Hey Onir,
This is the fourth time I am reading your comment and can you believe I still have nothing to say?😆
You gave words to the story so beautifully that I think back and wonder if there are all those things in the story in reality? Or is it that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder...?
Unrequited love was something we all see in one form or the other but my favorite one among all was definitely Om Shanti Om's. Even today when I watch the movie, I get entirely shaken up by that one song Main Agar Kahoon.
I wouldn't be lying if the driving force of the story's theme is that one song.
Frankly speaking this one story was a bit sugary, much to my embarrassment😳😆 but I am glad that this story had touched so many. I have to speak about Avi here. Avi, You have told that you re-read it. Frankly, that had me widen my eyes and say a haw!😆 because that coming from a writer like you is definitely rewarding. And don't mind me If I do a little happy dance here
Also Onir, though I tend to be words gawaar at situations like these, I am sending you a heart felt thank you for making my day.
PS: I am glad that you noticed Butterscotch and Chocolate. That was mentioned due to someone's insistence (Read Palin's)

I have to say that swing scene is so perfect. We have a swing in the backyard and that's where we usually end up after the day so like Sheesh you are stalking me too. I loved that scene.

Have you read my comment for the 4th time... Oh my seriously? Now now That's quite a revelation, as I didn't expect that. I just wrote what I seriously & honestly felt & what touched me... So you need to consider yourself the source as it was your writing that lead to unfolding of all the words in the comment. 😃

Beauty does lie in the eyes of the beholder. But yes for one to see it too it needs to be presented in a similar way as in you need to bring it into the presence of the other or to put it infront of the eyes of the beholder for appreciating & cherishing it's true beauty, Right?

OSO's Main Agar Kahoon is one of my favourites too. It does stir some deep felt emotions each time I hear it. You added a new dimension & feather to it by your way of interpreting & putting it forth. Yes I agree it very well does summarise unrequitted love but the lens you gave for it just brought it again into memory & the emotions depicted just was briiliantly done.

Avi, even I need to thank her . 🤗 She has recommended so many great stories to me, though it takes time to read through all but she is too good a writer herself. 😊 It was also her great & good timing in giving me the link to your thread on a weekend so I could read it at leisure & then comment such a lamba chauda comment ( I was tend to forget that my flow of words to always exceed normal lengths... for example now... but it just happens can't help... I am a blabber mouth... )

Again you don't need to thank me at all dear, it was all my pleasure to come across such a beautiful piece of writing. 😃

I loved butterscotch & chocolate ki meethi & sweet si love story... Thanks to the person (palin) to be insisting to give them a closure 🤗 These two teddies were my cuddlesome leads to this SS. 😆😆

Yeah, the swing exists and on summer sunday afternoons when I fall asleep on it with my long hair flowing in the breeze he looks at me with a smile...

scratch that...

with my short hair in disarray and a bit of drool on the corner of my mouth...he shakes me to ask what's for lunch...

damn... why can't I sleep on the swing gracefully...did anyone ever ask a heroine for lunch...😕
