Sara Ali Khan marked seven years of Kedarnath by sharing a set of behind the scenes memories that took her back to the time before her debut. The film, released in 2018, introduced her to Bollywood and paired her with the late Sushant Singh Rajput, whose performance and on screen chemistry with her still remain a talking point among viewers.
On Instagram, she posted several throwback moments and opened up about what the film meant to her. She wrote, “7 years to Kedarnath. If only I could go back to 2017… not to change a single moment but to relive, cherish and truly appreciate every nanosecond of that magical time. I miss it everyday. But I really am grateful for all that it gave me and all that it taught me.”
Her note became more personal as she reflected on how the shoot shaped her early experiences. “My introduction to black coffee, the genesis of my love for trekking, the start of my moon obsession, true desire for the camera, gratitude to my audience and the realisation of my fondness for pahadi khana. Thank you Sushant for introducing me to all of this. But mostly thank you for reminding me to always be curious and always try and learn.”

She ended her note with “2017 Jai Bholenath.” The post drew quick responses from fans who shared their memories of Sushant Singh Rajput. One user wrote, “Miss you Sushant brother.” Another commented, “Love the way u still remember n thanks Sushant.”
Along with revisiting the past, Sara also has a packed schedule ahead. Her upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, co starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh, has locked its release for March 2026. The makers recently unveiled the first poster featuring Ayushmann as Prajapati Pandey. The caption teased a mix of romance and confusion, calling it “Har pati ki hoti hai, apni ek aflatoon duniya… Jo unko bhale hi satati ho, magar hum sabki badha hasati hai!”
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film aims to bring a new set of characters and chaotic situations to the franchise’s world.
