So he's safe... & didn't knew about her being pregnant at the time of the blast. Quite sad for him. You are slowly making me doubt whether my hatred towards him is justified or no, but then again his few dialouges with G.. & Thor especially saying she was being just desperate to get to the answers was making me feel that my anger towards him is justified... quite a confused soul I am.

And then there was a click the very next instant as she hung up without giving him any context for the urgency she'd expressed.

In deliberate slow moves, he got to his laptop and clicked his way to the link which was the only content in the email. A small command window opened where he typed in his passcode after which a satellite feed came up. It was that of the Piazza, but his head was swollen with fuzz, from all that thinking he'd done all day and he couldn't tell what he was looking for at first look.

He blinked a couple of times lifting the laptop off the table and drew it up close in his line of sight.

She was back again on the steps; a red umbrella gave her the much needed shade from the scorching roman sun while she calculatedly popped channa into her mouth.

His head lolled back, staring back at the ceiling of his room and his mind was wiped clear of all thoughts but one: "What the hell was he going to do with her?"

Seems like the affection seeking ones are under fire here so just a word in my defense. They made a baby together. I just want to go into the part where Maan was more open to her. Where her seeking him was reciprocated. This Maan is so closed and controlled and controlling, he is not likeable to me at all. I want to go back to a time where all shields were off. The truth of their togetherness, the love he is still trying to protect. Maybe a dream scene if not anything in the present. Then perhaps the justification for his behavior can make sense to me. Again just my POV. Waiting for more eagerly.
