BB 19 Grand Finale: Salman Khan hits back at Baseer Ali over biased remarks, says ‘Humne toh aapko bahar....'

During the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19, Salman Khan directly addressed comments made by evicted contestant Baseer Ali. The actor and host reminded Baseer that speaking against the makers, the show’s format, and even Salman himself could have serious implications for his career. He added that certain sensitive topics, including remarks around Baseer’s sexuality or statements taken out of context, could have caused further damage to his public image.

Salman questioned Baseer about his apparent bitterness towards the show’s makers and also addressed the social media tension between him and fellow contestant Nehal Chudasama, pointing out that they had unfollowed each other online. He noted that Baseer had previously complained about not receiving enough attention during his stint but emphasised that such dissatisfaction did not justify speaking negatively about the show. Salman concluded the discussion by advising Baseer to be more sensible, adding that no production house would want to work with someone who discredits the platform they are part of.

The host further reminded Baseer that Bigg Boss had offered him a significant platform to reach audiences. When Baseer stated that he was “speaking from the heart,” Salman responded that airing bitterness publicly could only harm his standing with production houses and future opportunities.

Earlier, in interviews following his eviction, Baseer had said, “Maine out of India reality shows dekhe hai. Kuch mere friends hain Pakistan mein, kuch US mein, kuch Dubai mein. Everywhere, people have said jab audience social media pe aa kar awaz uthati hai, ki we want this contestant back, etc, the feedback is taken. It is just a little disheartening for me ki humare itne bade show jo showmakers hai, jo channel hai wo log audience ko sun hi nahi rahe hai. I am not saying ki mujhe andar le aao. I am just talking about listening to your own audience, seeing and hearing what they ki chahte kya hai. Uss hisab se apna show chalao. Bana to audience ke liye rahe ho na.”

Bigg Boss 19 saw a dramatic Weekend Ka Vaar in the last week of October with a surprise double elimination. Both Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama were evicted, shocking fans and housemates. Baseer’s elimination, despite his strong gameplay and growing fan base, marked the second double eviction of the season and intensified competition as the show moved closer to its finale.
