CHAPTER 1

The sun who was hiding from the world all through the night was slowly coming out to kick everyone from bed but it had no effect on Maan Singh Khuranna who was sleeping in his king-sized bed wrapped in royal blue duvet ''''''. His room was filled with paintings and antique works not that maan loves art but he just loves pampering his pride ''''''.is he having a peaceful sleep ? no one can answer that not even MSK himself '''''''..It is long time since maan started to take the help of alcohol to help him sleep '''''..

Its not often right to blame only the person for his wrong living style his childhood , his surroundings play imp part '''''''''' Maan's parents made power and money accessible to him in very early age which made him the MSK he is now ''''''''..

If not for constand buzzing of his phone maan would have never woke up because he had really long and passionate night with '''''. Never mind that was usual for him '''''''.Being the most eligible bachelor of the country , the sole owner of Khuranna group with killing looks its shame from his part not to be surrounded by women ''''''' Not being in constant relationship never bothered him as in his society it was always business deal '''''''.He had new girl or girls for every day '''Emotions were never in the list ''''..According to him 'GOOD GIRLS' all died in previous era '''''''Not that anyone from his society despised his character as they all shared the same view '''''. Maan who lived in the one part of the world thought that the other part never existed '''''.

Maan lazily took his phone ''.

" good morning sir " he heard his staff Adi

" ummm'''.. morning " maan was still sleepy

" Sir aren't you out of bed yet " adi asked unsure

" cut the crap and come to the matter " maan said

After his parents's death three years ago in an accident maan took up the charge of his company '''''' Thanks to his unmatchable business bran the company reached greater heights but still maan would never compromise his personal life for work ''''''''.' WORK HARD PARTY HARDER ' his motto ''''''.

" Sir today we have to visit life care hospital they have arranged a small function to honor u for sponsoring 10 patients under-poverty line " adi said

Maan not though much into all this charity stuffs was compelled to do all this occasionally for Income tax issues ''''''''

Maan walked into the hospital with fake smile ''''' working on Sunday he hated ''''..

Everyone talked great things about him for which he gave polite smile '''''' When he was asked to speak he just pretended to read the paper given by adi as if he had prepared ''''..

As the last part maan was to visit the 10 patients who he had sponsored '''''''.meeting the sick defo couldn't be special but maan pretended a sympathetic look '''''.. finally they reached the 10th and last patient '''''.

She was a girl in her late teens''''.. she looked p[ale and kept simply staring ''''''''.. maan was hit by sudden flame of familiarity '''''''''He recognized her from somewhere but don't know where '''''''' her eyes , he had seen those eyes very close '''''''''.In spite of all medicine he could smell her familiar fragrance '''''''.

" she is geet " doctor said

Geet , he had never heard the name then why sudden attraction '''

" she was brought here nine months ago she was three months pregnant then '''''''''.. her state nad medical reports suggests that she may be physically abused ''''''''''. No family came so we didn't know what to do ''''''''If u haven't sponsored her we would have transferred to mental asylum'''''''.." the doctor said

"menatal asylum ? " maan's voice was low

" she is mentally disturbed ''''''.. her physical wounds have heeled but she still fears a lot ''''''' at times she screams at night ''''''.. she doesn't even recognize her own son ''''''' we mechanically make her feed ''''''''' you have helped not only her but also her son "

'* she has a son ? she looks so young to be a mother '''''.. poor girl *' maan thought

" can I see her son ? " even maan didn't know why he wanted to see her son

.The nurse brought geet's son '''''''''''.. Maan looked at him carefully '''''''he wasn't like his mother but his features were familiar '''''''''' his eyes were glowing and maan couldn't help smiling '''''

" you didn't try to find her family " maan asked

The doctor nodded no

" where is she from ? " maan was curious

" shimla " the doc said

Maan left the hospital but her thoughts never left him /'''''''''Throughout the drive he was thinking about her ''''''''''.. her eyes were emotionless still it affected him '''''''''" geet '''''''shimla " he repeated to himself when the bitter realization hit him '''''''''..

CHAPTER 2

12 MONTHS AGO

Maan was in a village near shimla'''''''.. that day was the worst in his life ''''' he lost a big contract from central government that to just by Rs.10000'''''''''..he was like a volcano bursting on everyone ''''''.he began to drink bottle after bottle of alcohol ''''''

" listen " maan called to his local servent who came to place his food

" will I get a girl here ? " maan asked taking a sip

He was so much in need of company to break stress

" excuse me sir ?" the servent wasn't sure if he had heard it right

" will ' I ' get ' a girl ' for ' a night ? " maan stressed each word

The servant was shocked he has heard that rich people like being with woman but getting a girl for one night in his village is really impossible '''''..

The servant's thoughts were broken when a bundle of thousand rupee notes fell on his face '''''''

" get me a gal fast " maan said while walking into his room

Servant looked at the pile of rupees he believed it to be some 50 thousand and for a man like him this much money is not less than a lottery ''''''..but from where will he bring a girl who would spend a night with a man just for a night ?... the money was too much to let go ''''''''.he had only option left his niece geet '''''''''

Geet was under his care since childhood''''''''''''.. addition to his wife and three children geet was definitely pain in the neck '''''''''''.already his wife leaves no stone unturned to make geet suffer and she is no less than a labor ''''''''if he gives her to maan the he could get 5o thousand and for all these years he has spend on geet's upbringing she can at least do this for him ''''''..

Bringing geet to guest house was not at all a issue '''''''he made geet sit in the bed room saying that she is needed to help in household and then went to call maan ''''''''

Geet has completed her school thanks to various schemes by government '''''''.. she was no less than a maid in her uncle's house but she never complained as they were the one who took care of her for these eighteen years '''''''

Geet was sitting in the room everything seemed different so she has never seen any rich man's room '''''''''''. The elegance mesmerized her '''.when she was caressing the soft material of the bed sheet she heard the door open and she immediately got from the bed ''''''''''..

Maan walked towards her , he was drunk a lot than usual '''''''''''.. he saw a girl near his bed ''''''''.. he grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him ''''''''.. he couldn't see her face in dim light ''''''''.geet was shocked by sudden action ''''''''''she tried to get out of his hold '''''''' his grip tightened '''''''..

" plzzz leave me "she cried

He brought his face near her ''''''''. She could smell alcohol ''''''' before she could realize he slammed his lips on hers'''''''. She was too shocked to react '''''''''''. She obviously has never experienced this before '''''.

He pushed her on the bed

" what are u doing '''. Plzzz leave me " she cried

He showed no pity''''''. Maan ripped his shirt and threw away before joining her in bed''''''.. she tried to move behind but but he pulled her closer holding her leg '''''..

" stop protesting wasn't the money enough " he roared while undressing her

She shouted, cried , pleaded ,protested , begged but it all had no effect on him ''''''

All her energy erupted and she was exhausted '''''''''''' she had blurred vision and was too weak to realize what he was doing with her ''''''..

Next morning maan was to return to delhi '''''''. He didn't bother to look at the lifeless soul in his bed '''''''.. according to him she was yet another s***t''''''''''' she had vague image of her face in moonlight ''''''.

" sir ''''' geet ? " the serven asked

Maan knotted his eyebrows

" that gal last night " the servant clarified

Maan just shuddered his shoulders and left ''''''..

CHAPTER 3

Maan had a restless day …………… he defo know that the gal he was with in shimla and the one he saw in hospital are the same ………………….he remembered that the nught she tried to protest but he thought that may be she was new to all that ………………. But why was she abandoned and pregnancy ? …………………. Thinking about the pregnancy made him realize that now he is a father considering the months there are 90% chances that it is his sone ………………………………but he need to clear things before dropping into conclusions ………………

Maan immediately called adi and asked him to collect information about the servant in shimla guest house ……………….

Maan waited patiently for 2 hrs to get info …………..

" sir the servant 's name is brij ……………….. he lives with his wife and three children ………………………. His niece lived with him but she she is missing for past 9 months ……………………" adi said

" what is his niece's name ? " maan asked

" geet " adi said " people say she always stayed in the house and reminded isolated for may be 3 months before she went missing …………………………….. some say that she must have died and some and that she eloped with her boy friend but as far as I enquired with neighbors she seems very lively girl and there is no complaints about character " adi said

" was she treated well in her uncle's house " maan asked

Adi was confused as why was maan aking all this abt her but decided to ignore …………………..

" sir neighbors say that she was treated very badly by her aunty ……………………. Sometimes she used to beat her as well " adi said

Now maan got full picture of everything ……………………….. brij would have forced his own niece to sleep with a man for money and when he came to know abt her pregnancy he would have deserted her ………………………… he hated this man brij and wondered how could on stoop so low………………………

Maan couldn't work the whole day as geet's thoughts kept haunting him …………………………….he could easily ignore geet as it was not completely his mistake while her own uncle sold her for money …………………………….. but for some he wanted to see her and her son , technically his son …………………….he wanted to help her , he was guilty ………………..

Next day maan personally visited hospital to meet geet and he ordered the doctors to take good care of her and promised to take all expenses on him …………………………. He tried to get specialists from foreign ……………………

He met geet in her room …………………… she still looked disturbed ………………….. his heart pained by the sight …………………… her eyes looked at him for a second and back at the wall ………………..

Maan insisted on meeting her son and the nurse brought the small little boy …………………..

" what is his name ? " maan asked

" we haven't named sir ………….. we are not supposed to do that …………….." the nurse said

Maan thought for a while before whispering " SHAAN" in the boy's ears ………………….

Since that day it became maan's habit to visit geet everyday and play with shaan …………………………… when he was there no nurses or doctors allowed in …………………….. shaan became very comfortable with him ………………………… geet would look at him for brief seconds and nowadays her 'staring the wall' seemed to reduce ……………………………… every day his visit time with geet and shaan would increase ………………….

One day maan received call from the hospital at night ………………. He immediately rushed to the hospital and was informed that shaan was missing ……………………. His anger increased immensely hearing that ………………………… he appointed al sources possible to search for him …………………… he went to meet geet who seemed not aware of anything …………………….. she looked at his worried face blankly ……………..

Finally police found that one of the nurses from the hospital sold shaan to someone for money …………………… maan's blood boiled how dare she does this to a Khuranna blood ……………………. If not for the chief doctor who begged literally maan would have knocked down the hospital with the snap of his fingers …………………

Maan talked with the chief doctor and got her agree to take geet and shaan with him to KM ……………………. He signed shaan's adoption papers assuring he would gve best care ,………………………… none dared to stop MSK …………………….

Maan wondered if he had taken a right decision ………………………. But his heart wanted to make sure that geet and shaan were safe ……………………. All his confusions were blown away when he saw geet and shaan sleeping peacefully in their room in KM ……………………………….

I WANT TO CLEAR ONE THING ... MAAN IS USED TO BE WITH GIRLS WHO OFFER THEM SELVES IN A PLATE FOR HIM ... HE IS BLIND TO GIRLS LIKE GEET I THINK I HAVE DESCRIBED ABT IT IN 1ST CHAPTER ... HE THOUGHT GEET TO BE YET ANOTHER ESCORT OR SOMETHING ... IT NOT MUCH OF HIS MISTAKE

CHAPTER 4

Life changes incredibly and maan's life is best example for that ... he didn't plan anything but what life gave him was far better than any plan possibly ... initially all his feelings towards geet was guilt and sympathy ... unknowingly he had been the reason for his destruction , he wanted to give geet and shann best life , he owe them that ... but later he developed unknown bond with them ...

Maan's life changed for better ... he was no more the maan he used to be ... not thet he regretted his previous life but he chose geet and shaan over his worldly pleasure ... when he was put a qus that if want geet and shaan in cost of his pleasure his heart nad mind invariably shouted yes...

Maan was well aware that he was attracted to geet ... geet was showing many improvments ... the speacialist whom maan appointed for geet had told that her fears are not only beacuse of forced physical intimacy but she must have been under depression all throughout her life and her present state is cumiliative effect of that ...

Though maan's guilt quiet reduced hearing that he badly wanted to punish her family who are responsible for her state ...

maan was so much attached to shaan ... his one smile will make maan's day ... shaan was eleven months now and every time he try to say any word maan would get all exciited ... the day shaan said the word ' paa ' maan's heart skipped a beat ... how much ever we deny blood relations will make a way into heart when the other is part of you ...

What made maan so happy was geet being comfortable with him ... initially she was quiet reserved and scared in new place ... she was even scared to come near shaan ... maan with doctor's help made her overcome her fear ... now she smiles when she sees him , a little frown whenever he comes late or skips food , a slight pink shade would appear on her cheek when their arms or leg touch accidentally ...

The other day maan was playing in shaan's room when he sensed someone's presence behind him , he turned to see geet ... nowadays she started spending time with shaan but but not in maan's presence ...

" do u want to play with us ? " maan asked hopefully

like a small child she came excitedly and sat beside him ... she was no less then a kid for him ... they started to play with toys ... geet was animatedly talking and giggling with shaan and maan lost in her antics ...

Maan was having difficulty in fixing a toy and he was getting irritated ...

" woh ..." his heart skipped a beat hearing her sweet voce

he raised his head to meet her nervous eyes knoting the end of her dress ...

" is this not the way to fix ? " he asked

she nodded

" can u help me ? " he asked calmly

she nodded a yes

That was the best day in his life ... he heard her sweet voice nad moreover spend time with her ... seeing her cute nervous eyes he wanted to pull her cheeks and take her in his arms ...

people say that love happens in just a second and maan knew that he has passed that second ... he knew that geet is not aware of such feelings ... he didn't want to make her stay with him as a price for helping her ... maan wanted geet with him with her whole hearted acceptence ... he didn't want to force her ... he wanted her to feel the same what he feel for her ... he would patiently wait for that day she would accept him until then he will stay beside her as her protector . ...

CHAPTER 5

That day wasn't one of the best days in KM for MK………………………. Since maan got up fom bed he was facing trouble ………………….. today morning newspaper released his photo with geet and shaan standing in KM balcony ………………………..god knows how the photo got leaked ………………………… maan was very particular in keeping geet and shaan away from media……………………………………but this photo with headline ,

"MSK WITH HIS SECRET WIFE AND SON"

Created hell damage ……………

From morning every news channel is showing the pic and talking abt the same …………………………..maan received a lot of calls ……………………… he wasn't scared abt his reputation but he didn't want to drag geet and shaan into all this ……………………….. he didn't want to do anything that would cause difficulty in future for geet ………………………… maan was ready to accept geet as his wife but what if geet regrets it ………………..

" adi do whatever it takes to clear this " maan shouted disconnecting the phone

Maan frustrated hit the table hard , all his temper vanished wheb he met with a pair of tearful eyes ……………………

" geeet………" he heard himself say

Tears , that was the first time maan saw tears in her eyes previously she used to be blank , expressionless but seeing tears in her almond eyes for the first time ripped his heart ……………………….

Before he could react she ran from there and without second thought he followed ……………………… geet didn't know what to do she thought may be she was the cause for his tension ……………………….. she went to his room to talk with him but seeing his anger for the first time worried her ………………………… geet was running wiping her tears simultaneously when she bumped into someone ……………..

She moved back to see who it was …………………. She was shocked to see her uncle brij with his wife standing there with security …………….

" geet? " her aunty said

Geet's head spinned ………………. She was terrified ……………….. she was about to lose her balance when strong arms wrapped her waist and her body leaned on his solid chest ……………………

" sir these two told that they are mam's relatives and forced us to let them in " the security said

This is the last outcome maan expected from the photograpg leak issue …………………..

" maan sir u do remember me, don't u ? after all I m the one that brought geet to u that night " brij said with evil grin

Maan felt geet's hold on his arms loosen …………………. Till now she didn't know that he was the one who was with her that night but now since she knew he was sure that she would hate him ………………………………. The mere thought killed him …………………….. her eyes were filled with tear and made it difficult for him to read her thoughts ………………

Geet ran to her room and sat near the bed hugging her knees …………………….. maan looked at her with pain ……………………… he didn't know what to do ………………….. he sat near her ……………

" geettt" he called in low voice

The next moment she wrapped her arms around him and hugged ……………….. maan was shocked …………………… she stood on her knees and brought him closer to her …………………………

" plzzz – don't – send – me with – them " she said with shaking voice " I – want --- to – be – with – u "

Maan wasn't sure if he actually heard her say that ……………….. was this confession coz of her fear for them or love for him ?... he didn't know but all he knew is that she trusted him ………..

Maan made her sleep whispering consoling words and promises …………………. He then went down to meet brij and his wife ……………………. Maan was right in guessing they came there for money ………………………. Poor brij didn't knows that he was dealing with MSK ………………….. within few mins maan got them arrested on charges of domestic violence …………………..

Maan went to geet's room and saw her sleeping peacefully ………………. He took his phone and called adi ………………

" arrange a press conference " maan said

" but sir ? " adi asked

" I want to clear rumours declaring geet as mine , my wife " maan said with a smile

TODAY IS THE BIG DAY WHEN I STARTED TO WRITE A YEAR AGO

EPILOGUE

Maan was lying in the bed recollecting that day's events ………………….. it has been two days since the photo got leaked and brij issue popped and finally today he sorted out everything in press conference ……………….

Morning maan walked in the hall where all press ppl were gathered ………………………… as he got his and geet's marriage registered the day before he proudly announced to the media that geet is his wife of course hiding the date of the marriage coz he didn't want anyone to rise any qus abt shaan ………………..

Maan had wide smile thinking about every min he spent with geet ……………………. He was disturbed by knock at his door …………………….. he opened the door and was shocked to see geet ………………………. He wondered if there was any emergency ……………………………… but he was surprised to see unaffected geet who brought shaan along with her ………………………. She placed him in his cradle ………………….. she gave a quick look to maan before entered his duvet and made herself comfortable in his bed ………………….

Maan stood there watching her in confusion ………………………… he didn't know what she was doing and also what he shd do …………………… so he obediently slipped beside her in bed maintaining a safe distance ……………..

As soon as he lay down he felt a sudden weight on his chest ……………………. Geet was using him as her pillow ………………………. A wave of chill ran through him ……………….. he kissed her forehead and brought her closer ……………….. she softly rubbed her nose in his chest in sleep ……………….. he chuckled ………………

They never spoke ……………….. the moment was too good to be disturbed by words ……………………………he drifted to blissful sleep to wake up for beautiful morning , beautiful life ………………………

Their life did take a big turn ... maan was enjoying every moment of being married to geet ... in this 6 months of their marriage maan never made any physical advances except hugs and pecks fearing he might scare her ...

geet started to become more comfortable with maan ... she started to open up with him ... she started to take care of maan and shaan like a typical wife ... she would always boss around him and poor maan will end up giving in to all demands ...

the other day maan and geet just reached baclk from party ... maan entered the room and saw geet who was looking herself in the mirror ...

" u r ok ?" maan asked

Geet came and sat near him ...

" maan i want to get pregnant " geet said straightly

" What ?!?! " maan was shocked

" maan i want baby " geet said

" but we have baby " maan said

" u know i met Mrs.Grover today and she is expecting her second baby " geet said

" geet shaan is very small we need to take care of him " maan said

Not that maan didn't want to take their relationship further but still geet was not completely alright ... though she behaves normally like everyone she still doesn't exactly remember what happened betwwen them in shimla , how she got pregnant how she came to maan and all ... according to geet they both are married from beginning as some sort of story she sees in TV ... she is still unaware of many things and maan didn't want to stress her ... Now geet's life is like a new blossomed flower which starts only from the pirtion where maan entered her life in delhi ... now maan didn't know what to do ...

" jaan its not like what u think " maan tried to explain ... jaan is a word that will instantly melt geet but this time it didn't work she got more angry

" u don't love me ... u r like those heros who they show in serials who cheat on their wives after marriage ... i bet u lost interest in me and u have an affair " geet shouted

maan cursed himself for allowing her to watch TV serials ...

" its not like that I love u very much " maan said

" u don't " geet started to cry and that pierced maan's heart

maan pulled her to his lap and she automatically wrapped her hand around him ... he held her chin and lifted to meet his face ... he kissed her tears

" geet my feelings towards no one has been as pure as mine to urs ... i love u more than myself and i can do anything for ur happiness ..." maan said

maan looked at her to read her eyes ... a small smile at the corner of her lips told that she trusted him ... he was pulled towards her delicate lips like a magnet to iron and with no delay captured her petals in his ...

That night maan and geet gave new meaning to their relationship ... he marked her as his and she willingly gave in ... after a year they were gifted with cute little girl ... and they lived happily ever after
