They all were nervous, Priya made her way downstairs and stood in front of everyone.

Raj: Priya, what happened? What did Geet say?

She was silent.

Gayatri: bol beta..

Priya (nervously): woh Geet ne.. woh usne...

Payal: woh kya Priya, jaldi bol

Priya saw the worried faces, and could not take it anymore and went into laughter.

Priya: oh my god, just look at all your faces.. hahahaha

Priya: aunty, stop worrying and get the sweets ready...

Priya: Geet said YES..!!!!!

Everyone: what, really...

Everyone's responses came together..

Flashback:

Priya made her way to Geet's room, before she entered she heard Simi talking to Geet.

Simi: Chachi, Maan chachu is really nice, I like him a lot

Geet smiled.

Ahana: why are you calling my Chachu, your Chachu?

Simi: because he might get married to my Chachi.

Simi said pointing to Geet. Ahana turned to Geet and said:

Ahana: if Simi calls my Chachu, Chachu so can I call you Chachi?

Geet (smiled): yes beta you can.

Ahana hugged and Geet and Geet hugged her back.

Priya came running in scaring Geet.

Priya: OMG!!! Does that mean you have...accepted .. you said yes...right?

Geet just nodded and looked down. Priya hugged her tightly.

Priya: I gotta go and tell this everyone. That's why I came up. Thank you children, you made my life easy. Otherwise getting this madam to speak up is like making a horse sit on a elephant. (please excuse the lame example, I could not think of anything).

Back to the Present:

Gayatri (happy): what, Geet has finally agreed

Dadima: congratulations to you all

Gayatri: same to you

Everyone was feeding one another sweets, sharing hugs. Maan was on top of the moon today. Geet has said yes for their marriage.

They decided on the wedding date and everything else. The Khurana's wanted Geet to be the eldest daughter in law as soon as possible, but they knew how much Gayatri and family wanted to do for Geet's wedding.

The date had been finalised for three weeks later. Once again sweets were fed, Payal and Priya stuffed sweets after sweets into Maan's mouth.

Dadima and Dev laughed at his helplessness. Anwesha thought of something.

Anwesha: what is this? You both are feeding my bro but don't I get a chance to feed my Bhabhi?

Naintara: haan yeh baat toh sahi hai.. We should also get a chance to feed our Bhabhi

Anwesha: lekin hamare Bhabhi toh sharam ke mare neeche hi nahi aarahi

Naintara and Anwesha went up to Geet's room with a box of mithai along with Payal and Priya, they saw Geet looking out of the window and a smile was playing on her lips.

Anwesha: what are you thinking Bhabhi ji

Geet was startled with the sudden voice, she turned around and saw them all. She got embarrassed and shied.

Naintara: Bhabhi, the thing was everyone had the mithai of your marriage getting fixed apart from you, so we thought we will come and feed you.

Anwesha: now open your mouth up wide.

Anwesha and Naintara stuffed two laddoos at the same time, Geet somehow managed to finish eating them.

Both of them hugged Geet and expressed how happy they were as Geet will now become a part of their family.

Geet felt like she had known them for ages, she mingled with them easily, and no one would be able to tell that they were meeting for the first time today.

Geet also enquired about Naintara's pregnancy. Dev had come up to call Naintara and Anwesha down as they were leaving.

Dev: Congratulations Bhabhi

Downstairs Maan was with Simi and Ahana. He whispered something into Simi's ears and she ran off.

Whilst everyone was near the front door having the last minute discussion about the wedding, Simi dragged Geet up to her room saying that she wanted to show something.

Geet: Simi beta everyone is waiting downstairs, I'll see it later.

Simi: no chachi, I want you to see it now.

Simi pushed Geet into her room and closed the door.

Geet: Simi

Maan: Geet..

Geet went numb for a bit. Maan was in her room, she had tried to avoid coming in front of him or standing anywhere near ever since she said yes. She knew she would not be able to talk in front of him, due to shyness.

Maan: Geet I am really sorry for calling you like this, but you had been ignoring me all evening which has gotten me worried, I just want to know whether you are happy with this marriage, no one is pressuring you right..

Maan: if you are not happy, I'll talk to everyone, you don't have to sacrifice your happiness for anyone, I'll call this marriage off. Nothing matters more to me than your happiness. I'll handle everything, you don't need to worry at all.

Geet was trying to stop him from talking further but Maan went on and on. He did not let her speak so she had to place her hand on his mouth in order to prevent him from talking further.

Geet: chup, bilkul chup

It was Maan who was numb now, he could not move. Geet was standing right in front of him with her hand covering his mouth.

Geet: I heard that you talk less but gosh, when you start talking you don't seem to stop

She said giggling a little, she then realised that she had her hand on his mouth so she removed it immediately.

Geet (embarrassed): umm sorry, woh you did not give me a chance to speak so I had to.. My hand..

Maan (embarrassed): sorry

Geet: why are you saying sorry, it was my fault. I should have avoided you like that. It was just because I was.. feeling shy.

Maan smiled.

Geet: umm I am truly happy with this marriage, I have no objection, no pressure, nothing.

Maan was really happy now, she had expressed her true feeling about his marriage in front of him. Geet had a head down due to shyness.

Maan: thank you Geet. I promise I will never give you a chance to regret this decision of yours.

Maan and Geet were having an eye lock.

Maahiii maahii ve maahii maahii ve

Just then there was a knock on the door which broke the eye lock, they both looked down due to shyness and being embarrassed for losing themselves in the moment.

Priya: ahem, if you both have had your moment alone then everyone is waiting downstairs

Geet opened the door with Maan behind her, she saw Raj and Priya there with smiles on their faces.

Raj (playfully): what was happening? (he said winking at Maan).

Maan: shut up.

Priya took Geet along with her downstairs and Raj and Maan followed behind. Everyone was waiting for them.

Geet took blessings from Dadima and hugged Naintara and Anwesha. Maan took blessings from Gayatri and hugged Rajeev.

They all made the way out, leaving Maan and Geet inside (as they were walking slowly) with Simi and Ahana.

Maan: Simi, thank you

Simi: it's okay Chachu

She gave Maan a hug, Geet smiled at them. Just then Ahana came up to Geet.

Ahana: Chachi aap hamare saath ghar nahi chalogi?

Maan heard this and turned towards them. Geet kneeled down so she was level with Ahana.

Geet: Chachi baad mein aayegi. (line taken from movie Vivah)

Maan smiled. Geet shied as she knew Maan was looking at her.

Simi and Ahana had run outside as their moms were calling. Maan and Geet slowly made their way outside too.

Maan (quietly): take care, bye

Geet nodded and whispered: bye
