth and stability.
Thanks for the all the valuable information regarding roses..I am feeling happy that my work has affected you this way..Oh it made me feel that i have written something "worth" for my readers..+i would understand the significance of color if somebody would bring "roses" for me in future..well,on personal level I don't like people choosing flowers as a gift..Plucking a flower from plant is like separating a child from mother...Nature has destined its life on that plant and by plucking we just separate it from its "place"...I would appreciate if people start gifting "rose seedlings" instead of "rose" itself...Ok..i should stop my blabbering here...Thank you once again for liking it...
